The First Store System

Chapter 818: Plot against the Store!

”Hey, system, donʼt you think the rule of restricting me from meditating during store hours is an idiot rule?” Aakesh couldnʼt help but grumble over the systemʼs rule of not letting him meditate during store hours.

After Aakesh ascended, the way of increase in his cultivation changed. He could now not only gain levels from the quest, but he could also increase them through meditation like other cultivators.

Since Aakesh wanted to evolve his class in Panagea, he didnʼt meditate the previous night and spent all twenty plus hours in Panagea.

The system didnʼt respond to Aakeshʼs complaint since it was not the first time.

The system made rules keeping the usual situation in mind, not the exceptions. The storeʼs product ensured that the store would become popular, and the system made all the rules, keeping the popular phase of the store in mind.

Aakesh stopped asking after seeing the system had ignored his complaint once again.

Time flew by, and the remaining hours left in Favanʼs quota for the day passed in the blink of an eye.

Similar to yesterday, not even a shadow of the second customer had approached the store up to this moment.

Aakesh couldnʼt help but check his quest screen.

[Mission objective: Sell products to ten customers,

Requirement: You had four products in the Primal dimension, three of which are unlocked. Only the Panagea is currently active. Sell three Panagea hours or more to ten customers,

Time limit: Seven Days,

Customers: 0/10,

Time left: Six days,

Mission reward: Activation of the other three products,

Failure punishment: Sales commission will get reduced to 2.5% of the productʼs price for three years.]

Seeing the zero on the customer section, Aakesh disappointedly waved his hands. The next moment, the quest screen disappeared, and not long after, Favan exited the portal room.

Aakesh was going to close his eyes, but then he sensed Favan approaching him instead of leaving the store.

Favanʼs eye was cold, as if he had gone through tragedies one after another.

Favan had died so many times today that the aura around him turned cold.

Since Favan couldnʼt use external help, nor did he have some fantastic fighting techniques to help him defeat several beasts, Favan decided to use his infinite revival.

Favan couldnʼt die, but the beasts could, so after cruelly losing his life a few times, Favan decided to challenge the beasts instead of attempting to escape and failing.

Favan found the thought to be easy, but when he attempted to implement it after his resurrection, his legs didnʼt move.

But with every death, his willpower got stronger.

Favan even lost count of his deaths as he charged at the enemy camp like a suicidal maniac after his resurrection.

At first, the chicken thought of the situation as a play, but when two of its Level 80+ underlings died, it finally understood it couldnʼt let the situation continue for long.

Unfortunately for the chicken, the opponent had a Level 100 physique, so thinking of killing it was easier than doing it.

The chicken and its underlings continued to grow tired as they couldnʼt bind Favan, and killing him took a part of their strength.

At the same time, Favan manically hit the beasts, so many had wounds, including a few severe ones.

Without knowing how many times Favan had died, he turned the situation around. First, he wanted to escape, but now the chicken and its underlings ran from him as if he was a plague.

In the end, when Favan got forced out of Panagea, only the chicken and a few of its underlings were left.

”Store owner, I have some news for you,” Favan suddenly told Aakesh.

His voice sounded unnatural and hoarse as the psychological scene of him screaming as the beasts ripped him apart was still present in his mind.

Aakesh gestured for the man to go ahead, continuing to keep his expressionless face.

”Do you want to know why arenʼt any customers coming to your store?”

Aakesh didnʼt respond but only stared at Favan in response to his question.

Favan felt his heart chilling in fright as he looked directly into Aakeshʼs eyes. He couldnʼt help but shudder as his level was late Divine Transformation while the store owner was only an early Divine Transformation.

At the same time, Favan found Aakesh to be scarier than those countless Panagea beasts.

”Store owner, some one is targeting your store,” Favan immediately told Aakesh as he felt the silence more terrifying than facing the beasts.

Favan had no intention of spilling the beans on the man targeting the store since he was afraid of death. Favan was brave enough to come to the store despite the goonʼs warnings because Panagea was at stake. At the same time, Favan knew his life wouldnʼt be in danger since the law & order around Thorr city was strict. Even a Divine Lord would have to answer if he dared to commit a murder, let alone some son of the Divine Lord.

But telling the manʼs identity to the store owner was equal to snooping and putting that manʼs life in danger. Favan wasnʼt sure of the store ownerʼs background, but he was confident about one thing. If he dared to snoop on the boss, his life would end.

At that time, the boss would forget about the punishment to take his revenge on Favan. But after todayʼs situation in Panagea, Favan decided to let go of the fear of death and tell the store owner about the actions behind the scenes.

What would be the consequences of his actions? Favan didnʼt care. He now only wanted revenge for the beating he received in the morning.

Aakeshʼs expression finally had a change as his eyes turned cold. Favan suddenly started shaking in fright, but suddenly, invisible energy appeared and calmed him.

Favanʼs heart went through a tumultuous wave as Favan was sure that the invisible energy didnʼt come from the store owner but from someone else.

He couldnʼt help but look around in shock as Favan felt himself to be inferior in front of the energy. It was as if the energy was a wave while he was a piece of paper standing in its way. If the tide were calm, he would survive, but if it were raging, he would die.

”Who is it?” Aakesh asked.
