Counterfeit Hero

Puluo Town, located to the west of Mars Central City. Although it is merely a town, it is the most densely populated commercial district in Mars Free Port Center City. Here not only exists giant ground airports of ten spaceports, but also three large commodity trading markets, an auction house, and hundreds of large warehouses.

Surrounding these central resources are transportation, housing, malls, entertainment, and dining, all thriving abundantly.

Looking down from the sky, next to the spiraling elevated highway at the center of Puluo Town is the neon-lit commercial district. Surrounding the commercial area are various sizes of hotels, brothels, and casinos. Further out, on the hills by Puluo Leaf Lake, amid the cover of leaves, is the rich men’s district, where luxurious villas compete for ostentation and wealth.

To the north of Puluo Town lies the ordinary residential area. Hundreds of space cities stand like hundreds of towering giants. Within their bodies, millions of inhabitants reside.

Further north of the space cities is the slum area. There, densely packed low shacks are built. Between the houses, there are only narrow and damp alleyways. There, only basic living facilities exist. The environmental systems available in the space cities are absent in the slum area.

On the streets of Puluo Town, you can see luxury flying cars priced so exorbitantly that they are beyond acceptance, and you can also see delivery men shuttling through the streets on electric motorbikes they have made themselves. You can see savage rogues and fiery girls; you can also spot genteel scholars and honest school-uniformed youths.

Although it seems somewhat strange, if you delve into the history of Mars Planet, you’ll discover that this planet was meant to be this way. Here, it was not originally a free world. Thousands of years ago, it too was under national sovereignty, with abundant resources and a normal social order.

However, with the disintegration of the Earth Federation, repeated wars, the exhaustion of planetary resources, and the influx of criminals, pirates, mercenary armies, and free enterprises from various countries, this immigration star with a history older than many capital planets has gradually become what it is today.

Getting off the flying car, Fatty looked at the Tai Sect’s Puluo Town Branch building, frowning slightly.

This red building, is this really the first station of his rapid seizure of the free world in order to stall the progress of war?

He turned and glanced at First Avenue of Puluo Town.

On both sides of this avenue, which runs through the center of Puluo Town, Mingxin Sect, Absolute Kill Stream, Mountain Breaker Sect, Storm Dao, Thousand Army Sect, Huaxing Sect, Black Dragon Sect, Killing Armor Sect... and many other sects are shoulder to shoulder. Huge neon billboards flashing dazzling colors. Underneath the signs, various shapes of mecha models fully reflected the technical styles of each sect.

Although he was not very familiar with the fighting skills of these folk sects, with Fatty’s understanding of mecha structures, he could see at a glance the technical characteristics represented by these mechas.

This is a world hiding many masters. For thousands of years, the essence of private mecha close combat has been right on this street!

Although his hand speed had already broken through 70 movements, and his application of Mecha Martial Arts had become increasingly proficient, Tian Xingjian understood well that in this world, there’s always someone better. What he excelled most at was the deadly switch between long-range and close combat, but when it came to close-combat techniques, these sects’ centuries-old legacies were not something he could take lightly.

Even when he was just daydreaming about mechas, mecha masters from these sects had already become famous worldwide. And behind them, those silent but ever-present Mechanical Gods made ordinary people look up in awe. Their existence had already become a legend.

In this era, following the emergence of the Binart Empire’s Twelfth Generation Mecha, the trend of military mecha close-range assaults has become increasingly significant. The obsolescence of long-range attack technology highlights the value of these sects and their disciples. Once unified, they can form a powerful force!

To break the indelible traditions and rules formed over centuries in the Free World, and to seize the Free World before the Western Alliance and Fei Alliance, he must use his position in the Tai Sect to make as much trouble as possible. Only in muddy water can one catch the fish, heh heh.

The red Tai Sect Puluo Town Branch building stood quietly. Though the building was quite conspicuous on this street, the entrance looked too deserted.

”I say...” The plain-faced Fatty immediately put on an unhappy expression trained during scams, muttering, ”How come, as a new official taking office, not even a welcome team is in sight? Not to mention flowers, firecrackers, and red carpet, there isn’t even anyone to greet me?”

The luxurious flying car driver responsible for bringing Fatty here glanced at him and thought silently, ”Flowers, firecrackers, red carpet, this Fatty must be a country bumpkin.”

On the other side of the flying car, a short and thin man in his fifties quickly got out of the car and ran to Fatty’s side, rubbing his hands obsequiously, saying, ”Elder Guo, I’m truly sorry, I only received Director Kubo’s notice last night. Those brats didn’t know you were coming today; they’re probably all training in the underground mecha training room...”

”Oh, I see...” Fatty nodded honestly, easily accepting the explanation. For Fatty, who emerged unexpectedly by coercing Kubo, he was mentally prepared. That Kubo, placing him in the Puluo Town Branch, clearly bore ill intentions.
