Chapter 653: Chapter 264 Epic! (2 in 1 Big Chapter)_2

…

Rapid Cutting (Basic Secret Technique) Effect: Uses a special force generation technique combining primal force with bladed finger tigers to swiftly wave and slice the enemy’s limbs.

(To upgrade Rapid Cutting to Intermediate Secret Technique, the following conditions must be met: one, Kadar Martial Arts lv14 or above; two, Giant Bear Breathing Method lv14 or above; three, Strength 38 points, Agility 35 points, Constitution 32 points or above; four, consumes 1 Golden Skill Point.)

At this moment, Lord Reine once again appeared pensive, crossed his arms, and started pacing back and forth in the room.

“I just used 2 points, and now I still have 6 Golden Skill Points,” he thought.

“If I upgrade all four of the newly mastered Basic Secret Techniques to Intermediate Secret Techniques, that would only require 4 Golden Skill Points….”

Reine’s eyes sparkled!

He immediately decided to upgrade all four of the freshly realized Basic Secret Techniques, and as for the Golden Skill Points, they could always be earned.

The next second.

As the number of Golden Skill Points decreased from 6→2 on the panel, system notifications began appearing like a flood:

[Congratulations, you have mastered the Intermediate Secret Technique of Rocken’s Axe-Shield Combat: Flash Cut!]

[Congratulations, you have mastered….]

…

Thus, the four Basic Secret Techniques ‘Flash Cut,’ ‘Iron Wall,’ ‘Heavy Punch Combo,’ and ‘Rapid Cutting’ were all upgraded to Intermediate Secret Techniques by Reine.

Looking at the freshly upgraded four Intermediate Secret Techniques, Reine showed a satisfied expression.

…

The next morning.

After bidding farewell to his family and the beautiful woman Jennifer, Reine set off towards the End-of-the-World Inn where Lady Cleya was staying.

Reine, at this time, had a warhammer with a miniaturized skull at the front, known as the ‘Skull Warhammer,’ slung on one side of his waist, and behind him carried a long wooden box, housing a replica of the emperor’s scepter.

As for weapons like the Glimmering Greatsword, Reine had them hanging on both sides of his fast-stepping angle horse ‘Little Black.ʼ”

Initially, Reine did not intend to bring the Glimmering Greatsword, because its surface had been hardened through quenching and polishing, and using the Metal Morphing Spell would damage this surface effect.

That meant if Reine fought holding the Glimmering Greatsword, it would be somewhat sharper, but could not transform.

However, after reconsidering, Reine thought he could place the weapons on ‘Little Black,’ now a ferocious beast, without having to carry them himself, which would not add to his burden and would not affect his speed in combat, but would instead serve as a tactical decoy.

So, Reine decided to take the weapons with him after all.

Riding the towering fast-stepping angle horse ‘Little Black,’ with a fierce battle hound the size of a pony cub called ‘Cookie’ following behind, Reine arrived strikingly at the doorstep of the End-of-the-World Inn.

At this time, a luxurious carriage bearing the Kali bird emblem and two groups totaling twenty-four elite cavalrymen were already waiting at the front of the inn, and Lady Cleya and her servant had just walked out.

The timing was perfect.

Lady Cleya naturally noticed Reine on his high-stepping horse.

“Two fierce-grade pets?” Lady Cleya’s eyes lit up, immediately recognizing the extraordinary aspects of the horse Reine rode and the hound behind him.

However, with the inn’s doorway crowded and noisy, it was not a suitable place for pleasantries, so after nodding towards Reine, Cleya boarded the carriage.

“Lord Reine… Lady Cleya invites you to join her in the carriage,” just as Reine was about to ride ‘Little Black’ and follow the cavalry behind Cleya’s carriage, the Chief Maid Shadia approached quickly, smiling.

“Hmm? Am I to get in the carriage as well? What about my warhorse…”

“Lord Reine’s warhorse can be left to me to take care of,” said Yodel, the butler, with a beaming smile.

“All right, thank you.”

Eager to catch up with Cleya after a long separation, Reine naturally wanted to chat with her.

When Reine climbed into the carriage, he discovered that the space inside was extremely spacious and luxurious, with two rows of seating and a long, brown solid wood coffee table in the middle.

Once Reine was inside the carriage, the entire convoy slowly started moving towards the county of Wales.

Inside the carriage.

…

“By the way, Reine, remember I taught you the Giant Bear Sword Technique before, but in terms of level and power, the Giant Bear Sword Technique as an Extraordinary Combat Skill isn’t very strong. I have a scroll of Arcadian Swordsmanship here, consider it a welcome gift for you, the Guardian Knight,”

Cleya smiled as she took a quaint pale-yellow scroll from Shadia’s hands and handed it to Reine.

“Arcadian Swordsmanship?”

“Yes, Arcadia, full name Arcadia·Payson, was a famous Sword Saint hundreds of years ago! Reine, you can take a look first, it should be of some help to you.”

Reine felt intrigued and immediately took the scroll and started reading.

Reine naturally would not refuse the Arcadian Swordsmanship offered by Lady Cleya.

Especially since it was an Extraordinary Combat Skill from a Sword Saint!

The secret technique derived from his previous study of the Giant Bear Sword Technique was the Sonic Secret Technique, not that it was bad, but it was quite different from the traditional derivations of the Dual-Handed Greatsword’s secret techniques.

Therefore, Reine was quite eager to see what kind of secret techniques mastering this Arcadian Swordsmanship would bring him.

“I remember you once asked me if it was the Giant Bear Swordsmanship I was practicing, actually, I have always been practicing this two-handed sword technique, which is also a treasured family heirloom,” Cleya recalled the past, her face brightening with a radiant smile.

“Although this sword technique is quite difficult to begin with, I believe that with your talent, it would not be too difficult to learn.”
