Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 325: Chapter 291: The ”World-Ender” Appears!

The power from the explosion of the ”Ex-wife” has already dissipated.

On the island, two to three thousand reporters and team members stood in shock, speechless.

Initially, everyone was amazed by the Mecha’s superior maneuverability, formidable defenses, and fierce firepower, thinking this was the limit.

But after witnessing the previous scene, everyone realized one thing: the terror of the ancestor Mecha was beyond their imagination!

A missile the size of a vase not only obliterated everything within nearly 0.2 square kilometers, including escort ships and missile boats, but even vaporized them to oblivion.

Such terrifying power, once displayed, left everyone in awe!

Because everyone was utterly stunned by the fact that such a small Mecha possessed such ferocious firepower.

For a moment, the enormous island and the two to three thousand reporters and team members fell into complete silence.

Huff, huff.

Splash, splash.

Between heaven and earth, only the sounds of the sea breeze and waves remained.

....

On the other side, at the satellite control center.

Gu Wei was equally astonished, staring at the projection on the screen, completely taken aback.

He had previously heard from Lu Li about the power of the ”Ex-wife” missile.

At that time, Lu Li mentioned that the ”Ex-wife” missile could easily penetrate the defenses of large weapons like nuclear submarines and warships, then unleash great power to instantly destroy warships, and could even annihilate an aircraft carrier with a single shot.

When Gu Wei heard these descriptions, he didn’t have a concrete concept in his mind, just thought that the aircraft carrier would be blown up.

But after seeing that previous scene, Gu Wei realized that Lu Li’s earlier descriptions were completely misleading!

Holy crap, the destructive range of a single shell was this vast.

If all one hundred ”Ex-wife” missiles from fifty Mecha were launched, how terrifying would it be?

Wouldn’t it destroy an area as large as twenty square kilometers?

Calculating by the yield and power of a nuclear bomb, a hundred ”Ex-wife” missiles are equivalent to a hundred-thousand-ton nuclear weapon!

Thinking of this, Gu Wei couldn’t help but shiver, looking at Lu Li beside him with even more awe than before.

He stammered, ”Mr. Lu... Mr. Lu, is the power of the ’Ex-wife’ missile really this enormous?”

Lu Li continued to control the joystick with energy, not even raising his head, casually replied, ”Yes.”

Gu Wei’s tone trembled, ”Then... then how powerful is the ’Doomsday’ missile? It can’t really be similar to the power generated during the Little Boy explosion, can it?”

Lu Li softly affirmed again, ”Pretty much.”

Hearing this, Gu Wei’s vision went dark.

The power of a single ”Doomsday” missile was akin to Little Boy.

Each of the fifty Mecha was equipped with two ”Doomsday” missiles, making a total of one hundred if grouped together.

If there were a synchronized launch, wouldn’t it unleash power equivalent to over a million-ton nuclear bomb?

This is undoubtedly terrifying.

Imagine if Lu Li had any intentions toward a particular country.

He could easily dispatch these fifty Mecha to that country.

Then drop a ”Doomsday” missile on each major city.

That nation would surely be finished!

Even the mighty Bald Eagle wouldn’t dare to face such firepower because it wouldn’t be interceptable.

Never mind interception, they couldn’t even track the high-speed flying Mecha, so how could they intercept the missiles?

One hundred ”Doomsday” missiles might not completely destroy one hundred cities.

But if they were truly deployed, they would undoubtedly cause massive casualties and economic losses.

This would bring a once-powerful nation down from its pedestal.

In other words, with fifty Mecha, Lu Li has become one of the greatest ”nuclear deterrents” on Earth.

Or rather, the greatest ”nuclear deterrent.”

Because other countries’ nuclear missiles could still be intercepted.

Mecha-launched ”Doomsday” missiles cannot be intercepted.

Doesn’t that make it the ultimate deterrent?

Gu Wei couldn’t help but wipe the cold sweat that unknowingly covered his forehead, saying with a wry smile, ”These Mecha’s power is truly terrifying. Luckily, Mr. Lu, you’ve already wiped out the escort fleet; there’s no need to use the ’Doomsday’ missiles, or I really wouldn’t know how terrifying it would be.”

Lu Li suddenly raised his head, pointing at the red dot in the upper right corner of the big screen, ”It’s not completely resolved yet. Besides, today I’m going to launch at least two ’Doomsday’ missiles.”

”What?” Gu Wei was dumbfounded, ”You really have to launch two ’Doomsday’ missiles? Why?”

Lu Li’s gaze was deep, ”Because my Mecha detected that on an uninhabited island more than a dozen kilometers away, there are still over a thousand enemies that haven’t been eliminated, and I can’t be bothered to control the Mecha to hunt down those ’pirates’ one by one, so I’m planning to deploy two ’Doomsday’ missiles to sink the island!”

Alright, he was half bluffing with this statement.

The reason why Lu Li insisted on launching two ”Doomsday” missiles is partly because the uninhabited island over a dozen kilometers from the battlefield is packed with more than a thousand fully armed enemies.

But the more crucial reason is that today’s so-called drill, at its core, is meant to deter the world.

The power displayed so far is indeed frightening, but it falls slightly short of global deterrence.

Only by launching two ”Doomsday” missiles, creating a majestic and earth-shattering spectacle, can he thoroughly terrify countries worldwide, preventing them from daring to have any intentions toward him.
