Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 119: Chapter 106: Slaughter Hunter (Part 1)

”Hahaha, this time the perverted advisor will definitely praise me to death when he sees my performance!”

When Huang Yuanli brought the reinforcements to the ’Wilder Motel’, she boastfully bragged to her companions.

For nothing else, when they left, there were only ten of them, but when they returned, they brought back four hundred tribal warriors.

Although these warriors couldn’t match the modified Mechanical Hunters, they had endured radiation stimulation for years and experienced certain degrees of mutation. Their strength, agility, endurance, perception, and intelligence were several times that of ordinary people in some or even three aspects.

More importantly, through their careful selection, there were as many as one hundred spiritual enhancers among these individuals, whose perception exceeded 10.

With these people, their army of Mechanical Beasts was no longer a chaotic mess.

A certain tribal warrior shamelessly flattered, ”Of course Sister Li is amazing, only Sister Li could get along so well with those old geezers in the Elder Council.”

”Wahahahahaha.”

Swordsmen Tamil cast a sidelong glance at the two, sneering coldly, ”If it weren’t for the boss allowing us to demonstrate beast-taming technology and promising to share this technology with them, do you think those old guys at the Horse Field would be so easy to talk to?”

”If Sister Li didn’t personally demonstrate, taming a small tribe of mechanical beasts by herself, do you think they would believe it?”

Swordsmen Tamil looked dangerously at the other, with the warrior not yielding either.

Cowboy Apu rushed forward on a Plasma Horse, glanced curiously at the two, and said, ”We need to quickly arrange for these brothers to adapt to the Mechanical Beasts; these beasts are very different from those horses and are much harder to handle.”

The reason the Horse Field tribe could rival the Mechanical Hunters was not only because of their numbers and unity but also because they possessed the ability to tame beasts.

However, this beast taming did not refer to Radiation Beasts but to ordinary beasts carrying a trace of Radiation Beast bloodline.

Although this type of beast was not mainstream, in terms of quantity, they were not scarce in the desert. According to the people of the Horse Field, these were atavistic beasts.

”Finally, we’re almost there, I’m exhausted.”

The little woman stretched lazily. To quickly recruit soldiers for battle, she had ridden a tall horse for several days, and her behind was sore.

”Huh——”

Huang Yuanli suddenly sensed a burst of irritable Mechanical Beast emotion. Although this emotion flickered quickly, it still put her on alert.

Apu noticed and quickly waved his whip. The four hundred-member troop obeyed orders quietly and silently.

A moment later, a petite figure riding an Electric Reindeer appeared before everyone.

”Is it Sister Yuanli?”

”Momo, you guys are back too,” seeing the familiar little girl, Huang Yuanli let out a small sigh of relief.

Momo was the Three-Eyed girl who was almost frightened to tears by Gao Gong long ago, but now she was a junior manager in the tribe.

She and Huang Yuanli acted separately, she was in charge of bringing back the ’herding’ Mechanical Beasts, while Huang Yuanli went to recruit people.

The speed of the Mechanical Beasts was comparable to most vehicles, so she was faster.

”Has nothing happened in the tribe?” Huang Yuanli quickly asked.

Momo was stunned, ”No, everything and everyone is fine. Brother Meng is even very happy because he installed new biological exoskeletons.”

Huang Yuanli’s spirits were lifted as she said, ”What?! Meng Duoduo even grew legs again, that’s awesome, I’m going to find him!”

”Go later, Professor Han is still waiting for you to report on your work.”

”That brain monster, humph, now I am the Great Elder! He should be more courteous, otherwise, I’ll throw all the unwanted old widows in the tribe at him.”

Huang Yuanli grumbled a few words but obediently followed behind Momo.

The once empty surroundings of the motel were now occupied by huge Mechanical Beasts, lounging lazily on the ground, letting the little tribe girls feed and groom them.

This was commonplace for the people of the Cable Tribe, but for the four hundred newcomers, it was quite astounding.

The fierce-looking Mechanical Cheetahs, the Rhinoceros with giant drill horns, and the Air Cannon Elephants two stories high, these massive beasts that the tribal elders used to repeatedly warn about avoiding were now here in the hundreds.

The unique beast taming skill of the Cable Tribe, combined with the ’Tightening Ring’, and complementing the Beast Tide’s gift, these together gave birth to this unique Mechanical Beast army.

...

Huang Yuanli was undoubtedly a core member of the new force.

If Daisila represented the Mechanical Hunters, then she was the representative of the Scavenger Tribe.

She could gradually sense this difference, for instance, she could pass unimpeded through highly confidential places, and a word from her could influence one’s career.

She might not necessarily like this feeling, but she wouldn’t pretentiously claim to hate it, though she understood she was no longer the same as before.

She had grown up.

Even when encountering Old Han, who nearly killed her, she could calmly recount her experiences on the way.

Among the four hundred people recruited, she could state each person’s name, character, and hobby.

Professor Han said, ”I will have people train them, but it’s not enough. You need to make them settle, not let their hearts lean towards their original tribes. There must be spies from other tribes, make good use of your abilities, and when necessary, send them away...”

