Counterfeit Hero

Fatty waved his hand and slapped Helen’s voluptuous buttocks, drawing a coquettish cry from her as he pulled her into his arms. In the brutal world of war, there are always some territories that remain warm.

Helen, Ann Lei, Bonnie, Milan... these girls had unwittingly become a part of his life. In this war-torn era, love always sprouts in unimaginable ways. Just being able to lean on each other and share the hardships is already a form of happiness. As for the rest... who the hell cares!

”You don’t look so well...” Helen’s watery eyes twinkled as Fatty slapped her. She blushed and said, ”I was a bit worried, so I came in to check on you...”

”Worried about what?” Fatty kissed Helen’s forehead. ”If you wanted to see me, you shouldn’t tease me like this. Fortunately, I have a strong will and was able to stop myself... Otherwise, our chastity would have been totally ruined.”

As the scoundrel spoke, he seemed completely unaware that his hand was still resting on that trembling breast, gently rubbing and teasing...

This is called chastity? Helen blushed with shame, slapped away Fatty’s mischievous hand, covered her white bosom with her arms, and spat.

”Unfortunately, there’s no time... I have to go trouble the Suss Transport Fleet now.” Fatty glanced at the clock on the wall. He helped Helen tidy her clothes, then smugly said, ”If you want to ruin my chastity... you better work me over for a few hours, make me beg for mercy before I’ll surrender.”

”Get out...” Helen threw a pillow, hitting Fatty’s back just as he was dashing for the door. With seductive eyes and biting her lip, she said, ”Be careful, you damn Fatty.”

***********

”How’s it going?” As soon as Fatty stepped out the door, he saw Markovich waiting at the entrance. ”Has the combat plan been finalized?”

”It’s done!” Markovich handed over the plan in his hand. ”However, there are still some debates about it in the Combat Department.”

”Debates?” Fatty was a bit stunned. In this era, due to the highly advanced military theories and technologies, creating a combat plan is very quick. Normally, hundreds of plans are made for any given operation, and after repeated simulations and calculations, the most suitable one is chosen.

As early as two days ago, the Combat Department had been simulating operations against the Suss Logistics Fleet currently appearing on the main route. These simulations were updated every two hours. With such a thorough grasp of all conditions, producing a unified plan should have been easy.

Who would have thought that a debate would arise at this point?

Fatty opened the folder. One glance was all it took for him to understand why the debate had emerged.

In addition to the six Suss Transport Fleets previously tracked by the bandit army’s Reconnaissance Ship, another Suss Logistics Fleet appeared in this combat plan.

This fleet comprised six large Transport Ships and sixteen medium Transport Ships. Unlike the other fleets, this Transport Fleet was escorted by a D-class combat fleet consisting of a ”Typhoon”-class Battleship, six ”Roar”-class cruisers, and twelve ”Sharp Blade”-class Destroyers.

And in the combat plan Fatty held, attacking this fleet was ranked as the top priority. This suggested that the Combat Department favored making this plan the main operational plan.

”Currently, Major Carl and Major General Fang Xiang have significant disagreements over the choice of the main plan,” Markovich explained. ”Major Carl believes that this heavily escorted logistics fleet is the best target for an attack on the Suss logistics line. Various signs suggest that whatever supplies or items this fleet is transporting are of great importance to the Suss garrison at Blue Stone Star Base. General Fang, however, opposes taking such a risk and believes a target that is easier to capture should be chosen.”

”Or maybe...” Fatty looked at the time, then turned to glance at his bedroom door, where the alluring Helen was lying on the bed. His mind wavered as he tentatively suggested, ”...should I go back to sleep a bit more?”

A moment of silence...

”Forget it...” Unable to resist Markovich’s icy expression, Fatty grumbled and said, ”Let’s go take a look.”

Storming into the base’s Combat Department simulation room in a huff, Fatty was shocked by the atmosphere inside.

All around the elliptical simulation room were computer screens displaying dense 3D maps and data markers of various Star Domains, star systems, and airspaces. Countless simulation plans were being run by automatic programs. The parameters representing the forces on both sides changed rapidly as the simulations progressed, constantly resetting and running new simulations.

At the center of the thousands-of-square-meters simulation room, dozens of newly appointed Combat Department staff were divided into two groups. They were gathered around the central simulation platform, arguing passionately and turning red in the face.

”Major Carl.” The speaker was a round-faced Saleria female staff member. Fatty recognized her as Cecilia, General Fang’s assistant, who was almost always by her side. With a deft finger, she enlarged a Meteorite Group on the virtual light screen, then aggressively questioned Carl, ”Could you please tell me when the enemy fleet will reach this obstacle area?”

”In sixteen hours,” Big Head Karl used his hand to draw a line on the virtual screen between a ship’s icon and the target airspace. As his finger moved, a stream of data rapidly changed along the line.
