Eternal Thief

Ace sighed faintly as he looked at Eva, who seemed gleeful.

However, he knew she might be talking about all of this as if it wasn’t a big deal, but it wasn’t the truth. Just the part about gathering the souls of Abyssal Devils to complete a single Soul Bloodline was perilous.

After all, the Abyssal Devils were one of the three rulers of the Evernight Council, and hunting them was like provoking a hornet nest. So, Ace can only imagine how much risk Eva had taken in her endeavor to grant the three thief acolytes Abyssal Devil bloodlines.

Nonetheless, he won’t point it out or say anything irrelevant to hurt her pride and look down on her efforts. He will remember everything in his heart and do his best to support her and complete any wish she has for her husband.

As if sensing Ace’s emotions, Eva smiled tenderly before she changed the topic and said it out loud, “Alright, enough of chit-chat. Open the Thief House, my Abyssal Thief Acolytes should meet with others since they will be working together in our upcoming undertaking.

“Furthermore, you haven’t been inside for almost two days, but it’s pretty lively after the others came back. Especially ’Faceless’, who brought quite an interesting character back.” Eva smiled mysteriously at Ace.

Ace was also astounded and couldn’t help but show a doubtful expression. But as Eva said, he hadn’t been inside the Thief’s House ever since he started the Pickpocket incident back in the Runic Forge City, and then was forced to confront Damien!

The three thief acolytes’ ears also perked up when they heard ’Thief’s House’, and no matter how they felt about Ace, they had already been briefed about the Thief House by Eva. She had to reveal some secrets to make them loyal and willing.

That’s why they knew the Thief’s House was filled with mystical facilities, even the legendary ’Time Acceleration’ was available within the Thief’s House.

Ace didn’t refute Eva’s statement either, as he was already in the Abyss of Wandering Souls, and they really needed to discuss their plans to move forward with the Abyss Mission Series.

Moreover, the system has already put a ’Mission Hint’ up for purchase, and he needed to discuss it with House Members and Eva before planning the mission.

“Alright, let’s go inside and discuss it. Furthermore, you need to properly introduce the Abyss of Wandering Souls and the territory of the Evernight Council now.” Ace stated and then activated the entrance to the Thief’s House in the underground chamber of the Evil Villa.

The moment the ethereal gateway of the Thief’s House appeared, Eva beckoned the three acolytes, who were watching the gate with different emotions, mostly astonishment.

She also used spirit transmission to send a secret order, which she didn’t want Ace to hear, “Alright, you three moved in and behave well. Don’t lose my face in front of everyone, especially in front of a ’Silver-Head Vixen’!”

The three acolytes were startled as they looked at the smiling Eva with confusion, but they could sense the hidden warning behind her smile, and they didn’t dare to disregard her words.

Ace also noticed these vague changes, but he didn’t know what was going on, so he didn’t pay any attention to them and walked into the Thief’s House, for his interest was piqued after what Eva just said.

The moment Ace entered the main hall, he was greeted by a dazzling sight of beauties sitting around the huge table in the center, who seemed to be chatting with each other.

Ace was flabbergasted when he saw so many new faces, and thought he had come to the wrong place.

After all, Ace was used to seeing only three or a maximum of six people within the Thief’s House normally, but now, including Eva’s Thief Acolytes, there were more than fifteen.

Furthermore, except for Thomas, who was standing in a far corner, minding his own business, and Cyrus, who was doing something on the table, everyone else was a woman.

’No wonder, Eva said it was lively…those new faces should be Thief Acolytes recruited by Freya, Winter, and Noa…’ Ace guessed since he knew the House Members won’t bring just anyone here.

When Livia, Riana, and Sofia entered the Thief’s House, their expression also changed when they saw so many people.

What’s more, the atmosphere in the Thief’s House startled them because, despite the missing Abyssal Spirit Qi, they didn’t feel discomfort; on the contrary, they felt this place was even more suitable for cultivation!

“Oh…big bro is here!” Cyrus suddenly exclaimed out loud since he was the first one to sense Ace’s arrival.

Thereafter, Noa, Winter, and Freya, followed by the others, were all startled before they quickly looked towards Ace’s direction, and the chattering abruptly stopped. Thomas also moved his head towards Ace’s direction.

Ace felt slightly uncomfortable when so many eyes were locked on him, but he didn’t show it as he impassively walked towards the main empty seat. Eva smiled faintly while she closely followed behind, and the three acolytes glanced at each other before they silently followed behind Eva.

The House Members, Thomas, Lillian, Aliya, and little Leah, who knew Ace, showed momentary surprise before returning to normal. However, the newcomers were stunned and displayed different expressions, mostly one of apprehension and curiosity.

They all could guess that this mysterious hooded figure should be the exclusive leader of their superiors; the valid owner and Leader of the Thief House!

Under everyone’s eyes, Ace casually took the main seat. At the same time, Eva sat on the first seat at his right-hand side, while Alina was sitting at the first seat at his left-hand side, flashing a hostile glare at Eva and the three acolytes who joined the far end of the table after the House Members.

Thomas also walked over, but he stood behind Noa, who was sitting next to Eva, while looking at Ace with an ambiguous smile as if he were watching a show.

Ace instantly noticed Thomas’s strange look and couldn’t help but smile wryly before he looked at everyone.

“Ahem, I guess there’s a need for an introduction since there are so many newcomers. Let’s go by House Ranks. I’ll start with myself, I’m Ace, also goes by Sky Stealer. I’m the House Leader of Thief House.”

Everyone nodded towards Ace in greeting, and no one spoke since this was going to be an official meeting, and most of those thief acolytes were also curious about the ’House Member Rankings’. Many of them were excited about their superiors as they wanted to know where their superiors ranked in the Thief House.

Afterward, Ace glanced towards Noa, “Now, Thief Assassin Noa, how about you introduce yourself and your Thief Assassin Acolytes!”
