Counterfeit Hero

Absolute Kill Stream and Mountain Breaker Stream have always maintained contact with the Suss Empire. The three major schools are all vying to seize the initiative as the situation changes. The reason they have not taken action is because none of them are confident in defeating the others. If the two factions go to war, the only ones who would benefit are the third party.

Thinking about the two major schools, the Western Alliance, and the Fei Alliance, and thinking about the upcoming challenge match. In a flash of inspiration, Kubo’s eyes glowed like those of a hunting feline.

He suddenly thought, if during this challenge match, he kept that Fatty at the forefront, letting him wreak havoc, and if two weeks from now in the championship match, he let that Fatty compete, and if the Absolute Kill Stream and Mountain Breaker Stream, not knowing any better, killed the Fatty....

Lighting a cigar, Kubo took a leisurely puff. Isn’t Fatty a top fighter? Borrow his blade to challenge the two major schools! Haven’t the two major schools always wanted to take down the Tai Sect? Borrow their blades to kill Fatty. And once Fatty is dead, would the Fei Alliance lurking in the background just let it go?

Often, interests can be maximized.

After ending the call with Chekov, Fatty stood on the balcony, quietly gazing at the twinkling stars in the night sky, his eyes filled with confusion.

In the distant Leray, such a serene starry sky no longer exists. There, only war remains, only the sound of blaring bugles, boiling blood, and relentless fighting. No one has the leisure to sit on a balcony and watch the stars. The front line is fighting, and the rear is producing. War has twisted the trajectory of every Leray person’s life.

Why am I sitting here? How did I come to this star domain that seems unrelated to my life’s journey?

Fate is so wondrous and so damned! A Fatty, insignificant as dust in the universe, wanting to single-handedly mend the sky, is just so absurd!

How much longer can the Leray Federation hold on?

Thinking for a while about Ann Lei, for a while about Milan, then for a while about Bonnie, and then thinking about all the beauties he had come into contact with. Fatty shook his head vigorously. He felt ashamed of his own sentimentality. The end hasn’t come yet. What’s most important now...... Helen is taking a bath!

He checked the time.... it should almost be time for her to be naked.

Damn it, the Federation’s number one beauty is actually occupying Master Fatty’s bathroom to bathe... Fatty resentfully felt that this was a provocation, an absolute blatant provocation!

With a leap, his fat body sprang like a flying penguin onto the balcony. Another push of his legs, and his body was already lightly hanging onto the bathroom’s exhaust window.

With a pull-up, he gently peeked his head out, glaring angrily into the bathroom.....

To a perverted voyeur with an extremely twisted view of life, values, world, and aesthetics, the meaning of a happy life was limited to this—Even when life is down, one must enjoy to the fullest, and never let the eyes gaze at the moon in vain. Missing such a voyeuristic opportunity, he would never forgive himself!

Inside the bathroom, white steam swirled and rolled. A delicate, fair, nearly perfect naked body soaked in an oval bathtub. The surface of the bathwater was full of foam. Fatty stared excitedly at the two white blobs protruding from the foam for a long time, finally confirming, damn it, those were Helen’s knees.....

Unaware of the sneaky, obscene gaze from outside the window, Helen let her body be enveloped by the warmth and buoyancy of the water. Her eyes were dazedly looking at the ceiling.

As a girl who grew up in a prestigious family, pampered in every way, these past days had turned her entire world upside down.

The romantic fantasies of war were thrown to the winds at the moment the Blue Rose collided with the enemy ship, in the violent impact.

From that moment, Helen realized war was so cruel, so bloody, and so lonely. Human life was so fragile.

She gently lifted some water and let it flow over her shoulder, feeling the warmth of the water, which gave a sense of being alive. Just a few hours ago, she had desperately wished for death.

Helen’s eyes slowly glanced at the bathroom door. If that Fatty hadn’t appeared in time outside that door, she couldn’t imagine what would have become of her. It would have been an unbearable nightmare for her innocent life......

Turning back, in the misty mirror was a beautiful, exquisite face. Helen quietly looked at herself. She knew since childhood that she was beautiful. This beauty had never dimmed regardless of time or place. Even among the many beauties of the television station, she was the most beautiful.

Leray Federation’s number one beauty. This title used to fill her with such pride.

But now, she realized that such beauty only existed in times of peace. In the brutality of war, the true beauty that makes one’s heart tremble is the silent struggle in despair and loneliness, Fatty’s clumsy yet agile body, the fierce fight out of rage.

The face in the mirror blushed with two pink hues. Just thinking about that figure moving like Thunderbolt for her in despair made Helen feel tingly all over.

Women are always emotional, always have a hero complex.

Helen was no exception. At this moment, she realized, even in the cruel and monotonous war, by looking closely, one could see the blood-stained romance between life and death.
