Chapter 663: Chapter 266 Breaking Evil (Two in One Mega Chapter)_4

“Whoosh!”

A black short spear, fast as lightning, suddenly assaulted him.

“Bang!!!”

The black short spear struck a basin-sized indentation into the black energy shield, but it barely held up, preventing the spear from piercing through the screen!

However, this strike had significantly dimmed the black shield as the violent clash with the spear drained a large amount of energy.

Before Kurban and his companions could catch their breath,

a “pop” sound, like that of a bursting bubble, rang out!

A pale silver silhouette, wearing a pair of sharp metal gauntlets, pierced the dimmed shield, then, with hands, it forcefully tore it apart as easily as ripping through a piece of thin paper, instantly tearing the black film.

Rein darted right in!

This scene stunned Kurban and the other five to their core; they hastily dodged for cover!

“Zzzt Zzzt Zzzt!”

Above the demonic formation’s grounded airspace, dozens of black blade arcs flashed by in an instant.

What Rein was executing was the Kadar Martial Arts’ Intermediate Secret Technique “Rapid Slash”!

Two seconds later, calm returned above the demonic formation, and the five stood frozen on the spot, motionless, save for the dozens of intersecting bloodlines faintly appearing on their faces and bodies!

“Plop! Plop!”

A dense sound of things falling echoed!

Where the five black-robed Black Flame practitioners stood, now there was no one to be seen, and at the five corners of the demonic formation on the ground lay five pools of blood and flesh chunks.

Each piece was nearly the same size, adult male fist-sized, mixed with blood, organs, and white brain matter piled together…

Meanwhile, Rein slowly straightened his body, shook off the remaining traces of blood on his Finger Tiger blades, and looked calmly towards the main force of the Black Flame Cult!

As if to say, you’re next!

This sight immediately horrified the Black Flame cultists!

The numerous Cultist recruits were left looking at each other in disbelief, unsure why the Lady High Priestess of Wales County wanted them to come and observe this battle now!

Wasn’t it supposed to be a combat training?

But it seemed like they were the ones getting schooled!

Because judging from the situation, it appeared they were not at an advantage, or rather, although the Lady High Priestess hadn’t yet taken action, the first battle was indeed a real loss.

Gallina’s expression had also turned quite grave at this time.

Just now, it wasn’t that she didn’t want to provide aid; she was just about to dismount her carriage when she realized Rein had already broken into the heart of the demonic formation, making rescue futile!

And why was her reaction so delayed?

That was because the opponent had actually withstood the enhanced ‘Black Flame Burst’ from the demonic formation, a sight that greatly surprised Gallina.

Clearly, this person was the Golden-level Sword Bearer mentioned by the inside informant.

If she wasn’t mistaken, the opponent had just executed at least two secret techniques, one resembling a shield and the other like a blade or short dagger.

One offense and one defense, which made Gallina increasingly wary!

Originally, she had planned to test her new trump card, but after witnessing this scene, she decided to let the big guy at the back take over first.

If the opponent only mastered two secret techniques, it would not be too difficult to deal with; she could still deliver the final blow later.

Otherwise, they would have to plan for the long term!

After all, this wasn’t a mission imposed by the church, but a task requested by her predecessor, Raksul.

Additionally, there was something else she didn’t quite understand.

When the opponent withstood the ‘Black Flame Burst’ enhanced by the demonic formation, it seemed like he was holding a shield, but somehow, the shield disappeared later on. Did he throw it away? Gallina was puzzled.

With a slight shake of her head, Gallina decided not to dwell on that for now; she turned to a Black Flame practitioner beside her and said:

“Go! Activate the Giant Axe Golem guards immediately!”
