Eternal Thief

Ace felt enlightened after Pixy’s profound explanation, and he couldn’t help but look at the tiny Primal Spirit with a hint of awe, which was replaced with elation because she was now on his side.

“What does it say? I can only make ‘Primal Spirit’, and my true name?” Pixy curiously questioned as she focused on the status in front of her.

Ace thought for a moment before explaining the new status to her while secretly observing her reaction.

Pixy’s eyes shimmered with a hint of surprise before she exclaimed, “How wonderful! It can even appraise my skills correctly, as I have just awakened after forming the Primal Bond. No wonder I’m inferior.”

Ace chuckled, “There’s no need to compare yourself to this; you can barely detect it. This is an achievement of its own.”

“Hehe, are you flattering me? Then I humbly accept your praise.” Pixy playfully giggled, “Well, this also saves me the trouble of explaining it to you. Anyway, the suggestion about your ‘Thief’s Space’ being perfect for becoming my Treasury. Or believe it not, I required at least a portable secret realm to meet the minimum requirements to become its Wealth Administrator. No ordinary space storage treasures can meet those requirements.

“Furthermore, this treasury is very important because it’ll be connected to my origin, and if it gets destroyed, I’ll suffer not only a powerful backlash but also fall into slumber for a very long time before I can recover.”

Ace was startled as this wasn’t mentioned in the description, and he was glad Pixy told him. Furthermore, he was astounded when he heard the part about requirements.

“Portable Secret Realms? You mean those living space treasures?” He couldn’t help but inquire.

Pixy shook her head, “No, even those treasures aren’t enough. You should know that a secret realm is an independent space that can emulate basic rules and laws while also having its own ecosystem, right?

“First, there are secret realms that are naturally formed from freak accidents when the space from the main world tore apart or collapsed, and even then, the chance of a secret realm forming is extremely low. Because once a space collapses or is torn apart from the main world, it’ll become part of chaotic space, a secret realm with a stabilized space, right? So, you can only imagine what kind of sequences and coincidences it would take to create a stable space within the chaotic space.

“Second, there are secret realms created by powerful cultivators with space law, but even they need a core of a naturally formed secret realm to stabilize their own secret realms.

“Furthermore, depending on the space of the world, a secret realm is formed or created, and its initial grade will be decided. Like a secret realm from within the first heaven will always be limited to its restrictions and laws, it’ll never change, the same rules apply to the second heaven’s secret realms, and so forth.

“Depending on the level of a secret realm space, you can live there and cultivate. But no matter what, you’ll reach the limit of that secret realm at some point because it’s not complete.”

Pixy pulled a bitter smile as she said, “But the secret realm I need is the rarest of them all. These secret realms are actually formed through destroyed Worlds!”

Ace was shocked, “World? Are there other worlds than Heavens and Abysses?”

“We can indeed consider the Heavens and Abysses as worlds, but at the same time, they are not worlds. What is the world? There are different meanings; some consider a world to be the totality of entities, the whole of reality, or everything that exists. While most accurate beliefs are that the lands with their inhabitants and all things upon them are considered worlds.

“This topic is too profound, and to answer your question, what I mean is, didn’t you have a nascent world right within your heart? What will happen to your world once you die?” Pixy questioned with a profound expression.

Ace’s eyes widened as his heart raced, and he couldn’t help but touch his chest. A chill ran down his spine as someone clicked in his mind, “So, what you actually mean is secret realms can also be formed through a cultivator’s world or a dead cultivator’s world?!”

“Smart. A law state cultivator formed its world seed through a prime law and then nurtured it with auxiliary laws nine times before creating a basic world. If you think carefully, isn’t it the same as those secret realms?

“So, what can’t your world turn into a secret realm? In fact, the more powerful your world is, the higher its chances of becoming a secret realm, especially your primordial world! If you perished today, your nascent world would definitely be turned into a powerful secret realm after countless years of transformation, and it might even break the boundaries of the second heaven.

“Furthermore, an Ascension King’s inner world is a rare treasure in itself because it can be used to create a ‘Portable Secret Realm’ like a living space treasure, but with all the benefits of a secret realm with its laws and rules intact. And this is the minimum requirement for me to become a Wealth Administrator because even more powerful secret realms can be formed through more powerful cultivator worlds!” Pixy revealed in a solemn tone as her words were filled with hidden meanings and a warning.

‘T-this is fascinating…’ Ace’s eyes shimmered with fear, yet there was also excitement.

He knew he had learned a shocking secret, and his understanding of the cultivator worlds had increased by another level.

“Then what about Thief’s Space? Since it suits you so well, didn’t this mean it’s also formed through a ‘world’?” Ace quickly asked as he wanted Pixy’s confirmation since this would solve one of the system’s mysteries.

However, Pixy’s reply made him flabbergasted when she said, “I don’t know. This place indeed appeared to be formed by a primordial world, yet at the same time, it’s too profound and complex.

“In fact, even if you haven’t told me, I would’ve asked you to let me be this place’s Wealth Administrator because it’s not only met my requirements but exceeds them!”
