Chapter 1441: Noel vs Victor

”The demon you swallow... Don’t tell me... It’s the original form of the demon king?” Noel’s expression turned grim.

The third prince chuckled. ”Demon king? Are you an author? Your imagination is quite good.”

Noel definitely didn’t believe him. All the clues had pointed to him.

’This rapid growth, the demonic human, spirit transcendence, power equal to the incomplete king path, and even the hidden danger. It’s true that we haven’t figured out the identity of the demon king...

’No. In fact, I suspected that the Supreme Devil himself was a human who swallowed the original form of a demon king.

’While I still can’t prove it, the third prince is very suspicious right now. Besides, the Third Prince and the Supreme Devil Organization worked together.

’However, something is off. The third prince in the past life was supposed to kill me and Anna without any trace of demons. Of course, it was swift and unexpected, so I might not have seen it.

’But unlike in my previous life, Josephine worked under the Supreme Devil instead of the prince.

’I have never thought about this, but what’s the reason for Josephine working for the Supreme Devil? If the Space Arbiter works under the third prince, he can easily teleport to the capital city, and I have no way of stopping him...’

Noel squinted his eyes. Either way, he wouldn’t get his answer just by speculating. If he wanted that answer, he needed to capture the third prince.

Although this looked like treason, the moment the third prince was known to be a demonic human, he had enough reasons to brush off the issue about the rebellion.

”In that case, I will just have to force you to tell me.” Noel harrumphed and leaped toward the prince.

Victor snorted. ”You don’t believe me? Then what’s the point of asking?”𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

He struck Noel’s blade multiple times as his power countered Noel’s king path. Noel had a hard time gaining an upper hand.

Noel thought the prince would be easier, considering he had become a spirit transcendence later than him, but it looked like he had to use everything he had in order to defeat Victor.

”Fire Transformation!”

A pair of black wings appeared on his back, and a circle formed behind them like a halo for the wings.

Noel waved his hand, sending forth a fire phoenix.

The third prince raised his blade and waved it down. It felt like the world was split in two as the fire went separate ways, scorching the ground.

Victor waved his blade horizontally at the level of Noel’s neck, forcing Noel to put his sword in front.

The power was so strong that Noel got pushed back. In addition, Victor reappeared behind Noel and struck him.

Noel formed an ice sword with his other element and stopped both attacks at the same time.

Since Noel refused to go down, Victor shifted his stance slightly, pushing the ice sword to the side. Then, he kicked Noel’s back and launched him to the ground.

Bam!

Once Noel was done, as long as he got one second and somehow reached the capital city, Noel wouldn’t dare to come after him.

There was one problem. How should he handle the spirit transcendence inside the capital city?

Unfortunately, it didn’t seem he had the time to think. Before he could get away, a fire erupted on his shoe, burning him.

”!!!” Victor was surprised. He realized Noel extended the flame of that ring to the contact area, and that flame erupted to prevent him from moving.

Then, while he was still on the ground, Noel slammed his hand on the ground and sent forth his fire through the soil. The flame erupted and turned into roses, surrounding him.

The third prince slashed the roses, but this little time allowed Noel to stand back up. He jumped into the air and struck him from above, this time knocking him down.

The third prince clicked his tongue as he rolled his body to avoid Noel’s sword piercing him as the person landed on the ground.

Seeing that neither of them could overwhelm the other, they had no other choice but to go even harder.

They originally didn’t want to destroy anything around the capital city, but the situation was different. The longer they waited, the more the people inside the capital city would become a variable.

To avoid any variables, both of them decided to unleash their full strength.

”True Spirit Body.” Noel switched from fire to ice this time. A pair of ice wings and an ice crown replaced his transformation.

Victor had also changed. Unlike the True Spirit Body, his eyes turned completely black as the black pupils turned red.

Since Victor was done first, he raised his sword and swung down as hard as possible.

The tremendous amount of energy struck the ground and turned it into a deep crater. Noel blocked it with his sword before shifting his stance as he repelled it to the right, away from the city.

After that, Noel jumped toward the prince and waved his sword horizontally. The prince stopped it with his own sword, but ice suddenly formed behind the prince, covering a massive area behind the prince.

Some ice particles also moved toward the prince. If he didn’t move, he would probably get frozen.

So, the third prince moved to the side. He raised his other hand and shot out torrential spiritual energy.

Noel also shot his spiritual energy, trying to freeze his energy. However, the ferocity of the prince’s energy couldn’t be underestimated. It shattered the ice and continued toward the city.

Noel chose a different method.

Three Purity Swords.

He slashed three times in rapid succession as though he had only slashed once.

”!!!” The third prince blocked the first one, but the second one ended up cutting the energy going to the capital city. The last strike hit his arm, which bled slightly.

While they were fighting, the third princess had actually finished everything she needed to do inside the castle.

She looked into the distance while saying, ”Duke Lorelei, Marshal Conrad. Go outside the capital city and suppress the threat. We don’t want any unrest in the capital city.”

”Understood.”
