Alchemy Master

Chapter 313, Medicine King

Qin Yichen and Lin Tianwei showed no intention of being gentlemen.

Qin Yichen’s intention was clear – he wanted a share too!

“No way!” The Seventh Princess was very firm in her stance.

She had lurked in the Three-Tailed Spirit Devouring Fox’s territory for two full days to obtain this item! She had only managed to get it when the Three-Tailed Spirit Devouring Fox went out to hunt!

In other words, that would be her only gain from the first floor.

Having spent so much effort and taking such risks, how could she possibly agree to share with Qin Yichen?

However, her firm stance did not last long.

After all, her wounds were increasing, and her dress was stained red with her own blood. She slowly realised that if this continued, she would definitely become fertilizer for this sea of flowers.

“Can we negotiate different terms?”

She finally relented.

She still did not want to give up this hard-won item. Most importantly, that item was extremely crucial to her – so crucial that she had set aside her Princess status to participate in the Martial Arts Tournament.

“Princess, I think you misunderstand. I just want to know what that item is.” Qin Yichen put on a ‘you misunderstood’ expression. [Think you can get away with this without paying a fee? Dream on! How could things from outside compare to items within the Twilight Tower? Besides, you were the one who had actively involved me into your mess.]

However, when she took out a translucent, crystalline white Spirit Herb emitting a faint glow, Qin Yichen’s pupils suddenly contracted.

“A Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb!?” The exclamation came from Qin Yichen’s mouth. He never imagined he would encounter a Medicine King Grade Spirit Herb!

There are many types of Spirit Herbs. Ordinary Spirit Herbs, Rare Spirit Herbs, Peerless Spirit Herbs, and then Medicine King Spirit Herbs.

The Seven-Coloured Flower that Qin Yichen obtained could not be considered to be Medicine King Grade, though for Alchemy Masters, it was comparable to one.

But the Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb was genuinely a Medicine King Grade Spirit Herbs!

Seeing him recognise the Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb at a glance, the Seventh Princess was taken by surprised.

“This is extremely important to me!” The Seventh Princess bit her lower lip, her delicate hand clutching the Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb tightly, as if afraid Qin Yichen would snatch it away.

The reason Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb could become a Medicine King was because it greatly benefited the Martial Soul of Soul Martial Artists.

The Seventh Princess possessed the Heavenly Hu Jiao Martial Soul, so she naturally needed it.

As for Qin Yichen, he needed it even more.

Every time he used his True Dragon Martial Soul, the Heaven Earth Spirit Pearl would dim a little. This was why he could not use it unless absolutely necessary.

If not for the Lightning Lion Martial Soul’s nourishment, he probably could not have lasted for so long in the Extreme Flame Zone.

Even if he activated the True Dragon Martial Soul within him, he could probably only maintain it for a few minutes before the Heaven Earth Spirit Pearl would dim again.

Now, with this Medicine King Grade Spirit Herbs, that greatly benefited Martial Souls, how could Qin Yichen let it go?!

Absolutely not!

Even if he had to snatch it, he would get that Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb!

*Whoosh!…* With a release of Qin Yichen’s Yuan Energy, the surrounding flowers and grass were all cleared away, creating an empty space.

Seeing this, the Seventh Princess immediately jumped to the cleared off area.

With Qin Yichen’s Yuan Energy maintaining it, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

However, she looked quite miserable now, her originally magnificent dress was now tattered and full of holes, making her appear very disheveled.

At this moment, Qin Yichen thoughtfully offered her a Pill.

The Seventh Princess took the Pill but did not immediately consume it. After hesitating and realising her situation could not get any worse, she finally took it.

The Pill Qin Yichen gave her was naturally exceptional. It was mainly because he wanted to demonstrate his abilities to the Princess.

“What do you think of this humble one’s Pill?”

A moment later, seeing the Seventh Princess looking at him in shock, Qin Yichen’s smile grew even broader.

Clearly, he had achieved his goal.

“You refined this?” The Seventh Princess asked incredulously.

Her current feelings were actually similar to Lin Tianwei’s not long ago.

Qin Yichen’s Pills were far too advanced, completely incomparable to Pills of the current era.

“Does the Princess think there’s anyone else in the Grand Empire who could refine such a Pill?” Qin Yichen was very proud. An air of arrogance naturally emerged, causing the Seventh Princess’s delicate body to tremble.

Indeed.

In the Grand Empire, there definitely was not a second person who could refine such a Pill. Even if this Pill was not refined by the youth before her, the refiner must have an extraordinarily close relationship with this youth.

“If the Princess trusts this humble one, hand over the Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb to me, and I will definitely present you with a unique Jade Clear Ice Soul Pill, guaranteed to make you satisfied.” Qin Yichen promised, patting his chest.

The Seventh Princess fell silent.

If Qin Yichen’s refined Jade Clear Ice Soul Pill was on the same level as the Pill she had just taken… her heart started beating rapidly.

After obtaining this Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb, she would definitely need to refine it into Pills. However, Qin Yichen was too stingy – with such a Spirit Herb, he was only willing to give her one Pill.

Naturally, she could not agree to it.

It was far too few.

Qin Yichen naturally could see through what was on her mind. After all, having her considering it meant that this deal was possible.

“Pardon my directness, but if the Princess gives this Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb to those old men at the Alchemy Central to refine, it would only be a waste of this excellent Medicine King Grade Spirit Herb.”

Qin Yichen was not afraid of offending those at the Alchemy Central. Besides, these words might not necessarily reach those their ears.

However, he overlooked one person… Lin Tianwei.

Lin Tianwei, a person without any power backing him, had more Pills than the Princess of the Grand Empire’s Royal Family. There was a reason for this. It was because he had a close relationship with one of those ‘old men’ Qin Yichen had mentioned.

Under his black robe, Lin Tianwei’s mouth twitched slightly, but he did not say anything.

“This humble one dares guarantee that the Jade Clear Ice Soul Pill I refine will definitely be a hundred times more effective than those refined by those old men!”

Though it seemed like Qin Yichen was exaggerating, he was actually stating facts.

Especially in a place like the Grand Empire. Those old men in Twilight City’s Alchemy Central had never encountered a Medicine King Grade Spirit Herb in their lives. If they tried to refine it into Pills, they would likely lose more than half of its medicinal properties.

“If what you say is true, that the medicinal effects will be a hundred times greater, I can give you the Jade Clear Ice Soul Spirit Herb.”

The Seventh Princess finally wavered, but her next words made Qin Yichen’s face turn dark, “But, after refining it into Pills, I want half of them!”

She did not specify the number of Pills, but directly asked for half.

One had to admit, the Seventh Princess was quite clever.
