His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2343: Chapter 674: Ten Thousand Miles to Chase His Wife (Part 6)

Qin Mu held the cigarette between two fingers and took a drag without any disdain, immediately feeling much more refreshed.

Mu Yichen sat down beside her, watching her smoke like an addict before raising a hand to take the cigarette from her.

Qin Mu turned to him, unhappy: ”So stingy?”

Mu Yichen originally intended to smoke but suddenly lost his breath upon hearing that and extinguished the cigarette between his fingers. With his other hand, he pulled her into his embrace, holding her tightly.

At first, Qin Mu struggled but gradually calmed down as she felt his strong heartbeat, allowing him to hold her.

Later, somehow, the two fell asleep on the sofa, covered by the same blanket.

——

In the morning, the indoor temperature was just right, while outside, it was very cold.

On this February morning, firecracker sounds could surprisingly be heard in the city. Qin Mu slowly woke up, feeling warm all around, reluctant to leave the warmth she felt.

Mu Yichen groaned a bit in discomfort, and Qin Mu’s eyes slowly opened, seeing the man in front of her, his chest, his robe slightly open, as she lay on top of his bare chest.

Qin Mu instinctively pushed away, and with a slight push of her hand, Mu Yichen rolled off, falling onto the carpet outside of the sofa.

”Ah! Mrs. Mu!”

Mu Yichen gritted his teeth, calling her, as if he was extremely annoyed by her habit of pushing him.

”I didn’t mean to! Just, why are you? Here?”

Qin Mu’s mind suddenly blanked out, leaning over slightly, seeing the man lying on the ground, rubbing his behind.

His chest was still partly exposed, quite alluring.

Qin Mu couldn’t help but avert her eyes, her face flushed.

Seeing her expression, Mu Yichen forgave her for pushing him. As he got up, he held onto the blanket, glanced at her, thinking that he still had some influence over her.

Qin Mu snatched the blanket from his hand: ”Just for a cigarette, why squeeze onto the sofa with me?”

”Still talking about it? Next time you smoke, it won’t be the sofa I’m squeezing with you.”

”Then what will you squeeze?”

”You!”

Qin Mu...

”Pervert!”

Mu Yichen turned and walked away, as Qin Mu muttered behind him.

Mu Yichen wasn’t angry; instead, he seemed quite pleased as he headed to the bathroom.

In the morning, they brushed their teeth, washed their faces, and looked at each other in the mirror together.

That feeling! It’s been a while!

Qin Mu felt a little uneasy, lowered her gaze, and used her electric toothbrush to scrub her teeth forcefully.

Unbeknownst to her, Mu Yichen was already behind her, quietly.

Qin Mu already felt something was off when he pressed against her.

”Don’t move! We used to do this often!”

Qin Mu’s mouth was still full of the toothbrush, but helplessly, her hands were already supporting the sink.

Just because they used to do this often, does that mean it’s okay now?

Qin Mu wanted to speak, to question, but with the toothbrush in her mouth, she couldn’t say anything, and Mu stood with one hand around her waist, casually picking up a cup with his toothbrush hand and rinsing his mouth before tossing the toothbrush aside, then securing her with both hands.

Beast!

Beast!

Beast!

Qin Mu cursed him countless times in her heart.

Hearing Chengcheng mumbling outside, she paled with fear, not daring to move, while Mu Yichen leaned forward against her back, also not moving.

”How strange, mom and dad are both gone!”

”Let’s go find them!”

Chengcheng walked out of the room, with Huanhuan responding at the door, leading him downstairs.

Both Qin Mu and Mu Yichen sighed in relief at the same time, but Mu Yichen had already started.

While Qin Mu’s ears turned crimson in embarrassment.

”Open that drawer next to you!”

”What for?”

Qin Mu finally managed to take the toothbrush out with one hand and asked him, annoyed.

”Do you really want to get pregnant?”

Mu Yichen queried.

Qin Mu immediately leaned over to open the drawer, finding a condom inside as expected.

Ha!

For some reason, Qin Mu felt like every corner of their room where things could be kept, he had stored this stuff.

”Tear it open!”

Following Mu’s gentle command, Qin Mu forcefully tore open the package and handed it to him.

Mu Yichen took it, chuckling at the woman with the flushed face in the mirror, smugly saying to her: ”We’ll use it later, you hold onto it first!”

Qin Mu...

——

Breakfast wasn’t that enjoyable for Qin Mu that day.

Over the next half month, Chen Xiaoyi came daily to accompany Feng Fanghua, but later ended up chatting with Qin Mu, while Lun Yun never returned, having been found by Gongzhi Ping’an.
