Chapter 1442: Cave?

Noel and Victor continued to clash, unleashing one ability after another. Noel’s True Spirit Body was powerful, covering the entire plain with ice.

On the other hand, Victor’s power couldn’t be underestimated either. The moment his eyes changed, Victor could unleash an even more terrifying power.

The spiritual energy was much more destructive. Noel could feel this kind of power from an ancient demon that was going berserk.

But unlike those ancient demons, Victor was in complete control, allowing him to unleash a power that couldn’t be seen from normal ancient demons.

Even with Noel’s king path, it was impossible to gain any advantage against Victor. Noel never thought that the third prince would be this powerful, but he couldn’t give up.

Just like his True Spirit Body that couldn’t last over thirty minutes, Victor’s power shouldn’t be able to last much longer than his.

After all, this was the power that was supposed to appear whenever the demon went berserk.

The toll on his mind must be quite huge, so Noel continued with the clash, waiting for Victor to mess up. Even if his True Spirit Body disappeared, he could use Ardagan’s True Spirit Body next, which would bring him the advantage.

”To think that you would be this strong...” Noel squinted his eyes.

”I, too, didn’t think you would grow to this level so quickly.” Victor harrumphed. ”If only someone didn’t mess up my plan, I would have become much stronger than this.”

”!!!” Noel couldn’t help but widen his eyes. Mess up his plan? Although he had fought the third prince indirectly multiple times, he never really messed up his plan.

Besides, he mentioned that the plan would make him stronger. There was no clash between them that would result in Victor getting stronger.

In other words, Victor had his own path to get stronger, and someone somehow stopped him.

But with his strength, who would be insane enough to stop him? Even if they were bold, they might not have the strength to fight him.

For some reason, there was a certain memory that appeared in his mind. It was an old experience, but Anna just told him not long ago.

Back then, Anna told him that the reason she could maintain her growth pace to match him was because she robbed someone’s chance.

She didn’t know who that person was, but according to her, that person was able to grow fast because of all the resources inside that cave.

Anna had been using the resource from that cave for several years, allowing her to focus on doing tasks or accomplishing her objectives rather than searching for demon crystals.

’Did Anna rob the prince’s cave? Really? The third prince was mysterious in their past life. Because I was on the third prince’s side, I might not share any information about him with Anna.

’With my manipulation, it wouldn’t be hard to hide the third prince’s identity. In other words... that cave might really be his cave...’

Noel didn’t expect that Anna would be the culprit. But thanks to her, the third prince only had this much strength.

When he thought about it, Noel couldn’t help but arrive at a terrifying realization. ’Wait. If this is the case, doesn’t that mean the third prince in my previous life had become a demonic human and his strength was already an ancient demon or even higher?

’More importantly, I and Anna were only at the peak spirit grandmaster. Was this the reason for Josephine following the third prince instead of the Supreme Devil?

’She knew the third prince held absolute power, so she was going to ride the wave to success. In fact, the third prince might have crushed the Supreme Devil himself.

’Or were they working together? I don’t know right now, but this is a huge piece of information.

’With the third prince’s strength not growing to the demon king level yet, I still have time.

’The crown prince might be the demon king’s incarnate... Either way, I have to stop both the third prince and the Supreme Devil, no matter their identities.’

Noel’s expression turned grim soon. The situation was indeed dire. At this rate, the third prince would become a demon king soon. He might have to increase his pace and somehow become a spirit king to stop him.

At the very least, he had to buy time until Anna became a spirit king as well. This way, they would have enough numbers to crush any opponents in front of them.

’I only had about 4 years back then, but in this life, it’s been 6 years. And it looks like I will have no problem getting one more year... But this is probably the maximum that I have before fighting the demon kings...’

”You’re getting distracted!” The third prince struck him from the side.

Noel blocked it at the last moment, but he ended up jumping into the air as though he couldn’t withstand this power. As a result, the slash continued, slicing all the ice spikes coming from the ground.

”Hehehehe. To think that you would give me that kind of information... Who do you think hinders your progress, Your Highness?” Noel grinned.

”!!!” Victor narrowed his eyes. ”You? No. If it were you, I would have known about it.”

Noel shrugged. ”I wonder... If you’re talking about the resource inside that cave...”

”!!!” Victor clenched his sword tighter. That reaction alone was enough for Noel. ”You bastard. So, it’s you!”

Victor didn’t know how Noel did it and why he didn’t know about this. However, the fact that Noel knew about that cave meant Noel was the culprit.𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

The frustration and anger due to that setback was hard to swallow because he was forced to sell himself to the Supreme Devil Organization for some time. If not for Noel, his dignity wouldn’t be stepped on like that.

”You bastard!” Victor’s eyes turned bloodshot as he leaped toward Noel.

Noel continued to smile as if he was enjoying his reaction. He might be able to find more information about this.

But before they could clash, they heard a voice from the side as two figures appeared on their battlefield.

”Please stop.”