Huang Yuanli listened in silence, and after a moment, she said, ”I will conquer them in my own way. No one would refuse an emerging power, but equally, no one would die for a cold and cruel tribe.”

Professor Han gave her a deep look, lowered his head, and got into work mode. In front of him, there were many reagents placed.

Huang Yuanli pouted, walked directly outside, and looked around. Guided by mind communication, she located the source of the ’irritable’ emotion.

In the direction of the motel’s back door was a large flat-roofed building with a sign hanging at the entrance, ’Little Wilder Body Transformation Workshop’.

Huang Yuanli had barely taken a few steps before a dozen soldiers mysteriously appeared, blocking her way, looking at her expressionlessly.

”Who are you? Why have I never seen you before?”

Huang Yuanli took a step back and asked alertly.

Many parts of these soldiers are implanted bio-weapons; it’s either spiked arms or barbed bodies, complementing their cold demeanor, making them human-shaped killing machines.

Filled with danger.

”You must be Clan Leader Huang, please follow me inside.”

A female soldier suddenly appeared, waved her hand, and these people voluntarily made way.

”My name is Sunx Hong, head of the Biological Unit,” Sunx Hong’s rigid face forced out a slight smile.

Biological Unit, a flash of intuition hit Huang Yuanli, blurting out: ”You are the Biological Transformated Warriors from the Security Corps!”

Sunx Hong remained silent.

”Weren’t you guys sick? Did the Perverted Consultant cure you? Although it seems like it didn’t really work——”

”The General indeed helped us solve the rejection problem,” Sunx Hong paused, then said, ”However, even if the rejection is cured, not everyone can retain their original consciousness.”

Huang Yuanli clicked his tongue and didn’t speak further, looking around, suddenly exclaimed, ”Who is she?”

At the window of the Prosthetic Body Workshop, a red-haired tomboy was intently hanging onto the window, her ten fingers modified metal fingers, reflecting gleams under the light.

Her hairstyle was very much like the old Daisila, a standard Mohican style, except her hair was thicker, standing up like a porcupine.

Sunx Hong glanced at her, ”Helli Wild, Old Wilder’s daughter, owner of this Prosthetic Body Workshop.”

”Oh.”

Huang Yuanli walked inside and found many familiar faces, Old Qian, Meng Duoduo, Aunt Xiang, almost all the Old Hunters were here.

Seeing Huang Yuanli, Meng Duoduo’s eyes lit up and he quickly waved.

Looking at the arm that seemed freshly cut from a Radiation Beast, Huang Yuanli’s mouth gaped wide open.

Is this an arm? Isn’t this a standard Radiation Beast claw? Yellow sharp claws, green scales, with huge bulging veins.

Where is my original Meng Duoduo, the non-perverted Meng Duoduo?

However, when he looked at Gao Gong not far away, he was even more dumbfounded. Gao Gong was sitting on an Air Cannon Elephant, adjusting something with a surgical arm.

This Air Cannon Elephant no longer resembled an ’Air Cannon Elephant’ at all!

It is well known that the ’Air Cannon Elephant’ is renowned for its strong attack power but slow movement, and it is a rare vegetarian. It doesn’t eat the flesh of its kind, instead opting for various metal scraps.

In the Mechanical Beasts, it is considered a standard well-behaved entity.

But now, the ’Air Cannon Elephant’s’ four feet were replaced by mechanical tracks, its body is covered with thick white bone armor, and on its back, there are four heavy machine guns.

’Mas Sharpness’ brand heavy machine guns, with five intelligent modules, the only downside is that it turns normal people into cyber psychosis patients, just like Black God’s model.

And under the verbal command of a little girl from the Cable Tribe, the four heavy machine guns flexibly rotated, completely becoming part of the Air Cannon Elephant.

The most important thing is, he turned an ordinary heavyweight Radiation Beast into a mobile monster comparable to a heavy armored vehicle.

Gao Gong finished the last suture work with his surgical arm, looked up, and said with a slight surprise, ”Little Woman, you’re back.”

Only then did everyone realize Huang Yuanli’s return, and greeted her warmly.

Huang Yuanli paused for a moment and asked, ”What’s going on here?”

”To put it simply, it’s about installing various problematic weapons onto Mechanical Beasts.”

”Problematic for humans, but the weapon users aren’t human, so it’s fine.”

Gao Gong spoke a shocking theory, but everyone present agreed.

”Some weapons indeed aren’t suitable for human use, but they’re better for Mechanical Beasts, solving the rejection issue.”

”Updating all Mechanical Beasts could definitely increase combat power by tenfold, not even inferior to the Security Corps’ armored forces.”

”It should have been done long ago. Installing radiation weapons on Radiation Beasts eliminates concerns about radiation.”

”Meow, meow, meow~~”

Huang Yuanli looked around and suddenly realized how out of place she seemed as a normal person.

Old Han just doesn’t care about being human, yet never expected the Perverted Consultant wouldn’t spare even the beasts.

Everyone is a pervert, but why is your level of perversion always a notch higher.
