Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 324: Chapter 290: The ”Ex-Wife” That Shook the World

The equivalent of the missile explosion was between ten thousand and fifty thousand tons.

The critical thing is not just one missile, but twelve loaded.

Additionally, there are four 533-millimeter torpedo tubes inside the nuclear submarine.

It can launch MK48 torpedoes, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and so on.

Then there’s the Constellation-class frigate.

This frigate’s displacement is almost comparable to an ordinary missile destroyer.

Its weapon systems primarily include a 57mm MK110 cannon, 32-cell MK41 universal missile vertical launch system, MK49 missile launch system, etc.

It can be said that such formidable strength wouldn’t even fear the navy of a small country.

This immense firepower has already cost nearly a hundred billion US Dollars.

How could this behind-the-scenes boss give up without seeing the final result?

The young man was silent for a while, ”Boss, if the battle is lost, is surrender our only option?”

The behind-the-scenes boss retorted, ”What else?”

The young man was speechless, so he agreed to the order and then hung up the phone.

The behind-the-scenes boss sat there, his face somewhat desolate, and couldn’t help but heave a long sigh, ”Ancestor, why are you so terrifying? So terrifying that someone of my status and power is scared to the point of wanting to surrender?”

...

International waters.

The battle between the mecha combat group and the frigate combat group had reached a boiling point!

At this moment, the journalists standing on the island and filming could only see violent flashes from the explosions on the distant sea, and the booming sound of the explosions thrilled people to the core.

The explosions sent wave after wave rolling over the sea surface.

One can imagine how shocking the scene of the battle between the mecha combat group and the frigate combat group was.

Lu Li’s fifty mechas, with their indestructible properties, could not be harmed by ordinary weapons.

Moreover, they also had relatively powerful six-barreled Gatling guns and quickly forced the frigate combat group to retreat step by step.

Especially the missile boats, they launched one anti-ship missile after another, but all were dodged by the mecha combat group with their ultra-high-speed maneuvers.

In less than a minute, half of the forty to fifty missile boats commanded by Chamos had been sunk.

The four Apache helicopters were no exception, almost easily crashed into fireballs by the mechas, falling into the sea and disappearing without a trace.

Perhaps realizing that without using more potent weapons, it might never be possible to win this battle.

Seeing the missile boats damaged by half, Chamos decisively issued an order, instructing the frigates to fire the powerful RAM missiles.

In an instant, RAM missiles rolled out from the MK49 missile launch system, turning into dazzling lights, fiercely bombarding towards the mecha combat group.

The RAM missiles have a firing speed of up to Mach 2 and are a short-range, low-altitude ship-borne anti-aircraft missile system.

Because these missiles continue to spin during flight, their penetration is more ferocious than ordinary armor-piercing missiles, and when they hit their targets, they unleash tremendous power, with the potential to destroy a warship with a single hit; just imagine how powerful they are.

Now, with twenty-one RAM missiles fired simultaneously, the scene is extraordinarily sensational.

The journalists were so scared by the sight that they almost fainted.

Because these missiles might hit them!

A breathtaking scene was born!

Or rather, a scene that moved thousands of journalists spontaneously arose!

The mechas, which were previously in an advantageous position, obviously could have avoided the RAM missiles with their ultra-high speed movements, but they ”charged head-on” towards the incoming RAM missiles to ”protect” the journalists behind them!

This scene moved all the journalists.

None of them had expected that these mechas would abandon their hard-won advantage to save their lives!

Just as the journalists were about to shout something, an even more shocking event unfolded before their eyes!

The mechas charging at the twenty-one RAM missiles suddenly raised their left arms, which burst forth with bright high-energy laser beams, striking the rolling RAM missiles.

Next moment, before these RAM missiles could unleash their true power, they exploded into gigantic fireballs one after another in the sky.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

The deafening roar of explosions continued to emanate from above.

Waves of massive shock blasted in all directions.

Even though the journalists were miles away, they still felt the burning, powerful gusts of wind rushing towards them!

The journalists were stunned!

”Oh my god!”

”These mechas can also emit even more terrifying high-energy laser beams?”

”Damn, that’s fierce! They can intercept missiles with high-energy laser beams?”

The journalists were in an uproar, astounded beyond belief.

These were RAM missiles!

And they were already flying at Mach 2 and spinning!

Yet, they couldn’t break through the high-energy laser barrier of the mecha combat group?

Anyone can imagine what would happen if these high-energy laser beams were to target large warships.

It’s likely that dozens of high-energy laser beams could slice a large warship into pieces!

While the journalists were utterly shocked, an even more terrifying scene unfolded.

After dealing with the RAM missiles, the mechas raised their arms again, releasing ring after ring of electromagnetic pulse waves, striking two moving frigates.

The next moment, the journalists noticed in disbelief that the two frigates had stopped ”frozen” on the sea!

One journalist instantly realized and shouted, ”It must be the electromagnetic pulse waves! The electromagnetic pulse waves must have destroyed the electronic components of the frigates’ electronic equipment, rendering those two frigates useless! Totally useless!”

What?

It’s shocking enough that these mechas have powerful high-energy laser beams.

But they can also emit electromagnetic pulse waves that disable electronic equipment?

The journalists were utterly astounded!

Suddenly, one of the mechas’ left buttons lifted.

An observant journalist immediately noticed that a missile the size of a vase had appeared on the mecha’s left button.

He was puzzled at first, not knowing how powerful such a small missile could be.

The next moment, the observant journalist knew.

Or rather, every journalist present saw the immense power of the ”Ex-Wife” armor-piercing missile!

Once the ”Ex-Wife” armor-piercing missile appeared, it immediately launched toward the left frigate.

It was incredibly fast!

Before the crowd could react, the ”Ex-Wife” missile had hit the left frigate, and then...

Boom!

A thunderous explosion erupted over the sea!

All the journalists watched in horror as within a radius of about 0.2 square kilometers, a stunningly powerful blue flash erupted, followed by the sudden appearance of a massive fireball. Billowing smoke continually rose, transforming into something resembling a mushroom cloud!

The explosive flash was so intense that journalists several kilometers away felt their eyes almost blinded.

Many hurriedly shielded their eyes with their hands and quickly put on anti-flash glasses to see what would happen next in the explosion.

As expected, the journalists witnessed an even more terrifying and shocking scene.

As the mushroom cloud rose, a visible shockwave, resembling a circular shockwave, spread and surged from the explosion center in all directions, lifting seawater from the ocean into the air.

Even standing miles away, journalists felt the aftermath of the shockwave stinging their faces and sensed an intense heat.

One can imagine how terrifying the power of the ”Ex-Wife” missile’s explosion was!

The journalists were left speechless, staring blankly at the explosion site with eyes wide with shock, even holding their breath!

Having witnessed this scene, the journalists were already extremely shocked.

However, when the flames and smoke slowly subsided, the journalists realized what was truly earth-shattering!

On the sea surface, there was nothing left...

It was as if, in that incredibly violent explosion, the two frigates and over twenty missile boats had been vaporized by the high temperature!

Such a breathtaking scene deeply imprinted itself in the eyes of every journalist, leaving them shocked as if their souls were about to leave their bodies!

No one had expected that a missile the size of a vase could unleash power comparable to that of a small nuclear bomb!
