His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2065: Chapter 589: Forcibly Kept in the Bedroom (Second Update)

”Mu Yichen, you’ve really crossed the line. You looked so guilty just now, and now you want to tie me up?”

Qin Mu said as she got up, wanting to get out of bed.

”You better stay put, or I’ll take you to the hospital right now.”

Mu Yichen grabbed a tie from the cabinet with one hand and pointed at her warningly with the other.

”Hospital? What for?”

Qin Mu felt like her heart was about to leap out; he actually wanted to take her to the hospital? He’s such a lunatic.

”To the hospital for a check-up, Qin Mu. You’d better be obedient now; don’t force me to take you to the hospital.”

”If you dare to take me to the hospital, I’ll jump out the window.”

”Hmph! You’ll be disappointed, the window can’t be opened!”

”You...”

Qin Mu was so angry she was shaking, kneeling on the bed not knowing whether to go or stay.

Mu Yichen chuckled: ”Come over, let me examine you!”

Seeing her face turn red and white with anger, he thought about his somewhat excessive actions towards her over the past couple of days, which unexpectedly made him soften.

Qin Mu listened to his tone, no longer as hard as before, and suddenly felt aggrieved.

”You spent several hours in the office yesterday afternoon, and acted strangely after coming back. You said you wanted to role-play, and I believed you, but I’m telling you, I don’t believe you anymore. What’s the matter, why were you like that last night?”

Qin Mu, feeling upset, suddenly recalled last night’s events and asked him painfully.

Mu Yichen’s brows furrowed tightly, a foreboding feeling shot through his mind.

”Don’t overthink, just lay still for now!”

”Don’t even think about it!”

Qin Mu was furious and couldn’t care less about his mood, coldly glaring at him and started arguing.

Mu Yichen suddenly had no temper left, sighed helplessly, and then unexpectedly said: ”Qiao Yi told me, you noticed that Yang Qin harbors inappropriate thoughts about me.”

Qin Mu’s heart skipped a beat, looking at him in astonishment, unable to respond for a moment.

”But you kept enduring it, even though you can’t stand this, right?”

Mu Yichen asked her gently, yet when mentioning that matter, he was unhappy inside.

She hated it the most when he was unclear with other women, but this time, she was unbelievably silent, not saying a word.

”It’s only been a few months, and Yang Qin hasn’t done anything to you. If she really shows it, do you think I can tolerate it?”

Qin Mu’s voice softened a bit but still questioned him.

”I tolerate her because she knows she’s just a secretary, because she was introduced to you by Qiao Yi and Xi Meng, because, —”

Qin Mu suddenly paused and looked away.

She had her stubbornness, her grievances, and helplessness.

”Ever since I came back to Rongcheng, seeing so many women walk in front of you, trying to get entangled with you, Mu Yichen, I trust you will make the right decision when the time comes!”

She was used to it. If talking about who was more jealous between them, wasn’t she also unable to stand seeing him close to other women?

She merely hypocritically told herself not to mind.

But since he was open about it today, well, she might as well tell him that she really minds.

But they are husband and wife, familiar with each other for nearly thirty years. Qin Mu bowed her head and sighed softly, having already conveyed all her feelings to him, shouldn’t he be less upset?

Mu Yichen walked over and gently held the back of her head.

”Still want to tie me up?”

Qin Mu slightly raised her eyes, stubbornly looking at him and asked softly.

”Silly, what I want is to confirm you’re alright!”

Mu Yichen’s eyes were full of affection and love.

”What could be wrong? It’s not like you haven’t done this before!”

Qin Mu glanced at him, then rested her forehead against his chest: ”Mu Yichen, as long as I don’t tell you, it means I can endure it. I don’t feel aggrieved, so you don’t need to feel sorry for me, okay?”

When did they become so in sync?

No! When did she understand him so well?

”No more in the bathroom from now on!”

Mu Yichen said softly as he held her.

”Annoying!”

Qin Mu gently pushed him, then wrapped her arms around him, this important moment, and he’s saying such things.

Moreover, what he’s saying now, he’ll surely coax her back there another day, telling her he’ll be gentle, won’t let her feel bad.

Ah, men!

——

In the afternoon, the rain stopped.

Mu Yichen was downstairs, accompanying the old man for tea. As soon as the rain stopped, the old man looked outside and said: ”The rain has stopped, I should go for a walk!”
