Chapter 823: Trouble that came with Actions(1)

BOOM!

Garoun died as the energy blast released from the skill Apocalyptic Blast devoured him.

After reaching the Divine Transformation level(Level 8), Aakesh could control the extent of the blast. Since Aakesh was immune to the skill, nothing happened to him despite being in hand range of it.

Every proof of Garounʼs existence disappeared with the light. Even the space ring he had worn had the same fate.

Suddenly Aakesh activated the skill Energy Overseer. The next moment, the surrounding around him turned into energy dots.

Aakesh looked around and finally locked on a lump of colorless dots gathered at the same spot.

After Aakesh deactivated the skill, he found nothing but a wall where he had seen the colorless dots.

Aakesh stepped forward and punched the spot. The wall shook, but not even a tiny crack emerged on the wall, let alone a hole.

Aakesh punched again and again without stopping. Around his tenth punch, the wall finally had a crack.

In the Primal dimension, Aakesh did not need money, so he didnʼt snatch the treasury of those he killed. But in the Sacred dimension, he needed Sacred stones for cultivation and its resources, so Aakesh decided to take everything Garoun had saved in his treasury.

As the first crack emerged, Aakesh began hitting that spot, and the damage started to widen. Aakesh could have used his skills to destroy the wall in one swoop, but it would also affect the treasure placed there, so Aakesh decided to depend on physical labor.

While Aakesh was trying to crack open the wall and take the treasury, a group of soldiers arrived on the street.

”EH!”

The second group leader raised his eyes as he saw the bloody street. There were no corpses, but the blood had dyed the street red.

”None of you are dead?” The second group leader couldnʼt help but ask in surprise as he saw that the first group had all its allocated soldiers alive. The scene of the street didnʼt match the survival rate of the soldiers.

”Donʼt tell me you havenʼt clashed with the mastermind behind all of this?” The reasoning behind the scene on the street emerged in the manʼs heart as he asked it out loud in surprise.

The first group leader had an ugly face when he heard the second group leader, but since he had already put a blockade on his future career path, he didnʼt dare to hide anything and shared everything with the second group leader.

When the second group leader and his underlings heard that the mastermind behind all of this was a non-demon, they were outraged. It was good that they didnʼt hunt non-demons spread across the cities and the Kingdom, but now a non-demon was killing their brethren.

They wanted to act immediately, but the second group leader hadnʼt reached this stage because of some wealthy family but due to his hard work. He knew that actions taken in anger without any thinking were never good.

For a moment, the second group leader wanted to laugh at his fellow officer for calling for backup when the enemy was only an early Divine Transformation. But when he saw the solemn face, laughter never came out; instead, his face took the same color.

The second group leader understood the consequences of the first leaderʼs actions, so he knew things werenʼt as simple as they looked.

”Surround the building!”

”Donʼt attack unless ordered!”

”Anyone who dares to act on his own would be executed as per the seventeenth section of the Demon code for soldiers!”

The second group leader turned around and ordered his soldiers. The soldiers didnʼt expect the situation to turn around like this. Still, when they heard their leader mentioning the seventeenth section of the Demon code for soldiers, they didnʼt dare to idle around and took their positions as the order stated.

Aakeshʼs effort finally bore fruit as a hole the size of a head appeared on the wall. Aakesh pushed his hands and grabbed whatever was there.

When Aakesh took the item out, a pouch lay in his hands. Without wasting time, Aakesh opened the purse, and his eyes fell on the herbs and the stones.

With only a glance, the herbsʼ information appeared in his mind. These werenʼt scarce herbs, but they were expensive due to their rare uses.

Aakesh finally found a valuable herb. It was an inferior Sacred Condensation herb. There was only a single stalk of it, but in market value, it was around a hundred lesser Sacred stones.

As its name suggested, the herb helped gather the Sacred energy spread across the entire dimension. Since it was only an inferior-level herb, its effects wouldnʼt be heaven-shaking, but it was enough for Aakesh to cultivate for a day without the purer forms of lesser Sacred stones.

After calculating the value of the lesser Sacred stones and the herbs, Aakesh found it to be around four thousand lesser Sacred stones.

For the information, Aakesh had given Favan one purer lesser Sacred stone, equal to five hundred usual lesser Sacred stones. Aakesh had already made more than he had spent.

The matter still hadnʼt come to an end as Favan had told Aakesh about the Divine Lord, father of Garoun. As for what the man would do, he didnʼt care. What he cared about was what he would ask from the father for the damages his son had done to the store.

ʼI have become shameless,ʼ Aakesh thought in his heart as the idea of asking the father for remuneration appeared in his head despite him already killing the son and looting his treasury.

Aakesh didnʼt feel he was doing any wrong for thinking about asking for remuneration since he wasnʼt the one who started the issue.

Since there was nothing else left here for Aakesh to do, he turned around and left the building. At the same time, he was also thinking about what to do with the group of soldiers.

They were only doing their duty, but unfortunately for them, Aakesh didnʼt follow any rules set by others. He did things as he wanted.

Even in the Primal dimension, he had killed the King because of his arrogance over thinking that he would be able to punish Aakesh. Here in the Sacred dimension, the opponents were stronger while he was weaker. Still, Aakesh didnʼt give a damn. If things came to worse, he would kill the leader of Thorr city using the only offensive help given to him by the system. He would then take over the city, becoming its new ruler. Aakesh didnʼt like ruling lands, but that didnʼt mean he didnʼt have the capability.

As for the King of the Kingdom, Aakesh didnʼt think it would matter. The Kingdom was vast and had several cities wealthier than Thorr city.

But since all these things might never happen, Aakesh decided to focus on what was in front of him at present but not the future.
