Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 137: Chapter 122: Faction Unlocked

As one of the largest money-burning pits in the Central Desert and even the Radiation Zone, Gao Gong has almost swept the Entertainment City’s sensory equipment clean, even cleaner than the cleaning aunties.

Faced with the security corps’ soldiers and their dark, ominous guns, none of these powerful nightclub bosses dared to oppose; anyone who complained could go argue with the Beast Tide.

And now, over two hundred electronic cities have sprung up, manifesting Petrol Town, the military supply warehouse, the Old Metal Recycling Station, and the Scavenger gathering grounds, all looking exactly the same to the naked eye.

The massive, boiling Beast Tide, like a galaxy pouring forth, suddenly split into hundreds of ’channels,’ rushing into various places.

A newborn B-level monster, the Rotten Robot’s massive foot stomped into Petrol Town, the thick walls crumbling like paper, and basketball-sized electronic eyes suddenly flared with a warning light. The next moment, two giant saw blades clashed together mercilessly, filling the air with brilliant sparks.

Ordinary combat robots cannot defeat the Rotten Robots; its engines, serrated saws, and handheld energy cannons are coated with a great deal of rotting flesh, acting like special biological plugins, boosting its performance by 200%, directly surpassing the limitations of a large mechanical body.

After dozens of clashes between the large saws, the Rotten Robot forced the opponent’s upper body to lean back, and the serrated saw suddenly sprouted countless buds, doubling its speed, viciously slicing into the chest of the large combat robot, tearing fluid pipes, spraying gasoline, exploding mechanical parts everywhere.

Four out of the ten power engines on the combat robot’s body shut off completely.

The Rotten Robot’s entire ’rotting plugins’ glowed an excited red, powering up fully, concentrating a massive amount of radiation energy into the handheld energy cannon, and resolutely blasting off the combat robot’s head.

However, just as the opponent’s power output decreased, three Bio-Fusioners suddenly appeared in mid-air, their bodies glowing brightly at at least ten energy outlets, unleashing their great move ’Shock Wave,’ enveloping the opponent in a violent storm, followed by countless fist shadows.

The strongest aspect of the Bio-Fusion armor is its ability to overload, known as ’Seed Burst.’

The essence of this ’Seed Burst’ is using the human body to endure the armor’s pressure, so every Bio-Fusioner is a carefully selected warrior.

After three major moves burst forth, they directly took away one-third of the opponent’s blood volume, especially with countless fist-sized cracks covering its outer shell.

The three Bio-Fusioners, gasping heavily, smashed to the ground, knee on the ground in a standard ’hero landing pose.’

The Bio-Fusion armor’s shortcoming compared to Mecha is its lack of endurance, unable to sustain full strikes as long as the energy doesn’t deplete, unlike Mecha.

Like all organisms, it needs time to recover output.

In the past, if they fought to this point, they would have to retreat, but now, someone is stepping in.

Ten conical bullets fired almost simultaneously, hitting the crimson electronic eye, predicting the robot’s evasion route.

Each of these ten shots dealt critical strike damage, instantly reducing the Rotten Robot by 8,000 blood points.

Three thousand meters away, Blind holding a ’Storm’ brand electromagnetic rifle with his trademark small round sunglasses, under which lay his electronic bee eye composed of 5,000 small eyes; unlike the biological warrior’s large eyeballs, his were even smaller than a normal person’s, just a slit.

An average modified warrior’s dynamic capture ability is 100 times that of a normal person, making them the best snipers.

Whereas Blind’s dynamic capture ability is 100 times that of a biological warrior, that’s to say 10,000 times that of a normal person.

Hence his visual organs are mostly closed because his optical nerves can’t support such consumption.

But when Lord Guan opens his eyes, it kills.

When Blind has bad eyesight, he can’t even find toilet paper, but when his eyesight is sharp, whoever he glares at will shake in fear.

In the next moment, the Rotten Robot’s knee was blasted open again; this was no ordinary critical strike but a ’tenfold critical strike.’

A mechanical leg blew apart directly.

In the next moment, two flaming whips shot out from the beast horde, entwining another mechanical leg after several twists in mid-air, and the terrifying flames climbed upward along the whips.

Old Ma often goes to the bathroom because he drinks gasoline, his stomach long since replaced by an energy storage organ of a flame-jetting beast.

Within the pillar of fire, Old Ma yanked fiercely, and the Rotten Robot crashed to the ground the next moment.

Taking this opportunity, Old Cha leaped into the air, and the millstone-sized mechanical axe viciously cleaved the robot’s head, splitting it from top to bottom, with countless brain components exploding, losing over 10,000 more blood points.

And around them, dozens of Gun Beasts had appeared at an unknown time; ordinary Gun Beasts usually have only one weapon, but each of these ’Gun Beasts’ had at least four firearms, either high-energy automatic rifles or radiation energy guns, large caliber, abundant power, with terrifying output.

