“Golden Flow Reversal—Return to the Worthless!”

The moment Prosperity Matriarch used the mystic ability ’Golden Flow Reversal’, the pressure of the Judgment Field seemed to twist, morphing into distorted symbols of reversed value.

The first mystic ability of Prosperity Law can reverse the flow of value or fortune targeted against the user, reflecting any attacks at their source with amplified effect.

That’s how Damien’s own domain suddenly started to turn against him. Although Prosperity Matriarch didn’t have Primordial Qi nor Damien’s heritage, laws were different, and Prosperity Law was one of the strongest laws known in the Mortal Ascension Heaven.

Furthermore, with the massive difference in realm, the Prosperity Matriarch was able to reverse the situation. At this moment, Damien finally felt the terrible pressure of the Judgment Field despite his immunity, for the Golden Flow Reversal was involved!

Moreover, the pressure on Prosperity Matriarch and Ace lessened considerably, and Ace was astounded when he witnessed this scene. He wasn’t expecting that the mystic ability of the Prosperity Law would be able to counter the Heaven’s Advocate’s ability. However, he knew that the vast power difference also played a significant role in this.

Damien’s expression was grim as he knew he needed to counter this quickly, or he would run out of primordial Qi and Force. At the same time, the Prosperity Matriarch, an ascension king, could easily manipulate laws without any effort.

“Chains of Retribution!” Damien’s finally activated the final ability/stage of the Judgment Field.

Instantly, the flickering scales over Prosperity Matriarch because of the Golden Flow Reversal suddenly began to shimmer before the black side started to tip over as if weighing her sins slowly.

At that moment, the Prosperity Matriarch’s expression flickered and turned solemn, for she could feel a profound law locked onto her. Due to her sensitivity to laws, she knew this was going to be extremely dangerous.

Without hesitation, the Prosperity Matriarch suddenly flicked her finger, and the sky was suddenly covered in darkness as a massive shadow was cast, alarming everyone.

When Damien and Ace saw the source of the shadow, they were dumbfounded because countless glittering crystals and shimmering, marble-like stones cast it.

’Spirit Stones and Spirit Crystals!?’ Ace instantly recognized them, and he was speechless because even he could tell those Spirit Stones and Spirit Crystals were far higher grade than he had ever seen.

Damien was the same, as he had a bad feeling about this.

But what confused them was why she would suddenly take out so many high-grade Spirit Stones and Spirit Crystals. What was she up to?

The answer came very quickly as millions of Spirit Stones and Spirit Crystals falling from the sky suddenly burned in a blinding flash. The next moment, golden clouds formed above the Prosperity Sky Division, rumbling with storm-like wrath.

Prosperity Matriarch coldly muttered, “Wealthfall Avalanche!”

This was the second mystic ability of the Prosperity Law, which converts accumulated wealth, such as spirit stones, treasures, and even people, into a devastating attack. The more wealth consumed, the stronger the avalanche.

The golden clouds suddenly condensed into a cascade of radiant gold meteors that crashed down like divine thunder on Damien.

’Booommm…boommm…boommm…’

Damien vanished under the wrathful avalanche—the entire division shuddered under the storm.

’This sow!’ Damien cursed as he barely managed to erect a barrier with his avatar phantom, but cracks instantly spread.

Soon, the scene returned to normal, but the devastating damage was a testament to the terrifying mystical ability.

’Is he dead?’ Ace wondered, even as he shuddered at the gravity of this attack and wasn’t confident of coming out alive from it.

But he soon shook his head, ’No, he can be killed by just this much, he wouldn’t be Heaven’s Advocate sent after me. Besides, the Judgment Field is still present…’

Just as Ace suspected, a golden flash surfaced from the dust clouds, and above the Prosperity Matriarch’s head, the scales finally stopped tipping.

Prosperity Matriarch also noticed this, and her expression was somewhat ugly because she felt humiliated for not even being able to subdue an Ascension Grand General brat. If news gets out, she’ll be a laughingstock among her peers.

But she had another matter to worry about because the third ability of the Judgment Field finally activated at this moment.

The scales of balance behind her suddenly morphed into a black, nefarious humanoid phantom with a fiendish expression. This phantom was like a fiend emerging from the depths of hell, holding ethereal scarlet chains.

“Congratulations…You were judged and found wanting…” Damien’s weak yet icy voice suddenly surfaced at this moment as his figure appeared again, but his handsome appearance was now haggard.

Even he was barely able to endure that attack from an Ascension King, and the price he had paid for it only he knew. But he was now filled with killing intent towards the Prosperity Matriarch.

He mocked, “Did I tell you what the Chains of Retribution are? Well, I guess you’re about to find out since the Judgment Phantom has successfully manifested!”

Just as his voice trailed off, the devilish Judgment Phantom suddenly swung the scarlet chains towards the Prosperity Matriarch.

Prosperity Matriarch’s expression suddenly fell as a sense of crisis overwhelmed her for the first time. She no longer cared about Ace and tried to manipulate space to escape the chains.

However, to her horror, the space was locked entirely, and even someone like her, an ascension king, wasn’t able to tear it open. Still, she didn’t relent, using a movement technique that left after-images.

But the scarlet chains seemed to have a mind of their own, and like agile serpents, they flashed towards Prosperity Matriarch, and their speed wasn’t any lower than hers, faster even.

Damien smirked with disdain when he witnessed Prosperity Matriarch struggling against the Judgment Phantom.

Only Damien knew that once he determined the target and activated the scales of balance, the sinner would be determined based on their sins.

If the scales are tipped to the black side, the Judgment Phantom will manifest and enact punishment appropriate to their sins. These punishments were automatic and irreversible unless forcibly stopped!

The Prosperity Matriarch wanted to escape the Judgment Field but was given another huge surprise. Because when she tried to reach the edge of the Judgment Field, it seemed to have no end, no matter how long she chased after it. It was as if her entire world had shrunk within the Judgment Field.

Her expression changed, and at this moment, the Prosperity Matriarch suddenly stopped. She had already noticed it would be useless to flee because she knew this mysterious ability was locked on her, and it wasn’t just any ability; it was a law on the same level as the Prosperity Law, if not stronger.

But she absolutely won’t let those chains touch her, and with an unwilling expression, she retrieves something…!
