Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 128: Chapter 115: Iron Rooster vs. Centipede

Two terrifying black tides collided with each other, each wave higher than the last, emitting the sound of a Level 6 storm.

With the blessing of the beast tide, Gao Gong’s radiation field had completely metamorphosed, turning into the black that only a B-level Radiation Beast possesses. At this moment, he was confronting his newly found opponent, this Centipede General, for domain supremacy.

In battles between B-level Radiation Beasts, whoever’s domain could overshadow the other’s would gain the upper hand.

Radiation General (Mechanical Template):

Effect 1: Control the radiation field

Effect 2: High-temperature radiation

Effect 3: ??

Most radiation beasts at B-level would develop their own kin and affiliates, while the Centipede General is among the few Lone Wolf-type B-level Mechanical Beasts, and the reason for its solitary nature is quite simple.

By itself, it’s a thousand-strong army!

Gao Gong came all the way here not to take it on in a one-on-one duel, in fact, using underlings is the battle style for most B-level Beasts.

Soon, these frontline Mechanical Hunters experienced the terrifying aspects of a B-level monster.

Gunfire erupted almost instantly upon engagement, and in terms of firepower, the Mechanical Hunters were directly suppressed, unable to lift their heads.

It seemed as if they were not facing a single beast, but an entire army.

In the midst of the hail of bullets, Sunx Tu mounted a Parachute Type Heavy Machine Gun, with two gun mounts popping out below immediately, while an intelligent module lit up, firing wildly through the gaps in the trees. He enhanced his weapon system, and ever since installing the ’Automatic Calibration’ intelligent plugin, his accuracy had been on another level.

However, in just twenty seconds, this heavy metal fanatic, whose transformation rivaled that of Black God, stumbled, rolling into a large pit nearby, with his heavy armor components covered in at least thirty bullet holes.

Not far from him, an even louder explosion occurred when a grenade launcher descended from the sky, sending out terrifying flames.

A hapless fellow scrambled out from the fiery aftermath, cursing loudly.

”Xiao Leng, where are your smoke bombs!”

The next moment, over a dozen radiation shielding bombs were tossed from all directions, and soon thick white smoke covered an area several miles wide.

Almost simultaneously, the centipede opened its mouth, spraying out thick toxic smoke. The white fog, dense enough to block radiation rays, was blasted open immediately by this poisonous smoke.

”Be careful, it’s a biological toxin!”

Two Mechanical Hunters approached the Centipede General from left and right.

The Plasma Horse’s speed surpassed that of most motor vehicles, and with its energy pipelines lighting up, it seemed to gain even more speed.

The next moment, Apu swung his arm forcefully, an explosion sounded, and a noose made of a single-molecule rope shot out a thousand meters from his modified three-dimensional maneuvering device, grabbing one of the Centipede’s mechanical legs.

On the other side, another hunter from the Horse Field swung both arms, launching two arms which transformed mid-air into two traps, clamping onto the centipede’s two front limbs. Simultaneously, three single-molecule ropes shot out from the mechanical clamps and tethered to three large trees.

The two control-tactic Mechanical Hunters together finally managed to restrain this thousand-meter long monster.

The centipede’s body was like a stretched-out running track.

”Nicely done!”

A gun-cannon style Mechanical Hunter whistled.

This Mechanical Hunter was dressed like a pilot, wearing a helmet, camouflage clothing, and carrying a bulky mechanical box on his back. As he spoke, the box opened, revealing a 4*4 missile launcher. As he pressed buttons in his hand, ’swoosh’ sounds echoed continuously.

Then came flames and explosions that could cover a city block.

Interestingly, each Oasis Hunter had a different style. For instance, Automobile City emphasized teamwork, New Port City was about heavy mechanical enhancement, Horse Field Hunters excelled in control tactics, and Entertainment City—the less said the better for minors.

Almost at the same time, Sunx Tu once again set up his heavy machine gun, shell casings spilling incessantly, as six gun barrels spewed fire incessantly.

The close-combat Hunters, Swordsmen Tamil, White Bone, Cold Blood, and Crawler, who had been suppressed before, appeared before the Centipede General simultaneously.

Tamil closed his eyes, entering a state similar to ’Bright Mirror Stilled Water.’ In the next moment, two blood blades followed the gaps in the centipede armor, continuously slicing through. Out of the more than ten slashes he made, at least half caused bleeding and tearing damage.

Though his sword skill was proclaimed as ’Beast Mimicry Blade Skill,’ in this state, it was as if he was cutting up an ox, skill approaching the Dao. This guy’s Swordsmanship had clearly touched the edge of ’Expert.’

Other hunters had similar secret techniques, whose power generally surpassed ordinary firearm weapons, belonging to standard ’Mechanical Hunting Transformation,’ with attribute enhancements.
