Counterfeit Hero

Speaking, Chekov took out another document and said, ”In terms of communication, although we are still subject to interference and tracking by the Western Alliance, with the geometric relays of micro-detectors, they can’t pinpoint our position. However, the quality of communication is somewhat affected, and sometimes a malfunction in a micro-detector can cause interruptions.”

Handing the folder to Fatty, Chekov continued, ”This is intelligence from General Bernadotte. Currently, two mixed fleets from Chuckna have entered the main route, and it’s estimated they will reach Mars first. Major General Carolina, the overall commander of the Mars Front Army, is in this fleet. They will join forces with a Feiyang B-Class Mixed Fleet that has already passed through the Resk Star System to form the main force against the Western Alliance Fleet on the main route. On Mars Planet, Carolina will lead a Feiyang Armored Division arriving with the Feiyang B-Class Fleet to cooperate with the Longxing Association, using Mars Planet as the core base to open a second battlefield in the Southeast Star Domain. To the south, they can restrain the Western Alliance’s attack on Fiscella, and to the north, they can coordinate with Chuckna’s counter-offensive against the Resk Star System.”

”Using Mars Planet as the core base?” Fatty, seemingly at a loss, leaned close to Fang Xiang and asked, ”Sister Xiang, what do you think?”

In this atmosphere of harmony deliberately created by the skilled and cunning individuals, Fang Xiang felt no resistance to being called Sister Xiang, and instead, she was delighted by the obedience and respect shown by Fatty, this brother of the Leray Hero. Moreover, she had long integrated into the group of bandit army. After pondering for a moment, she said, ”Our strength is still weak, and we can’t afford losses. Having the Fei Alliance and Chuckna attracting the Western Alliance’s attention on Mars Planet is good for us. However, ultimately, we are allies in the army, sharing common interests. If we want to obtain space and time for development and expansion, we must help Carolina firmly hold off the Western Alliance.”

”I agree with Sister Xiang’s opinion!” Fatty, understanding the truth that no one can resist flattery, loudly praised, ”Sister Xiang indeed is an excellent commander, hitting the nail on the head. To say something a bit embarrassing, Sister Xiang and I, we think alike!”

Saying this, the shameless rogue and Fang Xiang exchanged a smile, feeling a strong sense of camaraderie and sibling-like affinity.

”But....” Having spent a long time with Fatty, Chekov had become very skilled at playing the straight man. He frowned and said, ”Mars Free Port is the material distribution center for the entire Freedom Channel. According to statistics, after the Sect War ended, trade ship traffic and material throughput have recovered to forty percent within just a week. Now it’s still climbing. Although we acquired some materials early on, not having Mars under our control will greatly impact our future development. If the Southeast Allied Army Command insists on identifying this organization as illegal, I’m afraid...”

”Colonel Chekov, in terms of strategic perspective, you’re inferior to Sister Xiang.” Fatty smiled benignly, subtly flattering, ”The development of the bandit army absolutely cannot be tied to Mars Free Port. Mars Free Port and Mars Free Channel are two different things. As long as we have the channel, our reach can extend much further.”

”Exactly!” Fang Xiang gave Fatty an approving look and smiled, ”Actually, before intercepting the Suss Fleet, General Tolstoy had already left a fallback plan for the Longbow Fleet. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have come to Mars Free Channel.” As she spoke, she removed a ring from her hand, gently pushed it, and inserted a needle-shaped electronic document interface into Fatty’s electronic document. ”Today, I’m laying it out for everyone.... This is a materials procurement channel designed by General Tolstoy for the Saleria Fleet, and the list includes smugglers and Commerce Group merchants who have received his favor in Saleria. They share two common traits: they are incredibly resourceful, and they belong to neither the Fei Alliance nor the Western Alliance.”

”One point six billion Fei Yuan!” Fatty’s eyes skimmed the list and immediately landed on another figure: ”So much money! A dowry? Private stash?”

”Military expenses!” Fang Xiang rolled her eyes at Fatty and put away the ring.

”By the way....” Fatty thought of his own assets. During this time, he’d been conducting cashless transactions, so the funds hadn’t been touched. Now that Mars was secured, it was time to reap the rewards! He immediately asked Chekov, ”How much money do we have now?”

”Hehehe...” Chekov rubbed his hands and laughed clumsily.

”Tell me, how much!” Fatty, impatient, grabbed Chekov by the collar, ”Quick, tell me!”

”I don’t know either.” Chekov said with a silly grin, ”... I’ve been busy looting all this time. How much we have, you’d have to ask Audrey.”

”Audrey?!” Fatty felt a bit guilty. Ever since leaving the transport ship, he noticed that the young lady’s expression didn’t seem right.

It was said that once Meiduo arrived at the base, Audrey was with Meiduo every day.

This was troubling. Fatty had taken advantage of Audrey quite a bit, and he understood her intentions. He was already having headaches over it, and thinking of her knowing Milan and now controlling his finances, Fatty felt a chill down his spine, wishing he could slap himself twice.

This was the consequence of being careless with his words and actions.

Fatty turned his head, just in time to see Audrey turn her face away, seemingly not having heard his and Chekov’s conversation at all.

Though he wanted not to ask, curiosity got the better of him. Fatty scratched his head for a long time and finally couldn’t help but approach Audrey with a fawning face, ”Audrey..... How much money do we have?”

”I don’t know!” Audrey wanted to keep a straight face, but ultimately couldn’t endure Fatty’s ingratiating demeanor. Her tightly pressed lips trembled, and she ended up barely containing a smile.

”My money...” Fatty nudged Audrey ambiguously, lowering his eyes and said, ”Isn’t it your money? I just want to know a number.”

”Pff.....” Audrey burst into laughter and spat, ”Who wants your money..... 9.2 billion Fei Yuan!”

”How much?” Fatty’s eyes widened, ”Nine…. Nine…..”

”9.2 billion!” Audrey said angrily, ”What, do you think I’m slow at dealing with your loot?! Get someone else if you want!”

”No…..No…. I didn’t mean….” Fatty stammered, gulping down several mouthfuls of saliva, ”I mean….. How much more do we have that can be sold?”

”Unsuitable goods, luxuries, medications, and ships and minerals for special sale.... Combining everything miscellaneous, around seventy percent is left!” Audrey said irritably, ”It’s not that I’m slow. You guys looted so much like wolves!”

”Thirty percent sold for 9.2 billion….” Fatty’s mouth twitched, his expression stiffened.

Although he knew that Mars, with its trade and smuggling business, had massive volumes of material coming and going, he was still stunned to hear the figure of 9.2 billion.

92 billion divided by 0.3 is 306 billion! Adding ongoing supply deliveries, what a massive fortune this is!

Not just Fatty, even Chekov, Barbarossa, and Fang Xiang were also a bit dazed.

Everyone looked at each other, and their eyes were filled with immense excitement!

The approximate cost to build a Destroyer is 90 million Fei Yuan. A top-tier Feiyang [Frenzied Shark] heavy destroyer costs 400 million Fei Yuan, while the most expensive Feiyang [Unicorn] class battleship costs 1.2 billion Fei Yuan. Even constructing a single [Gods] class aircraft carrier, including fighter aircraft, would cost just 8 billion Fei Yuan!

What does this mean? Everyone found it hard to compute!

Fatty counted on his fingers for a long time before finally looking up, confused, ”A premium [Spring Hall] doll with icy skin and a child-like voice, costing 18,888 Fei Yuan each, how many of those can we buy?”
