His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2072: Chapter 591: A Chance Encounter (Second Update)_3

The roadside French sycamores had become desolate, and the leaves remaining on the branches were few. When the big wind blew, some leaves were still falling.

The leaves were too heavy, and when they landed on the ground, they would make a sound. Qin Mu couldn’t help but watch the leaves being blown and sliding on the ground, then asked Xiaomei: ”How many years have we been here?”

”Almost five years!”

Xiaomei replied while looking across at the lake surface.

In the blink of an eye, so much time has passed.

They have established careers and settled down here, and are no longer in the distanced relationship they were when they first arrived.

”Five years!”

Qin Mu’s lowered eyes also looked at the chilly lake across, her hair was blown up by the wind, covering her lips, as if covering up all her bad memories in this city.

It’s just that there’s someone who can never return.

Qin Mu suddenly realized she somewhat misses him.

But she does not regret the not-too-close relationship they had, because they, as father and daughter, had done their best, which was not easy.

Qin Mu still keeps his diary, she thinks, she will keep it for a lifetime, not only at home but also in her heart.

After four o’clock in the afternoon, Qin Mu drove to the city center, first glanced at the bookstore, had some tea with Qin Mingzhu, then returned to JY, and started to work on the clothes she hadn’t finished in the office.

Mu Yichen told her that day that she doesn’t need to personally make clothes for him anymore.

Qin Mu said that day that he finally understood her hard work, but if she hasn’t worked on these things for a while, she would feel itchy.

But if she is to make clothes, she would naturally make Mu Yichen’s first.

While making clothes, Qin Mu thought that she needs to visit the factory tomorrow; some processes, there isn’t equipment for here.

After six, Wen Runuan visited.

Qin Mu put down her work and sat with her on the sofa drinking tea.

”I really didn’t expect to run into you, Wang Li told me you were upstairs, so I came up. Did I disturb you?”

Wen Runuan asked her while holding her tea.

”How could you disturb me? We haven’t seen each other for quite a while, last time I went with Mu Yichen to have fish soup, we mentioned you, it’s been a long time since you came for it.”

Qin Mu talked and laughed with her.

”Oh! I’m going tonight, mainly this time I’ve been running around outside, I really missed it, went out in summer, coming back, it’s almost winter!”

Wen Runuan sighed, time passes so fast.

”Time is always fleeting!”

Qin Mu held back her laughter, not wanting them, being so young, to be too emotional.

”Right! We as a couple only see each other once or twice a month, I don’t even know if he is here flirting around.”

”I don’t think President Zhang is that kind of person. Besides, in your company, which female actor can compare to you?”

”That’s the kind of talk I like to hear. Even if some little vixen wants to seduce him, although he is in the city, he is often not at the company, they can’t see him, no chance.”

Recently, Wen Runuan is quite at ease about her husband, just hasn’t seen Qin Mu for a long time, heard that Qin Mu had gone through a lot. She wanted to comfort her more, but by the time she came back, Qin Mu was beyond needing comfort.

”By the way, did you hear Li Yu is up and walking again?”

Wen Runuan thought about it, JY’s new spring advertisement is due for shooting, so she brought up Li Yu with Qin Mu.

”Really? I haven’t heard any news about him in a long time, has he recovered?”

Qin Mu listened and was very excited, she knew Li Yu would work hard to get up again, but didn’t expect it would be so fast.

”Oh! Everyone said he might never stand up again, but Li Yu indeed is extraordinary. Though it wouldn’t have happened without Li Man’s efforts. I won’t be leaving the city for a while now, anyway, our spring advertisement needs scheduling, I plan to talk to him, what do you think?”

Wen Runuan thought about how Li Man was constantly by Li Yu’s side caring for him, guessing their sibling relationship must be quite good now.

”Hmm! You remember everything so clearly, you decide on the advertisement stuff then.”

Qin Mu smiled, with Wen Runuan worrying for her, she’s happy to be relaxed.

”I’ll invite them out someday, the four of us will have a meal, let’s set it at your AM, how’s that?”

Wen Runuan suggested again.

”Agreed!”

Qin Mu straightforwardly agreed.

”I was just going to pick up a few outfits, now that you’re here, want to come and take a look?”

Wen Runuan said to her.

Qin Mu nodded and went down with her to look at the clothes.

”Today, I must pick several pieces, don’t feel bad about it!”

Wen Runuan linked her arms with Qin Mu while walking and talking.
