Alchemy Master

Chapter 310, Black Demon Energy

“Why should I trust you? What if you take those things and run away?” Although tempted by Qin Yichen’s words, the black-robed person still vigilantly asked.

“I, Qin Yichen, dare to do anything, but betraying my allies is something I’ve never done.” Qin Yichen patted his chest and said aloud.

“If you don’t keep to your words, I won’t let you off!” Perhaps moved by Qin Yichen’s promise and determination, a cold voice emerged from under the black robe.

“Don’t worry!” Qin Yichen nodded and solemnly said. Then, he and the black-robed person exchanged glances, and both figures suddenly burst forward.

*Swoosh!* The black-robed person waved their sleeve, and highly corrosive black energy howled out from their sleeve, immediately corroding the flower vines several meters in front of them.

*Whoosh!* The black-robed person’s actions seemed to enrage the Flower Vine Beast greatly. Immediately, countless flower vines surged towards the black-robed person.

At this moment, Qin Yichen stepped heavily into the sea of flowers, his figure flashing past the side of the Flower Vine Beast like an agile bird, rushing towards the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits Tree behind it.

Just as he reached the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits Tree, an invigorating flower fragrance assailed his nostrils. Looking at the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits on the giant tree, the fervor in Qin Yichen’s eyes grew even more intense.

Qin Yichen moved like an agile monkey, climbing up the giant tree while taking out his somewhat worn Pill Furnace.

*Thump! Thump!* Just as Qin Yichen was about to pick a Seven-Coloured Fruit, the Flower Vine Beast seemed to sense his actions. It stopped paying attention to the black-robed person and charged towards the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits Tree.

“Damn it…” Watching the Flower Vine Beast move like an earthquake, Qin Yichen’s mouth twitched, and cold sweat dripped down his cheeks.

*Buzz buzz…* As the Flower Vine Beast charged towards the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits Tree, a black smoke suddenly rose up, transforming into a giant palm that slammed heavily towards the Flower Vine Beast.

*Rustle!* Under this palm strike, the Flower Vine Beast’s advance was hindered. Immediately, countless flower vines like demon hands angrily grabbed at the black-robed person.

“Hurry up! I can only hold on for three minutes!” The black-robed person dodged desperately, shouting loudly, though their voice now sounded somewhat weak, clearly having exerted all their strength to stop the Flower Vine Beast.

Immediately, Qin Yichen did not dare hesitate anymore. He quickly moved through the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits Tree, picking the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits that could cause a huge sensation outside, and throwing them into the Pill Furnace.

If there was any other way, he absolutely would not throw the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits into the small Pill Furnace. Because although the small Pill Furnace could contain many items, it would directly absorb the essence of any spirit medicine put inside it.

It should be known that this robber would even absorb the essence of Pills when Qin Yichen was refining them!

*Bang!* After three minutes, on the sea of flowers, the black-robed person’s footwork showed a moment’s hesitation, and then the black-robed person was struck by several flower vines,

The black-robed person’s figure had been thrown far away.

*Thump! Thump!*

After throwing the black-robed person away, the Flower Vine Beast did not pursue further, Rather, it strode with huge steps, angrily charging towards the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits Tree.

“What a pity!” Seeing the approaching Flower Vine Beast, Qin Yichen sighed inwardly, cast a lingering gaze at the remaining Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits. Still he dared not stay any longer.

He leaping down from the tree.

*Whoosh! Whoosh!* Just as Qin Yichen leaped down, a large batch of flower vines whipped towards him with shocking force.

“Quickly, run!” Qin Yichen moved his feet continuously, avoiding these flower vines, darting to the black-robed person’s side, pulling that person up, and running away without looking back.

The Flower Vine Beast, as if restricted somehow, stopped at the edge of the sea of flowers and did not continue pursuing.

Afterward, the two fled to a Fully Accomplished Spirit Realm Demonic Beast’s territory. This time, Qin Yichen had learned his lesson, directly beating up that Demonic Beast before finding a quiet place in its territory to hide.

After obtaining the Seven-Coloured Flowers and Fruits, Qin Yichen did not immediately start refining them, but instead passed several Pills to the black-robed person. The latter did not hesitate, taking them and swallowing them directly.

“Brother, try using that black energy to corrode me.” Qin Yichen said seriously after the other’s breathing had stabilised.

“Corrode you?” Hearing these words, the black-robed person was clearly stunned. Seeing that the other’s expression was solemn, far from a joke, they did not waste any words. The black-robed person let a strand of black energy seep out and wrap around Qin Yichen’s arm.

*Buzz…* When wrapped by this strand of black energy, a domineering corrosive force came from it, making the skin on Qin Yichen’s arm feel numb and sore. Even with his strong Physique, he felt he could barely withstand the black energy’s corrosion.

[This corrosion… is it Black Demon Energy?] Qin Yichen’s expression changed slightly. Black Demon Energy was not unfamiliar to him, but what he could not understand was how Black Demon Energy, which belonged to one of the continent’s top Families… the Black Demon Family’s special energy, could appear here?

Qin Yichen frowned slightly, releasing a scorching Yuan Energy from within his body, only then did this black energy disperse.

However, even so, his skin had been corroded significantly, revealing the mangled flesh of his arm beneath.

Of course, this was just a superficial wound. The black-robed person knew the limit to not truly injure Qin Yichen.

After taking a Healing Pill, Qi Yichen arm visibly recovered back to normal.

“How is it?” Looking at Qin Yichen’s furrowed brows, the black-robed person flatly asked, seemingly without much hope. Though. from the black-robed person’s slightly trembling voice, one could see the black-robed person still harbored a glimmer of hope.

“I’ll help you refine a Pill that can temporarily suppress the Black Demon Energy, freeing you from the pain of it consuming your body. However, that Pill only treats the symptoms, not the root cause. To be free from that suffering, you must completely master that power yourself.” Qin Yichen said with a somewhat grave expression.

“Suppress? Is there really hope!?” Hearing Qin Yichen’s solemn words, the black-robed person’s body trembled.

This strange thing appeared ten years ago when the black-robed person was just a ten-year-old child. At that time, the black-robed person had accidentally fallen into a valley, and when they woke up, they found that they had no injuries, but there was a mysterious strand of black energy in their body. This strand of black energy gave the black-robed person powerful strength. However, while possessing this bizarrely powerful energy, the black-robed person also needed to endure inhuman torture at every moment…

During these ten years, the black-robed person had consulted countless Alchemy Masters, but none could help. Recently, the black-robed person even felt like they could not hold on much longer, which was why the black-robed person chose to participate in the Martial Arts Tournament to enter the Twilight Tower in search of some medicinal herbs.