Amidst the terrifying firepower, this B-level robot finally had its engine die out and was completely destroyed.

Meanwhile, those three Bio-Fusioners and three Old Hunters disappeared into the boundless Beast Tide.

...

On the other side, a Vomiting Giant with over a million blood volume was spreading forward, like a mountain of flesh, drowning everything in its path, devouring everything.

However, behind it, a tank-thick vein was like a hollow parasite, with one end inside and the other outside, spraying thick blood plasma along it.

This gigantic creature with blood volume surpassing an A-level Radiation Beast, after an hour of mad bleeding, was unbelievably exhausted to death.

This was something unimaginable to everyone.

Then, the vein on the corpse shook and fell to the ground.

The vein slowly wriggled and eventually transformed into a middle-aged man with a pale face, whose steps wobbled but luckily was supported by a biological soldier.

”Are you... okay?” Luo Dayou looked at the man with a shocked expression, as if saying, although I don’t understand, I am utterly amazed.

Old Xie rubbed his stomach, replying irritably, ”If you had diarrhea for an hour, could you handle it?”

”Do you... need to rest?”

”No, just support me to the next place; I can still pull!”

...

The frontal battlefield uses fewer to lead many, while the local battlefield uses more against fewer.

That is the core of the Wild Hunt Operation.

Unlike the Mechanical Hunters, every B-level Radiation Beast is a gigantic monster, their movements impossible to hide.

Humans at most are considered small Radiation Beasts. Under the cover of ’Electronic City’s’ light pollution and sound effects, they blend into the beast horde and disappear.

Moreover, Gao Gong had already marked these people with his Radiation Field, allowing them to avoid most Radiation Beast attacks.

After all, Radiation Beasts come in all shapes and sizes, and looking like a human form is not strange; Radiation Corpses are in human form as well.

As the High Engineer, Gao Gong’s focus is no longer limited to any specific battlefield; he needs to have an overview of the entire situation.

The sky also began to gradually whiten.

This isn’t daytime arriving, but rather, the battlefield perfectly suited for A-level Radiation Beasts is already in preparation.

Once fully prepared, for the Crimson Empress, any place can become a Radiation Circle.

’Beep beep beep——’

’So the Knight Order will take action, which is not surprising.’

’What truly surprises me is that I thought we had to wait for players to arrive to open system camps, but it turns out NPC templates can open camps without needing players. How impressive.’

Players feel very superior, after all, they are the 4th Celestial Calamity.

But now it seems, whether in the past life or present life, with or without them, it doesn’t appear to make much difference.

Compared to the three major Celestial Calamities, this 4th Celestial Calamity seems a bit lackluster.

Could it be that the true role of the 4th Celestial Calamity has yet to be discovered?

This thought flashed briefly in Gao Gong’s mind, the next moment, ’Bullet Time’ instinctively triggered, and Gao Gong’s reflexes suddenly accelerated a hundredfold. He observed the expansion and contraction of the pores on his arm, the ’floating’ water drops not far away, and the radiation beams stretching into long lines.

His thighs and head flickered rapidly, moving at speeds hard for the naked eye to detect.

Almost simultaneously, a burst of red light flashed and disappeared on Gao Gong’s ’body,’ accompanied by a terrifying explosion sound, creating two mushroom clouds on the ground.

”Damn, A-level Radiation Beasts play dirty with sneak attacks!”

”Even your hand-thrown spear is faster than a tracing missile, does your husband know how fast your hand speed is?”

”Oh, he probably knows, otherwise, why is he called the Duke of Fission? Already fissioned, really pathetic.”

The red light exuding from Gao Gong’s body blocked the black light pressing in from all around.

Clearly, Gao Gong has been targeted.

However, in Gao Gong’s vision, a unique Hunter’s Mark also lit up.

’Pheromone Marking’ doesn’t necessarily have to aim at the main body, as long as there’s a presence of the opponent’s aura, such as the energy spear just flown past, it can be marked.

But this mark didn’t move. It seems that like Gao Gong, the Crimson Empress is also observing the situation on the field and deploying forces as needed.

’If I were the opponent, I would send someone to assassinate now, even if unsuccessful, it would greatly disturb the enemy commander’s thoughts.’

The radiation level began to rise, and thick radiation transformed into two giant cocoons, one behind the other. The cocoons turned from black to white, and the next moment, terrifying lightning flashed from behind, while in front, a dozen bird heads as thick as water barrels descended from the dark clouds.

Sky Giant Beast: Ionizing Radiation Bird

Sky Giant Beast: Multi-headed King Ghidorah.

”Coming out so intense right away, really taking me as the nosy neighbor.”

Gao Gong murmured to himself.

”We really do have such a tacit connection.”
