Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 155: Chapter 125: Super-Powered Electric Cuisine! (Double Chapter)

The process of making baozi is not complicated, and since there was still a packet of yeast left at home, Naoki poured flour, sugar, and Zapdos feather powder into a bowl, and then added an appropriate amount of yeast powder.

There was still half a bottle of warm water in the kettle. Naoki poured it into a bowl, took a sip to ensure the temperature was suitable, and then began adding water to the bowl.

He added it while stirring with his hand, and when it seemed just right, he began kneading the dough formally.

Gradually, the dough solidified and formed. The originally pure white flour was dyed the color of lightning by the Zapdos feathers, feeling a bit prickly to the touch.

”Hmm, that should be about right! We can start fermenting now!”

Naoki observed the dough’s state, then took out a sheet of plastic wrap, covered it, and placed it on warm water to start fermenting.

The suitable temperature and sugar both helped the dough ferment.

Next, all there was to do was wait!

Naoki wondered what the baozi made with these ingredients would be like once steamed.

Speaking of baozi, the Pokemon World also has a special kind of baozi.

It’s the specialty of Mahogany Town in the Johto Region, the Rage Candy Bar.

Its effect is to heal all abnormal statuses of a Pokemon.

”I should take the opportunity to visit Mahogany Town and observe,”

After pondering for a moment, Naoki glanced at the time, saw it was already six o’clock, and started preparing dinner for the Pokemon.

When he turned around, he saw Cyclizar and Pawmi squatting on the floor, looking over at him.

”Just a moment, dinner will be ready shortly!” Naoki stepped forward and picked up little Pawmi, telling it happily, ”I’ve found a way to make you stronger!”

”Pawmi?!” Pawmi looked surprised and delighted upon hearing this.

Naoki rubbed faces with it and said with a smile, ”Just wait a little longer, it’ll be ready soon.”

”Pawmi~” Pawmi was extremely happy.

Cyclizar, sitting nearby, showed an envious expression: ”Gao...”

It thought about how everyone in the pasture was getting stronger: Dragonite, Gogoat, Nacli, Pawmi.

Before it knew it, it had fallen behind them.

Thinking of this, Cyclizar couldn’t help but show a hint of longing in its eyes.

”Gao!”

Naoki looked at it and asked, ”Do you also want to become stronger?”

Cyclizar nodded: ”Gao!”

”Of course!” Naoki said, ”Let me think of a way.”

Having said that, Cyclizar was actually his first Pokemon, and ever since he came to the farm, it had been helping with work diligently alongside him.

But now, he hadn’t yet created a dish that could enhance a Dragon Type Pokemon...

After thinking for a moment, Naoki decided to take the opportunity while the dough was fermenting to better understand the few Pokemon around him.

He took a pen and paper from the drawer and wrote down the name of each Pokemon on the farm, then listed a table next to their names.

This included preferred foods, temperament, hobbies, and mastered moves.

Take Dragonite, for instance, its table looked like this.

Name: Dragonite.

Temperament: Gentle and silly.

Hobbies: Enjoys training and diligently practicing its mastered moves.

Favorite foods: Aromatic Baofen, Pan-Fried Pork Chops, Grilled Fish, Steamed Sea Bass, Oran Berry.

Mastered Moves: Wing Attack, Leer, Twister, Dragon Rage, Dragon Tail, Agility, Extreme Speed, Dragon Dance, Rain Dance, Hurricane, Thunder Punch, Thunderbolt.

This way, as more and more Pokemon join the farm, he won’t get them mixed up.

With this thought, Naoki called the two Pokemon who wanted to become stronger, Cyclizar and Pawmi, outside to demonstrate their mastered moves.

The two Pokemon exchanged a glance, and then little Pawmi took the lead in the demonstration.

Naoki watched its figure running on the grass, softly chanting the names of the moves.

”Scratch, Growl, Thunder Shock, Quick Attack, Nuzzle... huh? Is that Wish? It must be an inherited move handed down from Pawmi’s parents.”

Pawmi didn’t know many moves, and most were very basic, so Naoki noted them in his notebook and said, ”That’s good, Cyclizar, your turn!”

”Gao~” Cyclizar also began its demonstration.

This scene attracted many Pokemon on the farm, with Alcremie, the four Nacli and a Naclstack, Butterfree, Glaceon, and the Miltank grazing outside all standing nearby to watch.

Naoki looked around and realized that quite a few of them were present, so he didn’t need to call them over.

Then, he focused his attention on Cyclizar.

”Tackle, Growl, Rapid Spin, Dragon Tail, Breaking Swipe, Quick Attack... hmm, not too bad.” After all, Cyclizar wasn’t even a year old yet.

Naoki nodded at it: ”I understand, I’ll think of a way to help you later.”

Cyclizar was very happy.

Next up!

Naoki turned his gaze towards the other watching Pokemon.

Understanding what Naoki was doing, Alcremie immediately ran up front to start her performance.

The Nacli and Naclstack quickly followed.

Next were Butterfree, Combee, Glaceon, the three Miltank, Gogoat, and Smoliv, all watching from nearby.

Dragonite also wanted to join in, but Naoki refused.

He told Dragonite, ”I’ve been following your training closely; no one knows your moves better than I do.”

After thinking about it for a moment, Dragonite realized this was certainly the case.

No one understood it better than Naoki.
