Counterfeit Hero

He couldn’t wait or rather was uncontrollably eager to seize all of this. His entire mind was already consumed by this jealousy!

Then, impulsive and reckless, he was severely scolded by Fatty!

This grudge was thus formed!

Cheng Zhixuan paced back and forth in the dimly lit office. He didn’t want to fail just like that. Even if the bandit army couldn’t be controlled by him, by Chuckna, he didn’t want it to remain in the hands of that damned Fatty.

Since he had already been reassigned to the Southeast Allied Army as the head of the Combat Department, and since he couldn’t get the bandit army for Chuckna, then using this force as a gift for the upcoming Mars Front Army Commander Carolina, and clinging tightly to Fiscella’s leg, was the best way to get promoted!

Fiscella’s plan had been more than half ruined by Fatty’s move to cut off the supply, but on Mars, there were still dozens of small sects. In his hands, he also had Absolute Kill Stream and Tai Sect! No matter what, organize a martial arts tournament first, and spread this message throughout the Mars Free Channel!

With the allure of Mars’ autonomy and Fei Alliance membership, with promises of military rank, positions, and wealth, no matter where the Sect Mutual Aid Alliance’s people were, they would hear this news and be tempted! At worst, he could also gather these small sects and Mechanical Armor Halls of Mars, filling this empty military camp, so as not to appear so pathetic in front of Carolina and Fiscella!

”Knock, knock, knock!”

There was a knock at the door, and Cheng Zhixuan impatiently said, ”Come in!”

Kubo and the Absolute Kill Sect Master Kirburn, each leading two or three core members of their sects, walked into the office.

”Take a seat.” Cheng Zhixuan gestured with his hand and sat down behind the desk: ”Have you read the announcement and instructions sent to you?”

”Yes.” Kubo and Kirburn nodded respectively.

Since the end of the Mars war, Kubo and Kirburn had joined the camp of the Longxing Association.

Kubo had no choice but to join due to his grudge against Fatty. As for Kirburn, he hoped for a stronger backing for Absolute Kill Stream, which only had over a hundred Mech Knights left.

This time, they received a transfer order, being moved from the Longxing Association to the newly forming Fei Alliance Mars Front Army.

When they received the instructions, Kubo and Kirburn were somewhat secretly pleased. The Sect War had already consumed most of their strength, and to rise again, they had to seize all opportunities. Now, this opportunity had come.

Especially Kirburn, he knew that whoever joins in the early stages of a company, a community organization, or an army always stands to gain significant benefits. This transfer order not only connected him to the more powerful Feiyang Republic but also made him a founding member of the Mars Front Army!

More importantly, it was that announcement!

All of them were clever individuals, how could he not understand the intentions of Fiscella and Cheng Zhixuan.

The conflict between the Fei Alliance Southeastern United Command and the bandit army, which consisted of the majority of sects, provided their two major sects an opportunity!

As long as they relied on Fiscella, they didn’t have to show their faces, and they could watch as the Sect Mutual Aid Alliance eroded, allowing Absolute Kill Stream to once again lead other sects. When other sects struggled with legality and illegality, it would be the time for Absolute Kill Stream to grow stronger. Moreover, it gave him a chance to gain a foothold in Mars’ autonomous government!

These were Kirburn’s thoughts. As he saw it, it was the same for Kubo.

He didn’t know, although Kubo also acknowledged this as an opportunity, Kubo’s intentions were completely different from his.

”I won’t say more nonsense.” Cheng Zhixuan’s fingers tapped nervously under the table: ”General Fiscella is very dissatisfied with the bandit army’s actions, and this time, the command center plans to establish a new order on Mars through the martial arts tournament. Who is the owner here is not for them to decide!”

Cheng Zhixuan took out two signed documents from the drawer and handed them to Kubo and Kirburn, then continued: ”These are the first two legal organization review documents issued by the command center. With this, you can serve the Mars Front Army while continuing to run your sects!”

After Kubo and Kirburn had read through the documents, Cheng Zhixuan said in a deep voice: ”You have already moved ahead of other sects. Your honor, status, wealth, the future of your sect and personal future depend on whether you can manage this martial arts tournament well! I will be responsible for organizing the martial arts tournament, and you need to ensure that the tournament champion does not fall into someone else’s hands!”

Saying this, Cheng Zhixuan looked at Kirburn and said, ”Especially you, Mr. Kirburn, you are the number one Level 1 Mecha War God of Mars Free Port! This shouldn’t be a difficult task for you, right? You need to know, this martial arts tournament was specially prepared for your two major sects, otherwise, if the autonomous government list of sects is dictated, some people might not want to see your names.”

Cheng Zhixuan’s words were not entirely honest, with a rather obvious provocative intent. He and Fiscella’s initial plan was to win over the Sect Mutual Aid Alliance by setting up a martial arts tournament. The first was to appear to adhere to the traditional Mars stance, offering an allure to the major sects. The second was to use this to disrupt the sects’ tacit understanding, incite competition, and control them more easily.
