His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2091: Chapter 595: Uneasy (6)

Couldn’t help laughing at herself, how could she be so useless, whether she’s at home or not, she wouldn’t run away, and at night she’d still obediently lie on his bed?

When Mu Yichen returned home, the housekeeper was just about to go out to clean and greeted him: ”Young Master is back!”

”Hmm! Is the Young Madam home?”

Mu Yichen nodded, slowing his steps.

”Yes, she is!”

Mu Yichen’s steps immediately became lighter, and under the housekeeper’s gaze, he strode toward the stairs.

She’s in!

She’s in!

Mu Yichen’s mood suddenly improved tremendously, and he strode up the stairs.

When he reached the bedroom door, he pushed it open and saw the person sleeping on the bed, and his restless heart finally calmed down. He gently closed the door and then walked towards the bed.

She’s sleeping so soundly!

It made him worry she went off somewhere without telling him again.

His slender fingers gently caressed her face, and looking at her, his eyes were filled with indulgent affection.

Qin Mu felt a hand on her face, gradually woke up, and groggily opened her eyes to see him.

”Why are you back? Is it already late?”

Qin Mu’s voice was a bit hoarse from sleep, and she felt a bit weak as she sat up in bed.

Mu Yichen hugged her: ”It’s still early. I just texted you on WeChat, and you didn’t reply, so I rushed back to find you.”

”You fool, if I didn’t reply to your WeChat, it must mean I didn’t see it. You could have called, why rush back so urgently? Even if you can leave work, you must have driven fast.”

”Every intersection requires stopping; no way to speed even if I wanted to!”

Mu Yichen spoke softly to her, his black eyes gazing at her gently from under his long eyelashes. She was concerned about him. Ah, this feeling is really nice.

Qin Mu nestled against him. Waking up to see him was a good feeling, though thinking of his worry made her a bit uneasy.

”Don’t always rush back so impulsively looking for me, okay?”

She looked up, her gentle gaze fixed on him, advising.

”Well, I can’t control myself unless you wait for my call every single second.”

Mu Yichen suppressed a smile and spoke softly to her.

”You’re something else!”

Qin Mu sighed helplessly, yet she raised her hand to touch his face: ”Since you’re back, just lie down with me a bit, I feel a bit weak.”

”Okay!”

Mu Yichen agreed softly, as it was the thing he loved doing most.

”Was it hard to keep the two old men company?”

Mu Yichen spoke with her.

”What’s so hard about it? Listening to their past stories is rather nice. It’s just... it might rain soon; every time it rains lately, I feel a bit unwell, or perhaps it’s because the weather’s cold?”

Qin Mu chatted with him softly, almost mentioning Gongzhi Ping’an, but after some thought, decided not to tell him something so small.

”Tomorrow I’ll accompany you to see the Chinese doctor again. If the old problem recurs, we’ll get some traditional medicine.”

”Traditional medicine is so bitter. I’ll just wear more clothes, and you’ll massage me more when you have time.”

Qin Mu spoke, couldn’t help but laugh, thinking her plan was quite nice.

”Sure, though my favorite is helping you take a bath.”

Mu Yichen teased by her ear.

Qin Mu felt dizzy from his warm breath around her ear, couldn’t help but pinch him: ”Don’t be so improper.”

”I’m serious today; Mrs. Mu isn’t feeling well.”

Mu Yichen spoke softly again and sighed.

Mrs. Mu had been so precious lately, he dared not touch her.

No, he definitely had to touch her.

Thinking this, he held her tightly.

”Mu Yichen, are you trying to strangle me?”

Qin Mu held on to his shoulder, feeling almost out of breath, her neck turning red.

”I want to merge with you into one!”

Mu Yichen whispered in her ear.

Qin Mu was squeezed tightly, couldn’t help but whimper, and that irresistible whimpering sound was especially fatal to Mu Yichen.

——

The next day, the weather was overcast, and Qin Mu received a call from Gongzhi Ping’an before going out, so she went directly to the downtown store.

Gongzhi Ping’an, along with a few colleagues in uniform, went to their store, naturally as if they were inspecting this area.

The shop assistants initially felt nervous when they saw them come in, but relaxed once Gongzhi Ping’an met Qin Mu and realized they were friends, though they couldn’t help but swoon a bit at the sight of men in uniforms; they were just too handsome.

”Let me take you inside to choose some outfits! For socializing, dressing formally leaves a good impression on the ladies.”

Qin Mu joked with them as she led them inside, while other store staff were with her too.
