Counterfeit Hero

Puluo Town Scadivow Base, the sky is clear and bright.

In the sunlight, two spindle-shaped transport ships, one high and one low, were hovering in the air, gradually descending under the guidance of flags held by the ground navigator. The roar of the massive anti-gravity devices enveloped the airspace above the landing pad, causing the isolation net surrounding it to ripple delicately like water.

On the transport platform beside the landing pad, a variety of materials had already piled up. Dozens of mechas were transporting aviation containers onto the conveyor belt of the cargo elevator. Below the platform, hundreds of cargo mechas and heavy trucks lined up in over a dozen long queues, densely packed, like ants scurrying under a tree stump, tirelessly moving back and forth.

Fatty stood by the window, staring at the landing pad with boredom for a long time. He smoked a cigarette, drank two glasses of water, ate a cake, went to the toilet, and exhausted all sorts of antics before helplessly sitting back on his chair. He continued to worry as he stared at the material list on the computer.

As the bandit army grew stronger, the logistics department’s tasks became increasingly heavy. Before opening up new resource channels, how to reasonably utilize existing equipment and resources was the most important task for the bandit army. And in this regard, those scientists accustomed to lavish spending were clearly lacking.

Therefore, this task naturally fell onto Fatty’s shoulders. However, to make sense of this immense inventory list and establish a comprehensive, waste-free mecha and battleship modification process and industrial system for the bandit army was no easy feat.

As he looked at the list, Fatty terribly missed the little kid.

”Hey...” Helen walked into the office holding a stack of electronic folders, waving her hand in front of the absent-minded Fatty, ”This is the latest material list...”

Fatty remained in a daze.

Helen rolled her eyes at Fatty, brushed her wavy golden hair behind her ear, and walked over to the sleek white alloy information desk. She bent over, slotting the electronic folders she was holding one by one into the card slots.

Due to her posture, Helen’s back view was now incredibly enticing. Her wavy golden long hair draped over her shoulders, her slender waistline forming a graceful arch over her rounded buttocks. The thin skirt tightly wrapped around her hips from bending over allowed a faint glimpse of her panties.

”Pipi...” Fatty’s eyes were vacant, ”Pipi!”

Helen’s body suddenly went stiff. This rascal!

With a blush, she propped herself on the desk with one hand, biting her lip with a slightly mocking expression. Her eyes fluttering with amusement, she turned her head, ”Am I pretty?”

Fatty’s eyes regained focus, slightly stunned, instinctively and professionally sizing up Helen as if stripping her clothing with his eyes, he nodded.

”Then...” Helen straightened up, turned around, her expression carrying an indescribable meaning amidst a slightly mocking smile, ”Should I marry you?”

With her hands behind her back, her bosom appeared all the more high and prominent, and the faint blush on her face made her even more charming and alluring.

The number one beauty of Leray was publicly acknowledged.

The atmosphere froze slightly. Fatty was tongue-tied.

Time passed silently, Helen’s fingers picked up and put down an electronic folder behind her back repeatedly. She seemed to be hesitating. In the silence, her eyes began to glimmer, and her breathing became slightly rapid.

”What are you up to?” Fatty’s eyes gradually grew wary. He turned slightly to the side, glancing sideways, crossing his arms to protect his chest, ”I have a girlfriend already!”

”Pop!”

A dark object flashed by.

Fatty’s head jerked back abruptly, nose bleeding as an electronic folder fell to the ground.

Helen stormed out of the office in her high heels.

The folder was finally thrown!

This Fatty is looking for trouble!

Su Kezhou brushed past the furious Helen.

He walked into the room and saw Fatty holding his nose in astonishment, ”What happened here?”

”Sigh...” Seeing Su Kezhou, Fatty let out a long sigh, his eyes suddenly turning red, ”Not only was I abandoned after being used, but even people in Leray dislike me. Alienated by everyone... life is unbearable! Back then, if it weren’t for me...”

”Enough!” Su Kezhou, wishing he could punch Fatty’s bloody nose again, immediately waved it off, ”Today, saying more is useless, you have to give an explanation!”

Fatty, with a nosebleed, looked sincerely at Su Kezhou, their eyes meeting closely.

It’s been a week since the Sect War ended.

After the battle ended, the bandit army became busier than during the fighting phase. Under Fatty’s command, the bandit army, which had swelled to 200,000 people, threw themselves wholeheartedly into the grand mission of ”looting resources.”

Whether it was the core armored units, the fleet just taken over from the Northern Alliance, the infantry division gathered for training, or the innumerable martial arts sects, the tens of thousands of young Mars recruits who had just joined the bandit army, they all turned into fleets and convoys, traveling back and forth on resource roads, to major port cities, and in and out of the tens of thousands of storage centers, industrial areas, and bases of various sizes spread across Mars. Each had a gunny sack in hand, and everything seemed tempting to their eyes.

In this all-out plunder, the bandit army quickly transformed from paupers to nouveau riche. Various resources continuously converged together and were transported back to No.1 and No.2 bases via transport ships. Even the Northern Industrial Zone of Central City had been emptied.
