Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 162: Chapter 130: Creamy Smoothie

That’s the cream milkshake!

Just in time, we have the full set of machines and ingredients at home.

MooMoo Fresh Milk, Gogoat’s milk, Alcremie’s cream, Berries...

The machine is a brand-new multifunctional juicer, which he bought from the town just yesterday, initially intending to make Berry Juice for the Pokemon to drink, but unexpectedly, it found its use here.

Thinking of this, Naoki turned around and returned to his room.

He opened the refrigerator and took out a can of milk and a few Berries.

But there were no ice cubes in the fridge. After thinking for a moment, Naoki found the Glaceon outside and asked it for some ice cubes.

”Vee?”

Glaceon looked a bit puzzled, but still used its Ice Type Energy to condense an ice chunk and handed it to him.

”You’ll see later.” Naoki winked mysteriously at Glaceon.

Glaceon was even more confused: ”Vee?”

Naoki didn’t explain and instead returned to his room the way he came.

He put the prepared MooMoo Fresh Milk, white sugar, ice cubes, and a Berry called Yache Berry into the juicer, turned it on, and began making the milkshake.

As the machine spun rapidly, the ice cubes were crushed, beginning to gradually merge with the Yache Berry and milk.

Yache Berry is a blue Berry, with a very unique taste. The resulting milkshake had a sky-blue color.

Next, Naoki began preparing the cream.

He called over Alcremie.

Upon hearing that Naoki needed help making a dessert, Alcremie rushed over to help make a big bowl of light cream.

”It’s almost ready,” Naoki said.

With a ding, the machine stopped, and Naoki unplugged it, pouring the milkshake into several prepared transparent glass cups.

Looking at Alcremie’s cream, as white as a cloud, then at the sky-blue milkshake, an image suddenly appeared in his mind.

——Clear blue skies with fluffy white clouds floating, creating a leisurely and tranquil feeling.

Got it!

Naoki didn’t follow the original process of pouring all the milkshake into the cups in one go; instead, he poured a layer of milkshake first, then added a dollop of cream, repeating until the glasses were filled.

From the outside, it looked as if fluffy white clouds were floating in the blue sky.

Naoki mentally named it ”Cloud Milkshake” and finished it by swirling the cream into a spiral shape as a topping, then decorating it with a fresh red Cheri Berry.

Thus, a visually and flavorfully delightful cream milkshake was completed.

Alcremie, watching the cup of Cloud Milkshake from the side, showed admiration in its eyes: ”Ma-ma!” Truly Naoki, how amazing! Just like real clouds!

”It’s done!”

Naoki grinned while looking down, and the information about the cream milkshake emerged in his mind.

[Cloud Milkshake (B+): A delicious dessert made with top-quality fresh milk, ice cubes made by Pokemon, Alcremie’s cream, and Berries.

Cooking Effect: Slightly increases an Ice Type Pokemon’s chance of learning Ice Type Moves after consumption.

Additional Effect: Slightly boosts an Ice Type Pokemon’s fondness.

Evaluation: A dessert that can make Pokemon feel happiness!]

Hiss!

Looking at the familiar description, a dish he once made suddenly came to Naoki’s mind.

That’s the Grassy Seed!

Grassy Seed slightly increases a Grass Type Pokemon’s chance of learning Grass Type Moves.

The originally ordinary Skiddos transformed into three Grass Saint Swordsmen after eating a large number of Grassy Seeds.

Naoki had always been trying to see if he could create a dish with similar effects but had yet to succeed.

But now...

Finally, it happened!

Just like the saying goes: effort doesn’t always lead to success, but sometimes goodness comes unexpectedly.

Coincidentally, there happens to be an Ice Type Pokemon at the ranch.

So, if Glaceon eats cream milkshakes every day, could it transform like the three Skiddos into an ”Ice God”?

With bootleg Grass Saint Swordsmen Gogoat and bootleg Thunder God Pawmo, it seems a bootleg Ice God is about to be born.

His ranch is truly a place of great talents!

Naoki felt excited and accelerated the speed of his hands.

Soon, a dozen cream milkshakes were all ready.

Naoki called for Cyclizar and Koraidon to help distribute them to everyone.

He himself took a cup to find Glaceon on the grass.

”Want to try?” Naoki placed the cup of cream milkshake in front of it.

”Vee...”

Glaceon stared blankly at the cream milkshake before it.

From a distance, it could already smell the sweet aroma emanating from it and sense that icy, cool scent.

Glaceon loved sweets, though no one knew about this preference.

It swallowed a bit secretly and then pretended to be calm and stood up, bending down to stick out its little pink tongue to gently lick the cool cream on top.

In an instant, Glaceon was captivated by the taste.

So delicious!

”Tasty, right?”

Seeing the usually cool Glaceon eating so happily, Naoki couldn’t help but smile a little.

Perhaps Glaceon has a liking for sweets? He quietly memorized this hobby of Glaceon’s in his heart.

Glaceon licked the entire cup of cream milkshake clean in one go.

Next up, the main event.

Naoki observed it and asked, ”Do you feel any changes in your body?”

”Vee?” Glaceon was a bit confused; it carefully sensed and lightly shook its head.

”It seems this cup of cream milkshake didn’t help Glaceon learn any Ice Type Moves,” Naoki thought.

However, he wasn’t in a rush. As long as Glaceon continues to eat the milkshakes, it will eventually learn more powerful Ice Type Moves.

Thinking of this, Naoki asked again, ”Want some more?”

”Vee...”

Glaceon wanted to eat more, but it felt a bit embarrassed, as it feared it would appear as a glutton in front of this human.

Seeing Glaceon’s hesitant expression, Naoki chuckled.

”Vee!”

Realizing its thoughts had been exposed, Glaceon’s face turned red, and it ran away in shame and indignation.

”This Glaceon’s personality is quite interesting,” thought Naoki.

At first glance, it seemed very aloof, but the more he interacted with it, the more he realized it wasn’t as cold as it appeared.

For instance, it liked flowers and often went to the edge of the flower fields to inhale the scent of the blossoms.

It also liked sweets, which is not at all a hobby one would expect from a seemingly cold and distant Pokemon.

Watching Glaceon’s back, Naoki realized this was a great opportunity to deepen his relationship with it.

Maybe if he made a few more cream milkshakes, he could freely cuddle with Glaceon!
