Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 156: Chapter 125: Ultra-Powerful Electric Cuisine! (Two Chapters Combined)

So it affectionately went forward and hugged Naoki in its arms.

”Alright, alright, Koraidon is still waiting for me!” Naoki laughed and patted its plump, soft paws.

Dragonite obediently stepped aside.

Naoki had already written Koraidon’s name in the notebook.

”It’s your turn!”

”Argh!”

Koraidon nodded and then began its demonstration.

”Sunny Day, Collision Course, Flamethrower, Breaking Swipe, Rock Smash, Ancient Power, Drain Punch, Dragon Claw, Dragon Tail, Sword Dance, Outrage, Agility, Quick Attack, Body Press... huh? Is that Growl or Roar?”

Watching Koraidon roaring on the spot, Naoki was initially unsure.

But when he saw Koraidon’s fierce aura from its roar blowing the grass, he knew the answer.

Ah, it’s a Roar!

Naoki noted these moves in his notebook, then nodded to Koraidon: ”Alright, that’s enough!”

”Argh~” Koraidon walked back to his side.

Naoki then looked up at the Pokemon who were still watching and waved at them: ”Everyone go and play!”

The Pokemon dispersed one after another.

Naoki sat under the eaves, flipping through his notebook while pondering how to help Cyclizar.

How about letting its ancient relative Koraidon teach it first?

Thinking of this, Naoki called over Koraidon and explained the situation.

After listening, Koraidon had a complex expression.

It looked over to Cyclizar, momentarily at a loss for words.

Naoki patted its shoulder: ”I’ll leave Cyclizar with you for the time being! You don’t have to do much, just teach it the moves you know and that are easy to learn!”

”Grr...” Hearing Naoki’s plan, Cyclizar looked timidly at Koraidon.

Koraidon: ”...”

”It’s settled then!” Naoki made the decision for them, then turned to Cyclizar and said, ”Don’t worry, Koraidon is a good Pokemon and won’t harm you!”

Cyclizar looked at Koraidon, who maintained a serious face as it gazed back at Cyclizar with its golden vertical pupils.

Then it sighed resignedly—this was a request from its favorite Naoki, what else could it do?

Watching Koraidon transform into a strict teacher, Naoki smiled and said, ”Alright, I need to start preparing dinner!”

With that, he turned back to the house to prepare food for everyone.

Tonight’s dinner was once again pan-fried pork chops.

Because Naoki found out that not only Dragonite, but Cyclizar and Koraidon also loved them.

Pan-fried pork chops, goat’s milk, Berry Juice, sandwiches, and occasionally a little dessert like Poffin or honey pudding—this was the daily food for the Pokemon.

After dinner, with the dough not yet fully risen, Naoki sat at his desk to check the recent financial situation.

In the past month or so, he hadn’t built any additional facilities on the farm, so the money saved was all put into the bank after purchasing ingredients.

Gogoat’s high-quality milk, Nacli’s Purifying Salt, and Miltank’s fresh milk.

One must admit, the resources of the Pokemon World are incredibly abundant, and thanks to these products, his savings had already reached over 900,000.

According to Naoki’s estimation, Miltank’s production could have been higher.

However, in practice, he found that a single Miltank didn’t actually produce 20 liters of milk per day.

Because they also drink their own milk, he couldn’t very well stop them from drinking it.

Moreover, with a large number of Pokemon on the farm, the demand for milk was tremendous, so the income from MooMoo Fresh Milk wasn’t as high as he had imagined.

But still, it was enough.

If he maintains this pace, he wouldn’t have to wait until autumn; by the second month of summer, he could expand his house.

This truly is a dreamy world!

In his previous life, he wouldn’t have dared to dream of buying a house within five months of work!

However, the goal of buying a villa was still quite distant.

By now, it was late outside.

All the Pokemon on the farm had returned to their nests.

And Naoki turned on the TV, listening to the news while humming a tune as he checked the dough’s fermentation progress in the kitchen.

Seeing it had almost risen enough, Naoki took the dough out, placed it on the counter, and began the next step.

—He divided the dough into equal portions, then rolled them into round, smooth buns.

Soon, twelve round, plump yellow buns were rolled out.

Their color was very different from typical buns, not white, but yellow.

Looking at this strange color, Naoki couldn’t help but worry, wondering if they were safe to eat.

The main component of bird feathers is protein; he wondered whether Zapdos’s feathers were the same.

Thinking this, Naoki placed the twelve buns in a steamer to cook.

He set an alarm and then went outside for a wash.

As the weather was getting hotter, daily work made him sweat a lot, and he couldn’t go a day without bathing.

But the farm still didn’t have a proper bath, so he could only rinse off with a tap on the grass outside the door.

After his shower, Naoki started to wash clothes.

Summer clothes were very thin and wouldn’t take too long to wash; soon the clothes were done, and Naoki hung them on the clothes rack beside the house to dry.
