The First Store System

Chapter 824: Trouble that came with Actions(2)

Since Aakesh didnʼt need a space ring and had the system space active for him all the time, he threw the bag into that space and left the building.

As Aakesh came out, he felt tens of auras locking on him. Even the weakest aura belonged to an intermediate Divine Transformation, while the strongest one was higher than what Aakesh could sense on his own without the systemʼs help.

Aakesh didnʼt believe a Divine Lord cultivator would come here to handle him, so the cultivation he couldnʼt judge most probably belonged to someone on the border of Divine Being and Divine Lord.

Aakeshʼs face grew solemn as he came to the conjecture. It was true that he didnʼt fear for his safety here, but using the systemʼs help on cultivators below those titled Gods felt like an insult to the system.

Aakesh could use the monetary help from the system, but he didnʼt have anything worthwhile to make the system act. The system would never act on its own until he had the help available. The system didnʼt manage a store for no reason. It had the same business mindset that desired profits first.

Aakesh showed no change of expression on his face as he directly turned around in the direction of the being whose cultivation he was unable to judge.

At this time, there were more than five groups of soldiers present on the scene, and the mightiest of them was the fourth group leader. He was also the one whom Aakesh stared at.

The fourth group leader couldnʼt help but raise his eyebrows as he didnʼt expect the non-demon to judge the generals.

In the Thorr cityʼs army, those below the Divine Being would be ordinary soldiers, and those below the Divine Lord would be generals. Early Divine Lord would become a captain-general, controlling ten soldier groups and forming a company. The intermediate Divine Lord would become the Lieutenant, presiding over three companies, while the late Divine Lord would be the army chief, presiding over the entire army structure. While the peak Divine Lord would retire from the army and join the circle of the city lordʼs protector, who was also a peak Divine Lord.

As for higher cultivation than the peak Divine Lord, only one case had appeared in the history of the Vurron, when someone achieved the bare minimum to reach the True God level. Unfortunately, the legend of the Vurrons died in the tribulation to reach the True God level, or Vurrons would have also become one of the overlords of the Kingdom.

”Non-demon, halt and cooperate with us,” The fourth group leader calmed his surprise and stated in a majestical voice.

”Why?” Aakesh expressionlessly asked in response.

Aakesh didnʼt fear a fight and began to think of ways to maximize the damage to the soldier groups. At the same time, he was thinking of ways to return to the store.

The fourth group leader and the other leaders looked at Aakesh with frowns since the casual response from the non-demon seemed like he was mocking them.

The fourth group leader didnʼt let his emotions show on the outside. At the same time, he spiritually communicated with the other four generals.

”As soon as I say, attack with your strongest skills simultaneously.”

It wasnʼt hidden from other generals that the fourth group leader was currently the strongest here and when compared with other generals. There are already rumors flying around the soldierʼs group that the city Lord had granted a personal audience to the man, and he would help the general achieve the breakthrough and become a captain-general.

The other four generals responded positively, ready to attack whenever the fourth group leader wanted them to.

”Are you mocking us, or are you actually an idiot.”

”Canʼt you see the street dyed red from demonʼs blood in the midst of a day? You think actions have no consequences in Thorr city?”

The fourth general coldly replied as he stared at Aakesh. He felt dread toward Aakesh due to his mysterious background, but at the same time, he also believed in his strength.

In the end, his confidence in his strength won as the fourth general decided to end this charade. They had already made a fool of themselves in front of the citizens by gathering so many people only to catch an early Divine Transformation non-demon.

”This is the last warning to you. Give up your struggle and cooperate with us.”

”Our laws are fair for everyone, including you,” The fourth general announced and got ready to attack at a momentʼs notice.

Thud thud thud!

Thud thud thud!

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps rang in the area, breaking the atmosphere around the non-demon and the fourth general.

The fourth general and other soldiers turned around in the direction of the footsteps to find the sixth group of soldiers arriving on the scene.

When the five generals saw the man leading the troop, they heaved a sigh of relief.

The sixth general was none other than Frederick, who wanted to buy the land where Aakesh opened his store.

Frederickʼs eyes turned needle-sharp as his eyes fell on the blue-skinned non-demon surrounded by five groups of soldiers. It was half the battalion. The Thorr cityʼs army would be laughed out loud everywhere if the knowledge of them attacking an early Divine Transformation with half a battalion spread outside the city.

Frederick didnʼt care whether they would be laughed out loud. What he cared about was the non-demon.

Frederick had found out that the owner of his most-desired land was a non-demon and the warning from his contacts was as well.

Even a Divine Lord elder of Thorr city strictly warned Frederick of acting against the non-demon. He couldnʼt help but curse his bad luck after seeing the non-demon getting surrounded by soldiers, and now he had also joined them.

Aakesh, who had been staying silent, also turned around in the direction of the newcomer. It was only a late Divine Being level cultivator, but the danger felt by Aakesh from the man was similar to what he perceived from the fourth general.

Aakesh didnʼt have to think of a reason for this conjecture as it was in front of his eyes. Even though the newcomer had hidden his killing aura, Aakesh could see that the number of people the man had killed was at least in six digits.

Frederick didnʼt surround Aakesh like the other five groups and immediately went to the fourth general.

”Whatʼs going on? What did you do?” Frederick scowled.

The fourth general couldnʼt help but frown after hearing Frederick. He knew Frederickʼs character. In fact, the entire seventeenth and nearby streets knew about him.

The fourth general had expected Frederick to be the first expert to attack the non-demon. But the reality was different. Frederick clearly seemed upset about being here.

A/N: What way should I go? All-out war with the Thorrons, or should I reduce the drama and killings?
