Chapter 837 Garos And Aakesh(End)

Chapter 838: Garos and Aakesh(End)

Aakesh, who seemed to have all the time in the world, had no interest in listening to Garosʼs ramble. His voice turned cold as he told Garos either to pay the compensation or leave the store.

Garos, who had only started, stopped immediately. Invisible energy began to manifest along with the store ownerʼs voice.

Garos had a feeling that if he dared to speak, his mouth would be shut down by force, like the last time when his body acted on its own and made him stand.

”I will offer you everything if you can treat my wife,” Garos, desperate like never before, yelled.

Aakesh finally got his answer to why the man was acting so defeated and not angry with his sonʼs killer.

But since Aakesh didnʼt have any interest in learning about the manʼs life, he remained expressionless.

”The store will begin to sell pills in the near future, so your wife might have a chance of treatment,” Aakesh replied. First, Aakesh was going to ignore the man, but then he sensed a trade from the man.

The store was in its early stages, so Aakesh needed to work hard to get some customers.

Garos suddenly felt a thundercloud explode in his mind when he heard the store ownerʼs statement. His movements stopped while his eyes went as wide as possible before bursting out.

”Can your pills treat Maleros?” Garos asked in a hurried voice.

Maleros was one of the many illnesses spread across the Sacred dimension. It wasnʼt untreatable, but its treatment cost was so high that it was also termed as terminal.

Maleros was an illness caused by an imbalance of blood and Sacred energy. In this disease, the body begins to absorb Sacred energy more than it could handle, resulting in the inner organs slowly dying.

The only way to treat it was to have the excess Sacred energy forced out of the body, and then healing pills would help restart the shut-down organs. Since only those cultivators titled god could somehow control the Sacred energy, only they could do the treatment.

Asking a True God for treatment wasnʼt cheap. The Kingdom Garos belonged to had only three True Gods in its midst, and Garos had tried to ask one of them through the city lord.

The price asked by that True God was something that terrified even the city lord, let alone him, who was not even the wealthiest Divine Lord in the city.

Aakesh had heard about the illness since it was caused by a rare item spread across the Sacred dimension. Aakesh wasnʼt sure whether the pills in the first batch would be able to treat Maleros, so he asked the system.

,m ”Yes,” Aakesh said expressionlessly to Garos after hearing the systemʼs answer.”> ,m ”Yes,” Aakesh said expressionlessly to Garos after hearing the systemʼs answer.

As if Garos had gotten a lifesaving treatment, his face turned ruddy. The next moment, his entire body began to tremble.

An uncomfortable feeling attacked Garos as a storm of energy erupted inside the store.

The system acted immediately and forced the energy storm to a single spot. Unaware of what was happening, Garosʼ eyes turned closed as his body began to make a popping sound.

The next moment, a seed the size of an almond escaped Garosʼ body and began to float midair without any support.

The space around the store trembled as the almond seed began to expand at a rapid rate. Only after the seed had reached the size of a tennis ball did the process of expansion stop.

The energy storm began to slow down while the appearance of the seed started to descend. In no time, it returned to where it belonged.

The energy storm suddenly grew even fiercer, but as if it were the struggle before dying, it slowly began to disappear.

Aakesh stayed in his chair as he watched the scene. Today had been no less than incredulous for him.

First, Garounʼs father came to pay his compensation. He then offered to sell himself. After Aakeshʼs refusal, the man began to act crazy, and now he was going through a breakthrough.

Aakesh recognized the seed that had suddenly appeared in the middle of the breakthrough. It wasnʼt an ordinary item, but a world that held living beings. Since Aakesh was only equivalent to an early Divine Transformation level cultivator, he couldnʼt sew through the seed without the systemʼs help.

Since things were like this, Aakesh didnʼt see it. If someone were to be able to see through the seed, they would see the world growing in its size. People going through natural disasters, while new species taking birth.

As the energy storm completely died, Garos opened his eyes. There was astonishment in his eyes, as he never expected his day to turn out like this.

Garos had been stuck at this level for the past several thousand years. For the past several months, Garos hadnʼt even meditated due to not having enough time. He spent all his day either looking at Elera or worrying about her.

Now that he heard from the store owner that his wife could be treated, all the tension in his heart melted. All the accumulations he had made in the past several thousand years acted and forced him past the line. He was now an intermediate Divine Lord.

There was no comparison between his past and his current self.

Garos believed he could battle tens of the past him at the same time.

After waking up, Garos felt that he was waking up after a deep sleep of thousands of years. Garos had never felt this comfortable before.

Garos suddenly released his energy and cut his finger. When the pain attacked him, his eyes turned moist.

Since Garos wasnʼt sure whether it was an illusion or not, he did this.

Garos forced himself not to cry this time, so no tears flowed. He had already cried enough. It was now time to celebrate.

”Thank you, store owner!” Garosʼs voice seemed to have regained the majesty of the past as he thanked Aakesh.

Aakesh only nodded expressionlessly. He didnʼt expect just asking for compensation to turn out to be these kinds of scenes.

But since things had already progressed and Aakesh didnʼt face any losses, he stopped thinking about it. Now he only wanted Garos to pay his share of the compensation.

If Aakesh wasnʼt very enthusiastic about the compensation earlier, now if Garos refused, Aakesh would turn his words into truth.
