His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2321: Chapter 669: Chasing His Wife Across Ten Thousand Miles (1) – Taming

Mu Yichen always smiled at her gently, yet suddenly turned so cold.

”If you don’t obey, I’ll have to try something new.”

He somehow produced a scarf, and Qin Mu looked at him in disbelief. He dangled the scarf in front of her eyes: ”Something we tried before, very exciting.”

Qin Mu thought, is he going to cover her eyes? Then...

The more Qin Mu thought about it, the more terrified she became, and her hair stood on end.

But Mu Yichen tied the white scarf behind his own head, covering his eyes.

Qin Mu breathed a sigh of relief, thinking if this isn’t the best time to escape, there might never be another chance.

But before her legs could break free, she was already pinned down.

”Foolish woman, you think I can’t catch you just because I can’t see?”

Qin Mu...

”This is just to help you relax, hmm?”

Mu Yichen touched her chin and gently patted her face.

Qin Mu didn’t dare take a deep breath, wanting to kick his crotch, but he always found a way to restrain her, preventing her from moving wildly.

While Mu Yichen was feeling her body more deeply, Qin Mu was on the verge of collapse.

Qin Mu felt he wasn’t doing this to make her relax, but to show her that even blindfolded, he could find every sensitive spot on her body, ha ha, Mu Yichen.

——

The next morning Qin Mu went to Tan Yiwen’s office, but Tan Yiwen wasn’t there. His assistant poured her a cup of coffee, which Qin Mu couldn’t drink, but she sat there for a while anyway.

The more she thought about it, the more her head hurt. With all the messing around with Mu Yichen and Tan Yiwen being so busy, Qin Mu thought Tan Yiwen had become a busy person too. Feeling the warmth of her fingers through her hair, she tightly held her head, almost suffocating from the tedium.

Near noon, she went to the studio, hired a cleaning company to help with the cleaning, first having them clean up the office. When others were cleaning, she started working in the office herself.

This marriage isn’t ending, it seems she doesn’t need to leave.

It’ll take a while to replace her documents, so for now, she’ll work here.

Now she truly felt like a wandering soul, though staying at Qin Mingzhu’s place, it never felt like her own home, unfit for a long stay. So next, should she return here to live?

Going round and round, she still preferred her own territory.

Qin Mu started designing menswear again, unconsciously, Mu Yichen’s face floated into her mind, using his figure as a model. His figure, wasn’t it something she could master the subtleties of with her eyes closed?

After sharing a bed for so many years, they truly knew each other inside and out!

Nearing eleven, the leader of the cleaning team went upstairs to knock on her door, Qin Mu was so absorbed in her work she didn’t hear the knocking.

”Boss, the cleaning is done, do you want to come down and check?”

Qin Mu snapped out of it, looked at the door, with sleeve protectors in her hand, and slightly leaned forward on her shoulders, smiling at the middle-aged woman speaking to her: ”No need, I’ll pay you!”

She said, getting up to retrieve her bag from the sofa, took out a few bills of RMB, and turned to hand them over.

”I left in a hurry today, didn’t bring change, how about I transfer the money to you via WeChat?”

The middle-aged woman was a bit embarrassed, but still smiled politely.

”No need, consider the extra for tea!”

Qin Mu smiled, thinking it wasn’t much money anyway.

”Thank you then. We’ll be off now, call us next time you need anything, we’ll give you a discount.”

The middle-aged woman chatted politely with her, thinking she didn’t say much but was quite nice.

”Hmm!”

Qin Mu nodded slightly.

After the middle-aged woman went downstairs and left with her crew, Qin Mu stood at the office window, watching them drive away in an old van, then contentedly watched the scenic landscape of the lake and mountains in front of her.

At noon, she donned a coat and went to a nearby restaurant. After the studio staff left, it became a bit deserted here. The owner was dozing, only opening his eyes when the animal at the shop’s entrance welcomed her enthusiastically.

”Miss Qin!”

The owner was clearly excited, thinking he was dreaming, then joyfully came out from behind the cash register to greet her.

”Long time no see, how have you been?”

Qin Mu made small talk with him.

”I’m good!”

This was an automatic response, but after saying it, the owner suddenly felt a bit sad, smiling with a hint of bitterness: ”Honestly, it’s been tough since your studio staff left. Are you back now?”
