Eternal Thief

“Oh, I really can’t share them unless…they are all completed by the chosen one!”

Ace blinked a few times with a dumbfounded look on his face, before his eyes widened with incredulousness, “YOU! You set me up!”

“Hehe~, please don’t take it the wrong way, and I’ve done nothing but remain impartial. In fact, Mister is the one who started the whole process by completing the first condition, ‘Primal Seal Breaker’, by breaking my seal.

“Then, you complete the condition of having a Forbidden Bloodline, Forbidden Physique, and your cultivation foundation completes the Perfection in Power, and Order Acknowledgment.

“The Master of Eternal Provenance is obvious, and Raised by Unknown, even I have no idea what it was until I met you, it should be the unknown ‘treasure’ or ‘existence’ that is connected to your entire existence, meaning you were raised by it in some sense. As for being the Enemy of a Forbidden Existence, I sense it’s also been met, which is nothing but great!

“Lastly, the Dissembler Conflict means you need to figure out my nature and also be of the same nature.” Pixy’s voice was filled with emotions and a hint of disbelief, “Even I never had expected that I would one day meet someone who could really meet all these ridiculous conditions, because just the Primal Seal Breaker is enough to put me in eternal despair.

“Yet, the moment this condition was met, the others seemed to have been completed on their own. I guess, I wasn’t born cursed and abandoned…”

Ace was even more speechless when he heard the truth behind those strange conditions, and he suddenly had a feeling that the system knew about them!

But still, Ace was feeling quite vexed because Pixy had played a significant role in reaching this conclusion. He even wondered if Pixy deliberately exposed herself or left clues so he could figure her out and expose her.

‘The most ridiculous thing is, only someone like me can truly see through her lies and manipulation…’ Ace thought bitterly, ‘However, didn’t this mean I just got a Primal Spirit without even trying? But for some reason, I don’t feel at ease with her…maybe because she’s like me, a liar…and even surpasses me. Wait, doesn’t this mean others also feel the same about me?!’

Ace tried to remain optimistic, since he really didn’t hate or abhor Pixy; it was just that it was the first time he had tasted the consequences of his own methods. It was like experiencing being tricked into joining the Thief House firsthand!

Taking a deep breath, he asked coldly, “What now, then? Since I’ve met your conditions, what’s next? Since you already know about my qualifications, I think I’m entitled to know yours. I’m not against having a Primal Spirit, but I need to know what a Primal Spirit is capable of.”

Pixy didn’t seem surprised by Ace’s response, as if she knew he wouldn’t reject her at all. After all, she had already shown him what she was capable of, not to mention that she knew his nature and could predict his response because of her own.

“Fair enough, the Primal Bond is based on mutual understanding and trust. Furthermore, we can only form it once in our lifetime, and you are probably the only one who can form a Primal Bond with me, and I’m also the only one who is suitable to be your Primal Spirit.” She confidently declared.

“Why is that?” Ace asked, despite knowing she should be extremely helpful to him because the Fate Map had led him to her, and she was already sealed in that ancient remnant, which might have some connection to another person who hated Heaven.

“It’s simple, I’m the Primal Spirit of ‘Wealth’. The Law of Wealth is the convergence of value, intent, and exchange. It is the embodiment of accumulation, flow, scarcity, and perception, transcending material and immaterial forms. Furthermore, true Wealth shapes fate, builds empires, buys time, and rewrites laws. Where wealth flows, power follows!

“The stronger the wealth, the stronger the power it represents, and I’m not just talking about material wealth. Wealth comes in different forms, and knowledge is one of the highest forms of wealth there is, because without knowledge, there would be nothing but chaos and destruction. Even having the ability to think is a type of blessing, an invaluable wealth.

“That’s why Wealth is a unique law made with different Primordial Laws, and you know what that means, right? Wealth does not fall under an ‘Order’, only the laws associated with it. As long as someone can create an Order of Wealth, it’ll be free from all restrictions!”

Ace’s mind was jolted when he heard those ridiculously ambitious words from Pixy, and he even thought Pixy was some zealot.

“Creating an ‘Order’? Is that even possible?” Ace scoffed, but there was a hint of uncertainty since he had no idea if that was really possible or not.

Moreover, he had no idea that a ‘unique’ law could escape the rules of the Orders, but there were still many questions attached to this topic alone, and he knew this might be another core secret of the Orders and Laws.

Nonetheless, Ace knew that with Pixy’s involvement, he would be able to learn from them, since this Primal Spirit didn’t seem to be restricted by anything. Furthermore, it was also his first time hearing about the Law of ‘Wealth’, and from Pixy’s description, it sounded quite imposing.

Pixy didn’t seem offended by Ace’s words. Instead, she smiled profoundly as she stated, “Indeed, it is impossible to create a New Order, not to mention that an Order is something that has existed since the very beginning, and each Order is crucial. After all, each order has many branch laws that represent the profound system of the Universe.

“But I’m the Primal Spirit of Wealth, and you are my chosen one, which makes you qualify to realize this goal, and also, if you are my chosen one, then this means, Wealth is what you need to achieve your objective! I’ll be your helper! This is my mission and now our mission!”

Ace was dumbfounded at this moment, as he looked at Pixy and thought she was crazy. But when he saw how calm she was and there wasn’t any hint of doubt or uncertainty on her face, he almost believed her.

But then, he suddenly thought about how he got her through the fate map, and then even the system didn’t stop her in any way.

A strange expression appeared on his face, ‘Is this really possible? To create an ‘Order’? Furthermore, now that she mentioned it, she was indeed born from laws and a unique existence, and the requirements she had were all unique. Could it be those requirements are there for a reason to find someone who can complete these Primal Spirits missions?’

The more Ace thought about it, the more he felt that this was true, and looking at how confident Pixy was, he was sure that even if he denied it and called her a lunatic, she would probably brush it off.

Not only that, he still doesn’t completely believe her because of who she was, and he didn’t want to be led astray by her.

Nonetheless, he was getting a Primal Spirit and a very cunning one at that, who knows many things, so just this much was enough for Ace to want her by his side.

Ace took a deep breath and decisively stated, “Alright, I’ll believe you for now, let’s form this Primal Bond!”

Pixy’s eyes shimmered with approval as she nodded, “Indeed, we must not waste any time and start right away! I’m going to tell you my True Name, and once you know it, you need to tell me your True Name, and the Primal Bond will be formed!”
