Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 310: Chapter 269: I Don’t Eat Beef

In the basement.

Gu Wei stood there in a daze.

The war machine before him had surpassed his imagination.

Lu Li did not disturb his thoughts, just watched him quietly.

This prototype Mecha was the ”solution” he arrived at when simulating future technology for stealth bombers.

Additionally, the current computing capability might not be sufficient to simulate something better, but if computing power increases, this thing could be upgraded.

For now, the functions of this prototype are sufficient to deal with most thermal weapons on Earth.

Lu Li named it ”No Beef One.”

Two or three minutes later, Gu Wei finally snapped out of his shock.

He couldn’t take his eyes off ”No Beef One,” ”Mr. Lu, what’s this Mecha called?”

Lu Li casually replied: ”Oh, it’s called the ’No Beef One’ Mecha.”

”’No Beef One’ Mecha?” Gu Wei muttered, then asked, ”What functions does it have?”

”It has quite a few functions.” Lu Li walked to the Mecha’s side, ”I’ll show you one by one.”

Gu Wei nodded, ”Okay.”

Lu Li hadn’t conjured up the ”remote control” yet.

He directly used energy to enter the cockpit to operate it, ”Firstly, this Mecha has extremely strong defensive capabilities. Not only can it cause substantial physical damage in melee, but typical armor-piercing rounds also cannot penetrate its defense; more advanced thermal weapons would be needed. Simply put, if I let it collide with a tank, the one damaged would definitely be the tank.”

Gu Wei slightly nodded, the powerful defense was surely based on the materials.

He did not know what alloy material Lu Li used to forge this Mecha, but it was certainly much more advanced than the material used in the previous stealth bomber.

Actually, this is not very terrifying.

After all, there are many thermal weapons more powerful than armor-piercing rounds.

Lu Li continued to operate, and the Mecha’s palms slowly lifted.

He pointed to the lens-like things on the palms, ”It can effectively release electromagnetic pulse waves to destroy others’ electronic equipment, and it can convert into high-energy laser rays to directly damage well-armored tanks, armored vehicles, or even penetrate thick armor to harm the people inside.”

What?

It can also destroy electronic equipment?

Gu Wei was startled as he listened.

In his view, the high-energy laser damaging the armor of tanks and armored vehicles is secondary.

The Mecha’s ability to generate electromagnetic pulse waves to disrupt electronic equipment is the most impressive.

Modern high-tech warfare is essentially a battle of electronic equipment.

Take nuclear submarines, for instance; if their internal electronic equipment is destroyed, they will most likely lose their combat capabilities.

Because the electronic devices are like the brains of planes, tanks, warships, and the like.

If the brain is damaged, how can they be operated?

Of course, many thermal weapons have retained manual operating systems in practical applications.

Even if electronic equipment is destroyed, they won’t completely lose combat capabilities to a certain extent.

But it’s highly likely they will become ”blind,” and their response to combat will be significantly diminished.

No matter what, the fact that the Mecha can emit electromagnetic pulse waves is already terrifying.

Gu Wei realized the value of this Mecha.

Now he had a few questions.

What is the flying speed of this Mecha?

What is its energy consumption?

And what is its maximum destructive power?

Lu Li continued to introduce it.

At this point, the Mecha’s arms twisted around.

Two devices appeared similar to Gatling gun barrels.

He pointed to these two devices and said, ”The Mecha’s left and right hands are equipped with weapons similar to a six-barrel Gatling gun; however, the bullets fired are more powerful than a typical Gatling. Relatively speaking, its power is lesser and is generally used to clear ground combat personnel.”

Gu Wei curiously asked, ”How many bullets can it carry?”

”Not many,” Lu Li replied, ”one thousand rounds each, and after each use, they need maintenance and care.”

Gu Wei gently nodded, ”Two thousand rounds are enough; an average small army, when faced with such powerful firepower, would probably be struck with a devastating blow instantly. Is there any stronger destructive equipment?”

”Yes.” Lu Li operated again, and missile launch pods rose instantly on the Mecha’s shoulders, each with two vase-sized missiles mounted, ”There are four missiles in total installed here, two on the left shoulder are powerful armor-piercing missiles; they can easily penetrate the defenses of large weapons such as nuclear submarines and warships, then unleash massive destructive force, instantly destroying weapons like warships. Let’s put it this way, even if an aircraft carrier takes a hit, it would be destroyed.”

Gu Wei gasped, ”An aircraft carrier would be destroyed if it takes a hit? These missiles don’t look big; what kind of ammunition is loaded in them that the power is so immense?”

What kind of ammunition is loaded inside?

It certainly isn’t conventional ammunition.

It’s ”volcanic ash” subatomic particles.

However, there are relatively few ”volcanic ash” subatomic particles loaded inside these armor-piercing missiles, only about one hundred grams, which can’t reach the power of ”Little Boy,” but destroying an aircraft carrier is quite a feasible task.

Forget about the aircraft carrier.

One hundred grams of ”volcanic ash” subatomic particles.

Actually, the destructive range exceeds 0.2 square kilometers.

0.2 square kilometers is 200,000 square meters.

What is the area of a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier?
