The First Store System

Chapter 821: Arrival of the Forces!

The man leading the group waved his hands, and the pressure attacking the soldiers disappeared as if it was never there.

”Halt, non-demon!”

The man leading the group yelled angrily after seeing the blood spread on the street.

The Vurrons on the road heaved a sigh of relief after seeing the arrival of the soldiers. Even those who were innocent had the same expressions. They had nothing to do with what was happening there, but none of them liked a non-demon killing one of their own kind.

Aakeshʼs face grew solemn as he looked at the man leading the group. Aakesh could sense that the man was no weaker than him.

”Stop whatever you are doing and come with us,” The man added. His face was also solemn since the non-demon gave him a feeling of overwhelming power despite him being more than an entire level above the non-demon.

Aakesh felt a familiar scene playing out in front of him as the same thing had happened when he had newly opened the store in the Primal dimension.

The situation there was always in his control, and it was only troublesome. But at this time, the case was different. His power level wasnʼt the highest in Thorr city, let alone the Kingdom.

But when had Aakesh been one to give up due to someone being more powerful than him?

”Stay out of this!” Aakesh looked at the man and expressionlessly stated.

The man and his underling soldiers couldnʼt help but frown after hearing the non-demon. All the soldiers knew that, except for their officer, none of them had a chance of survival once the non-demon struggled. But it was their duty to maintain the law & order of the city, and they werenʼt going to stop just for fear of death.

”Sir, we should call backup and surround the non-demon,” One of the soldiers couldnʼt help but suggest to his officer. They werenʼt afraid of dying, but they wanted to increase as many chances of survival as possible.

The group leader became silent after he heard the suggestion. The same thought was going on in his mind, but he was thinking about his future.

His city army career would be over if he asked for backup in this situation. No one would want a late Divine Being who called for backup because of an early Divine Transformation level non-demon.

But when the leader looked at the non-demon, he gritted his teeth and decided to go ahead with the backup.

His career would be over if he asked for backup, but he had no interest in watching a situation where he died because of not asking.

Suddenly a badge appeared in the manʼs hands, and he crushed it.

Aakesh sensed the sudden change in the aura around the group. When they had come here, there was ferocity, but now a wave of caution permeated from them.

Even Aakesh had no idea what the outcome would be if he faced the group leader. But since his safety wasnʼt at stake here, he did not worry.

The store wasnʼt very far from here, and if the situation turned even more troublesome, he already had the system help which he had bought by giving up his earnings in the Primal dimension.

Since the group seemed to stay far, Aakesh decided not to linger and solve for what he had come here.

As Aakesh took the first step, the group leader roared and asked him to stop. Ignoring the man, Aakesh proceeded toward the building.

At the same time, a wave of pressure released from his body, re-affecting the people on the street. Aakesh was in no mood to waste time, so the goons he could find on the road began to explode into a blood cloud.

The group leaderʼs face turned red from anger as he saw his fellow race members exploding into a blood cloud despite his presence.

The man had lived for centuries, so he didnʼt let the anger cloud his thinking ability. These were his race members, and he had a duty to save the cityʼs citizens, but the biggest concern in his mind was his and his underlingsʼ safety.

The group leader didnʼt have to think twice about whom to choose. As for what the city administration would do to him for ignoring his duty, he was in no mind to care about the future.

The group leader then looked at his underlings and gestured to them to surround the building. He also warned his men to stay far from the non-demon. Their current order was to remain safe until other groups arrived.

The badge he had crushed was a help talisman. The city leader gave it to every general in the army.

The badge had only one function; once crushed, it would inform every general present in the area of ten thousand miles.

Since Thorr city was prosperous by the standards of the Kingdom, two to three generals were stationed across all the twenty-plus streets.

The group leader wasnʼt worried that no one would sense the badge, but he was concerned that only two or three groups would perceive it.

For some reason, the group leader felt more danger from the non-demon than a Divine Lord level cultivator. Let alone others, even he found the conjecture laughable, but he couldnʼt remove the fear of the non-demon from his heart.

***

Garoun was seated on his chair while a grin was spread across his face. He imagined the scene of his underlings dragging the non-demon by his hair in the building. The non-demon would ask for mercy as he would kneel. Garoun would then ask the non-demon for the land, and then he would throw him out.

ʼHahahaha!ʼ Garoun couldnʼt help but laugh out loud as the scene was too much of his liking. At the same time, his gaze turned hot from hurry as he couldnʼt wait to live the scene in reality.

Crash!

Garounʼs laughter suddenly stopped as he heard a loud crash from outside his room.

Garoun decided to check on it, but the door to his gate flew toward him when he had half stood. Garoun was a Demon, and they were known to have more durable bodies when compared with the majority of the races. In addition to that, he was also a peak Divine Transformation, so he grabbed the door before it could hit him and threw it back.
