Counterfeit Hero

Here, even though it’s the center of the Mars Free Channel, holding personnel, resources, and productivity desperately needed by the bandit army, Fatty understands that it’s all just an empty promise. Once the Suss Fleet regains focus, and approaches Mars, even the strongest bandit army will be trapped like fish in a barrel.

To stay here and get battered is something Master Fatty would never do—eat and run is his never-wavering belief. From the start, he never planned to trap himself in Mars Free Port.

Whatever the Fei Alliance Joint Command, whatever the Mars Front Army, whatever the Longxing Association, whatever the Mars Government, let them make as much trouble as they want. Master Fatty won’t join the commotion, he’s too timid, afraid of getting blood splattered on him. The bandit army just needs to hide in places where it can’t be found and fire a few shots from the dark. To live with constant fear would cause constipation, and if it affects his libido, how would Master Fatty live?

Being a local tyrant on this planet is for idiots!

Currently, the bandit army’s Base No.1 has completed its expansion, and the expansion of No.2 Base is underway. The main forces and personnel from the logistics and manufacturing departments of the bandit army arrived at Base No.1 a week ago. Remaining in Puluo Town, aside from some infantry and recruits who have yet to complete screening and training, there is no one else. The transfer of mechanical supplies is also in its final stages; Mars Planet is as clean as if devoured by locusts, leaving nothing worth looting.

Such large-scale transfers naturally drew the attention of the Longxing Association. For the past few days, Su Kezhou has been visiting Puluo Town almost daily, bugging Fatty and subtly probing for the bandit army’s plans, confused and extremely anxious about the disappearance of personnel and resources. Just yesterday, Longxing Association’s Green Flag Fleet tried to track the bandit army’s transport ships but ended up being blocked by the Second Fleet led by Barbarossa.

Su Kezhou realized he underestimated the bandit army. That ”Shattered Ghost” fleet, dedicated to standing up for Leray people, evidently has an inexplicable relationship with Fatty, who shakes his head and denies everything. Coupled with the Redbeard Pirate Fleet defiantly taking over the Northern Alliance Fleet, the strength of the bandit army is undoubtedly comparable to that of Longxing Association!

Two fleets from Chuckna have already entered the Southeast Main Channel, and the channel skirmish with the Suss Fleet is imminent. Clearly, Mars Free Port is a critical point that the Suss Fleet must control. They won’t allow any forces that threaten their flank, which explains their support for the Northern Alliance.

Previously, Su Kezhou always thought the bandit army was only stationed at Puluo Town. In the event of a Suss Empire attack on the Free Port, the bandit army would have no escape and nothing but resistance could be expected from them.

But unexpectedly, during the battle at Central City, the bandit army captured the entire Northern Alliance Command Center and took control of all the Northern Alliance fleets stationed along Mars Channel.

When all the various sects’ commerce groups, guard fleets, and transport fleet personnel gathered at Puluo Town, donning the bandit’s blue uniforms to board these thousands of assorted vessels, Su Kezhou knew it was no longer possible to push this army to the forefront as before!

Longxing Association must sincerely cooperate with the bandit army to fulfill the orders from Chuckna Military Department and hold Mars Free Port.

However, what Su Kezhou never expected was that the bandit army not only has a fleet but also unknown bases hidden somewhere! And the Fatty in front of him, slipperier than a mudfish, never even considered sincere cooperation. This guy got enough out of Mars Free Port and simply left, to an outrageous extent!

The most infuriating part is that every time he came here, before he even spoke, this Fatty would start complaining, vehemently scolding the Sect Mutual Aid Alliance for being shameless, for leaving after eating, ignoring the Fei Alliance Major General, short-sighted and inconsiderate of the bigger picture. While cursing, he would slap his fat chest, spraying spittle and swearing that he would fight against Suss to the end, coexist with Longxing Association!

This scoundrel demeanor could drive a person to their grave. How ludicrous that Cheng Zhixuan has been in contact with Fiscella recently, planning to accept the bandit army, whereas shortly, even Fatty might have disappeared without a trace. Once the Suss Fleet arrives, Longxing Association will be the only force left at the forefront!

Therefore, seeing Fatty ready to vent his grievances as soon as he arrived, Su Kezhou became furious.

”The Allies are currently crushed by the Western Alliance in the Southeast Star Domain and the enemy occupies Leray Central Star Domain. The Suss Jiepeng and Desic, the Three Great Empires have already united. Now, whether it’s in your Leray’s Atlantis Star Domain and Gazalin Little Pyrenees Star Domain line, or in the current Tatania and Puditok nations, they’re facing significant threats from the Western Alliance.” Su Kezhou paced back and forth, anxiously said, ”These two major battlefronts in the north and south have been segmented by the Western Alliance. If either falls, it would be a disaster for the Fei Alliance!”

Su Kezhou appeared somewhat agitated: ”Now, the only hope we have is ourselves. Chuckna has already counter-attacked Resk. As long as we can control the main channel, the Western Alliance’s logistics route, their bases in Saleria, and the Jiepeng Base in the Bermuda Star System will be under our threat! They wouldn’t dare to deploy their forces fully! Don’t you understand these principles?”

Fatty stuffed two rolled-up paper slips into his nostrils and dumbly nodded at Su Kezhou.

”Since you understand, why do you act this way?” Su Kezhou looked at Fatty’s face with two rolls of white paper resembling a sea elephant, and said furiously, ”Don’t tell me the bandit army isn’t under your control. What you’re doing is ignoring the bigger picture.”

”Well.....” Fatty laughed: ”If I make the Sect Mutual Aid Alliance obey and act as your direct troops, to stop the gunfire, does that count as considering the bigger picture?”

He sighed and shrugged: ”I wish I could, but they don’t listen to me. Last time I lost my temper, slammed the table, and said, if it wasn’t for me.....”

Seeing the veins bulging on Su Kezhou’s forehead, Fatty begrudgingly shut his mouth.

The room fell silent for a moment.

After a while, Su Kezhou finally sighed and sat on the sofa. He knew that, besides the Longxing Association turning a blind eye to Puluo Town, just Chuckna’s original war policies would give the Leray Fatty a thousand reasons to hide away. Leray Central Star Domain has already been compromised, claiming the Western Alliance’s attack on Atlantis and Gazalin is merely an excuse, after all. Controlling the main channel is ultimately due to the strategic needs of the Feiyang Republic and Chuckna.

This Fatty, in any case, would never risk all his hard-earned resources for this. Facing Suss head-on, not even a possibility.

”Let’s not discuss anything else, I understand you had concerns about our previous indifference.” Su Kezhou took out a piece of intelligence transferred from Chuckna and handed it to Fatty: ”I just hope you can give a definitive answer, once the channel war starts, will you stand idly by?”

”I was planning to coexist with Longxing Association.” Fatty glanced at the document, using his fingers to stroke his chin, replied in a guttural voice: ”But those guys are very realistic, without any benefits, they would disown anyone....”

As he spoke, suddenly, a staff officer of the bandit army knocked on the door and entered.

”General!” The staff officer saw Su Kezhou in the office, disdainfully averted his gaze, walked quickly to Fatty, handed over a document, and angrily said, ”This is an announcement and order just issued by the Fei Alliance.”

Su Kezhou peeked at it and immediately felt a deafening roar in his head, as if it were about to explode.
