Counterfeit Hero

The DE-454 Star System, which is only four jumps away from the DE-176 Public Star System where the Redbeard Pirate Group is located, is a vast starfish-shaped star system. In the Asian Elephant Constellation within the DE-4541 Star System, there are six jump points concentrated. Here, it is also the main base of the Demon’s Eye pirate group,

At this moment, Great Commander Steelman is sitting in a velvet-covered chair, enjoying his dinner.

”Recently...” Steelman placed a piece of cut beef into his mouth with a fork, chewing slowly, his neatly trimmed golden beard moving with his lips: ”That bunch of Redbeard seem to have quieted down quite a bit.”

Second Commander Peterson reached out and took the whiskey on the table, pouring it for Steelman, and frowned: ”Some time ago, their main force looted a commerce group transporting ores in the Pyramid Constellation. After their success, they suddenly disappeared. Is it possible something happened to them?”

”Have they sold their ores?” Steelman carefully cut the steak on his plate.

”I heard they gave them to that old guy Klaus, but they haven’t been sold yet,” Peterson said as he placed the empty bottle aside, got up, and took another bottle of strong brand whiskey from the wine cabinet, habitually tearing off the label. While pouring himself a drink, he said: ”That’s a lot of money.”

”How much can ores be worth?” Steelman sneered. He put down the knife and fork in his hand, grabbed a napkin to wipe his mouth, and said with a cold smile: ”Once we hook up with Suss, do they still have a place in this star domain?! This time, we lost two armed merchant ships and four torpedo boats, but soon we’ll get a military-equipped cruiser. Now that is profitable business.”

”The most important thing is...” Steelman looked at Peterson with pride: ”We have the support of the Western Alliance. In this star domain, what can’t we do?”

”That’s right, that’s right!” Peterson rubbed his hands excitedly: ”Big brother, when do you think those Binart people’s actions will end? Damn it, are they going to keep the BU route blocked like this? When will we be able to get our ship!”

”Impatient people can never appreciate the beauty of waiting...” Steelman smiled slightly, picking up the knife and fork again: ”We were driven from the Golden Triangle Region to here by Redbeard, we have waited for ten years, do we care about these few days? Once we get the ship, hmph, I will make Hayreddin understand, this is not the Golden Triangle Star Domain!”

********************************

Ulianov stood on the bridge like a javelin.

In front of this highly ambitious Imperial Admiral of the Suss Empire, was the large battleship’s porthole. Outside the window, the stars shone brightly. The constant star in front of the fleet emitted a dazzling light. Nine Typhoon-class battleships and two Admiral Yangkevich-class space carriers, accompanied by dozens of Konstantin-class cruisers and hundreds of destroyers, were breaking through space.

The light of the constant star cast a dazzling glow on this magnificent mixed fleet.

”I love this moment...” Ulianov enthusiastically looked at the view outside the window: ”The cold metal warships, embarking on their journey through the universe, always exude a heart-refreshing beauty. I highly doubt that there is anything we can’t conquer in front of this magnificent fleet!”

”Fifty years of confinement in the east.” The half-bald, short-statured Deputy Commander of the Southeastern Front Army’s Second Mixed Fleet of the Suss Empire, Gershkov, stood quietly half a step behind Ulianov, his voice like a whisper: ”The Empire’s ambitions have long been boiling. The great victory in Resk finally opened our way south. Now, all eyes are on us.”

Ulianov’s gaze, sharpened by the words of his partner, seemed to pierce through the cosmic veil, reaching the land ten jumps away, where chaos was at its peak.

”Order the fleet, full speed ahead!” Ulianov suddenly turned, his piercing gaze sweeping through the control room, looking at the rows of officers standing solemnly behind him, and shouted: ”This is a rare battle opportunity, the Empire’s resources are depleted. To build this Imperial Force, the Royal Family has exhausted all its efforts. Now, it is time for us to repay the Empire with our blood and cannons! Send a message to the First Mixed Fleet, the Second Fleet will arrive at the assembly point in seven days as scheduled!”

”For the Empire!” Gershkov stood upright, shouting loudly.

”Advance!” The solemn officers erupted like ignited gunpowder, letting out a hoarse, frenzied roar.

Outside the window, the constant star receded, its light fading. The cold steel warships moved forward silently.
