Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 311: Chapter 269: I Don’t Eat Beef (Part 2)

Less than 26,000 square meters.

This means that if there are ten aircraft carriers lined up side by side, a single missile of this type could destroy them all.

Lu Li named this armor-piercing missile ”Ex-Wife.”

The name comes from the War Machine’s weapon in Iron Man 2.

He thought it was quite fitting, so he decided to use it.

This weapon is specifically designed to attack heavily armored warships and similar targets, effectively destroying their interior to overcome the issue of overly thick armor preventing impactful strikes from reaching inside.

”Heh, you’ve got some pretty good ammo loaded there.”

Lu Li didn’t answer directly and instead introduced the two missiles on his shoulders.

He showed an intrigued expression, ”These two missiles are extraordinary, I’ve named them the ’Doomsday’ missiles.”

Gu Wei isn’t a fool; seeing Lu Li avoid the previous question, he quickly realized the latter didn’t want to talk about it.

He didn’t press further and instead asked, ”How powerful are the ’Doomsday’ missiles?”

Lu Li said, ”The power released from one missile is roughly equivalent to the Little Boy explosion.”

”Holy shit!” Gu Wei was shocked, ”That’s equivalent to a nuclear weapon?”

Lu Li nodded, ”Pretty much. Destroying the downtown area of a small city is a piece of cake.”

The ’Doomsday’ missiles are different from the ’Ex-Wife’ armor-piercing shells.

They are filled with a large amount of ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particles.

Approximately one kilogram.

Their explosive power is almost equal to the Little Boy explosion.

Actually, Lu Li could use his expertise to create even more powerful ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particle missiles, but these are extremely hard to control.

If there’s any slip-up with a large ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particle missile, it could lead to catastrophic destruction, instantly blowing him up as well.

Because the ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particles are extremely unstable, even a slight disturbance can cause annihilation, unleashing terrifying power. The larger they are, the harder they are to control, so for safety reasons, Lu Li hasn’t created larger ones.

Forget about large ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particle missiles.

Even the weapons mounted on this Mecha could pose a certain threat to Lu Li himself.

This is one of the main reasons he doesn’t want to hand over such weapons to others.

Gu Wei was startled, ”These weapons are terrifying, aren’t they? By the way, what about their flight speed?”

Mentioning this, Lu Li sighed, ”Their flight speed is too fast. Anyway, they’re much faster than the stealth bomber I delivered to you, and their coating is even more advanced than the ’Lu Li Generation One.’ Not only can it evade radar detection, but it can also change light to some extent, making it unable to be physically photographed. Well, maybe not completely unphotographable, but it can only be detected as a flash of light, unable to capture a specific image.”

Gu Wei thought Lu Li was not going to disclose the flight speed of this Mecha and was still itching for an answer.

Who knew, Lu Li said in his next sentence, ”Its top speed can reach Mach 5, comparable to some experimental aircraft. I’ve installed an anti-gravity system in this Mecha. Hmm, I could make it even faster, but the missiles inside are a bit dangerous. If the speed is too fast, the materials inside the missiles could annihilate, unleashing terrifying power, thus blowing up the Mecha as well.”

This flight speed is actually faster than the early Iron Man suits but falls short of the mid to late models.

The flight speed of the Iron Man Mark 40 Shotgun armor can reach up to Mach 8.8.

And the flight speed of the Mark 50 Nano armor is terrifyingly Mach 10.

Although it doesn’t compare to the flight speed of the mid to late Iron Man armor in sci-fi movies, Gu Wei was still shocked when he heard these figures.

He was dumbfounded, ”You mean, this is a stealth Mecha and its flight speed is faster than any stealth bomber in the world?”

Lu Li nodded, ”Yes.”

Terrified!

Gu Wei was truly terrified!

It’s not like there are no flying machines in the world that exceed Mach 5.

Not to mention things like spaceships.

Even Ugly Country has a drone with a fuselage length of 3.65 meters, reportedly costing 230 million US Dollars, with a top speed of Mach 10.

But this drone has relatively weak carrying capacity.

It can’t have as much destructive power as this Mecha in front of you.

Most importantly, this Mecha is a stealth aircraft!

Gu Wei could completely imagine that if Lu Li wanted to take someone out, he could easily let this Mecha fly right over their airspace in plain sight and drop a ’Doomsday’ missile to finish the job.

It can be said that this Mecha is a super terrifying existence that no country in the world can guard against!

Gu Wei couldn’t calm down for a long time.

He took a deep breath and asked, ”How far can such a powerful Mecha fly on a mission?”

Lu Li replied, ”Due to its relatively weak reactor energy storage device, it may only fly about 20,000 kilometers. Beyond this distance, it needs to be refueled. Hmm, flying from here to Ugly Country shouldn’t be a problem.”

The reactor inside also uses ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particles as an energy source.

Therefore, currently, besides Lu Li, no one else can refuel this Mecha.

This is the second reason he hasn’t handed over the Mecha to Gu Wei and his team.

Even if I give you the Mecha.

You still can’t use it!

Although Gu Wei and his team can develop a new energy system, it definitely won’t be as good as the ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particle reactor.

By then, the Mecha might run out of energy after flying a thousand kilometers, making it far less efficient and powerful.

At this point, Gu Wei seemed to recall something and carefully asked, ”You mentioned earlier that this Mecha is called ’No Beef One’, is that right?”

Lu Li replied, ”Yes.”

Gu Wei forced a smile, ”You’re not really planning to quit eating beef, are you?”

How could he not know that once Lu Li owned such a Mecha, even without ’Divine Power,’ he’d have the capability to not eat beef.

Lu Li laughed heartily, ”In my own country, I still have to eat beef. After all, this is the homeland that bore and nurtured me. However, if it’s abroad and someone ticks me off, I might really quit eating beef, for instance... this incident!”

Gu Wei roughly guessed what Lu Li intended to do, ”Are you planning to do something earth-shattering with this Mecha?”

Lu Li candidly admitted, ”That’s right, I’m preparing to make a statement, to shake all the countries worldwide. Besides, it’s not just one ’No Beef One’ Mecha. I plan to manufacture about eight or nine more of this type, making ten in total to showcase our power!”
