The First Store System

Chapter 814: Training and Panagea(1)

Unaware of the changes the store had caused in Panagea, Aakesh and Lily appeared in the selection area.

Lily chose her usual training area; the next moment, a space portal emerged and sucked her inside.

The training area reserved for Aakesh had the same time flow as the world it was in, so Lily had no change in the time flow rate in her training.

After Lily left, Aakesh went to his weapons section and picked a weapon. Aakesh then chose his training area and disappeared from the selection area as a space portal emerged and sucked him inside.

The next moment, Aakesh found himself in a familiar battleground, with a routine blue screen popping in front of him.

Aakesh didnʼt waste any time and chose to start from the first round like he did every day.

Aakesh had been battling in this training environment for more than a thousand years, and yet, he didnʼt feel bored with it. There was only one reason behind it, the opponent Aakesh needed to face was randomly chosen, and at the same time, there were around five hundred and fifty-one rounds in the contest.

Despite training for more than a thousand years, the maximum number of rounds Aakesh had won was seventy-nine, and even then, he had only succeeded in winning that many battles with only a sword and bow.

Not long after, Aakesh tapped on the screen, and a beast filled with killing intent emerged in front of him.

The beast was around three meters in height, with its entire body dyed scarlet like a flame. The creature had a single eye with a black sclera, red pupils, and a scarlet iris. Two goat horns adorned the beast, while a large pair of wings similar in color to other parts of its body made its already large body look even more oversized.

Roar!

The creature looked at Aakesh and roared in the provocation.

The information about the beast appeared in Aakeshʼs memories. It was a beast of the Sacred dimension, and its name was Scarlet Flame Godbeast.

Due to it being a True God right from its birth, the strongest of this race were capable of attaining the peak of Sacred dimension cultivation. Thus, the name Godbeast was given to it.

Aakesh ignored the roar of the beast. He instead focused on his weapon. It was a spear, which Aakesh had used many times.

The maximum number of battles he had won with the spear was seventy-eight, only one short of the wins with the sword and the bow.

Ding!

Not wasting any more time, the bell rang and announced the start of the first battle.

Aakesh was clearly stronger than the current Scarlet Flame Godbeast, so he didnʼt give the beast any hope of fighting and made his move.

Using the spear as a javelin, he threw it, aiming at the beastʼs eye since it was its weakest point.

Whoosh!

The beast only heard the spear tearing through the air and coming toward it, but before it could do anything to dodge or defend itself, it felt a pain coming through its eyes. Not long after, its consciousness began to dim, and in no time, the world turned entirely blank for the beast as its considerably large body crashed to the ground, making a loud sound.

The battle ended before the sound of the bell had even disappeared. Soon, a blue light engulfed the arena as the routine blue screen popped in front of him.

Aakesh didnʼt have to think of what to do, so he tapped on the screen right away.

Time flew by, and it had been around three minutes since the contest began.

The spear moved like a snake in Aakeshʼs hands, and before the beast could do anything to dodge it, the spearhead crushed its heart, resulting in an instant kill.

Not long after, the familiar blue screen popped in front of Aakesh. It asked him whether he wanted to repeat the eighteenth round or wanted to proceed linearly ahead.

Aakesh chose to proceed ahead linearly and tapped on the screen.

The next moment, Aakesh found himself in the battle arena, with the Scarlet Flame Godbeast looking at him even more angrily.

Time flew by, and thirty minutes had passed in the blink of an eye.

Clang clang clang!

Clang clang clang!

The spearhead and the beastʼs claws clashed with each other and made a metallic sound. It was the seventy-ninth round, and he had been in this battle for the past thirty seconds.

The last time Aakesh was at this round with the spear, he had lost the battle after fighting hard. Now that Aakeshʼs strength was several times greater than what it was when he last battled, the seventy-ninth round didnʼt seem that hard.

It was just that Aakesh wanted to see how far the beast could go because of his loss last time, or he would have long ended this battle.

Ten more seconds passed, and Aakesh finally got bored of the battle. He decided to end it as he activated one of the skills for the first time today.

The next moment, the spear began to turn heavy. In no time, the already heavy spear weighed a thousand times more than its original weight.

The skill could further go beyond this level of weight, but Aakesh stopped it. It wasnʼt due to him having difficulty, but he felt this weight to be sufficient to crush the beast.

Suddenly the aura around Aakesh changed as he got offensive. The beast also sensed the sudden change, but before it could do anything, Aakesh disappeatred from the spot and appeared right above the beast in the air.

The beast sensed something over its head, but it didnʼt even get the time to look as the spear crashed into it.

At that moment, the beast felt a mountain made of Timeless stone crashing on its head. The feeling didnʼt last long. In front of the spearʼs weight, the Scarlet Flame Godbeast was nothing more than a stick.

The spear entirely crushed the beast and turned it into a pool of blood and body parts.

The next moment, the battle came to an end as Aakesh surpassed his past record. Aakesh didnʼt feel much excited about it since it was due to the increase in his cultivation.
