Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys

Chapter 700: Chapter 276: Warhammer Wizard (Two-in-One Mega Chapter)

When Lord Reine returned to the Count Mansion with Holdan and several others in tow, there was one more person who, like the guards, waited anxiously.

Seeing Lord Reine safely return, the Chief Maid Shadia finally breathed a sigh of relief.

However, noticing the curvaceous female Great Knight, Alexandrina, clinging closely to Lord Reine’s side, Chief Maid Shadia couldn’t help but look down at her own size, which was at least two sizes smaller, and muttered dejectedly under her breath, “Such a…”.

But it seemed she thought of something and immediately held her tongue.

Her fair cheeks quickly flushed red as she looked around anxiously. Then, in a hurry, she strode back to her room alone and started scrubbing a small piece of cotton linen with ribbons on both sides.

Upon closer inspection, it was actually lace!

The spicy design contrasted sharply with the conservative, black maid’s uniform that Shadia wore.

No wonder Shadia fled in panic after Alexandrina made that comment that day; it was simply too pointed.

Although the guards of the Count Mansion had only caught a brief glimpse of the chase between Lord Reine and the enemy,

they could easily gauge the intensity of the battle just by looking at the ground craters and the twisted iron gates that resembled twisted breadsticks.

Now seeing their own Lord Reine return victorious, they couldn’t help but cheer aloud!

Lord Reine waved his hand, smiling and greeting everyone. Then, he proceeded to carry Holdan into the main building of the villa.

At that moment, the Blade Squad captain, Langgeler, who had been holding his words for a while, spoke up, “Lord Reine, I never imagined you could be a… wizard?”

Upon hearing Langgeler’s words, Alexandrina and Alex were immediately stunned.

Both looked at Langgeler with faces full of blank amazement, as if asking, “Wait a second? What was that question?”

As for Langgeler’s question, Lord Reine felt quite at ease inside.

He had anticipated that such a situation might arise.

With continuous engagement in battle in the future, he naturally wouldn’t be able to keep his little secrets forever.

Little secrets were bound to be revealed sooner or later; of course, the big secrets must remain confidential.

So, without much hesitation, Lord Reine nodded, affirming Langgeler’s guess, and said with a smile:

“Yes, Captain Langgeler, I am indeed a wizard. However…”

“Because there are so few metal-based spells, I still tend to resolve fights more like a knight.”

“That makes sense!” Langgeler nodded, his face a picture of realization.

Lord Reine?

A Wizard?

Hearing this news, Alexandrina shuddered all over, her hands, which had been supporting Lord Reine, were now clinging tightly to him, with her body almost lying against one side of him as she looked up at Lord Reine with admiration!

Upon hearing this answer, Alex felt as if he had been electrified!

He looked at Lord Reine with utter disbelief!

Considering he himself was a level-three Wizard Apprentice, about to take the vaporization potion and become a formal wizard, he could not believe he had not recognized that Lord Reine, so close at hand, was a formal wizard!

Moreover, how old was the other party?

He was already a Great Knight who had grasped the secret technique, and now, he was also a wizard?

After sizing up Lord Reine again, Alex realized that the other party was indeed a wizard.

The powerful spiritual power barrier of a formal wizard was the best proof.

“Viscount Reine… are you a wizard specializing in metal?” Alex asked after calming his shock, speaking even more respectfully than he did to his own captain, Langgeler.

“Yes, Lord Alex, when we have the chance, we can exchange insights on witchcraft,” Lord Reine said with a smile.

“Of course, it’s not so much of an exchange but a request for your guidance. It’s no wonder with so few preserved metal spells, you tend to fight more as a knight.”

Meanwhile, Olena had walked out of her room, bleary-eyed, just in time to overhear Alex’s words.

Immediately, the efficient matron rubbed her face, widened her eyes, and pricked up her ears to listen carefully.

Huh?

Good heavens! Lord Reine is a wizard?

And a rare metal wizard at that?

Instantly, a series of questions popped into her mind, such as when did Lord Reine become a wizard? Before or after joining the Sword Bearers? Which school did he join beforehand? And so on…

However, one thing was fairly certain: Lord Reine had no intention of deliberately hiding it, otherwise, he wouldn’t have let it slip.

But those questions were quite private, so Olena stopped in her tracks, planning to wait until there were fewer people around to ask Lord Reine for details.

Then, Alex glanced at Lord Reine holding Holdan and continued:

“Viscount Reine, I can set up an array to isolate Holdan from communicating with the mysterious side. This way, not only will he be unable to cast spells, but even if he prays fervently, he won’t be able to contact any Evil God or heretic.”

Lord Reine had just been considering whether to interrogate the other party.

However, based on the recent event, Holdan seemed to be a devoted follower of the Secret Snake Sect.

Therefore, Lord Reine was not optimistic that he would get any useful information from him.

Rather than that, to prevent the possibility of him escaping or casting some unpredictable secret spell, he was thinking it might be better to simply kill him.
