Chapter 1421: Tristan x Dylan

A huge airship gradually descended from the sky and landed outside a city.

A man from the city walked toward the airship with open arms, welcoming the guests warmly. ”Welcome to my humble city. It’s an honor to have the disciple of the greatest man in the kingdom visit our city.”

”Thank you for such a warm welcome, Marquis.” Tristan smiled while walking out of the airship. He shook his hand firmly. ”It’s an honor to have Marquis Stargaze personally welcoming us.”

”My status is not as high as you think. I’m still just a new successor.” That was right. Marquis Stargaze had finally been passed down from Kevin to his son, Dylan. The one who accompanied him was none other than his assistant in the army, who later became his wife, Alicia.

”Then I’m also just a disciple.” Tristan shook his head.

”Hahahaha!” Dylan laughed. He felt a sense of camaraderie with Tristan, considering they were rather in a similar situation.

Tristan then turned to Alicia and politely bowed. ”Madam Alicia.”

”Sir Tristan.” Alicia lifted up her skirt and politely greeted him.

On the other hand, Tristan was accompanied by three people. The first one was none other than Rose, who was supposed to be his advisor.

Just like Noel having Dimitri to serve him, Tristan had Sandra with him. Last but not least, it was Rui. She acted as a bodyguard this time, thinking that they might get attacked here.

”Please come in.” He extended his hand and gently put his arm on Tristan’s neck as both of them walked into the city.

They were inside the car Noel had given before. This car was much longer than the typical car so that people could have a talk inside, similar to that of a normal royal carriage.

”I have read the letter regarding your arrival here, but I haven’t heard anything about your purpose. To what pleasure do I owe your visit, if I may ask?” Dylan asked casually.

Tristan nodded. ”Actually, the kingdom is in trouble. My master has asked me to take care of the northern lords and I’d like to ask for your cooperation.”

”Hmm?” Dylan furrowed his eyebrows. Although they were all important people, they weren’t that highly regarded in the north.

After all, Dylan had only become a marquis while Tristan was just Noel’s disciple. No matter how hard they worked, they were still far from the figures they were trying to replace.

”This is quite hard.” Dylan looked down, falling into deep thought. ”I can try to invite them, but I don’t think they will listen that much.”

”Don’t worry. I have a solution for this. My teacher gives me the full right to handle this matter, so as long as I get your cooperation, everything should work out just fine.”

”...” Rose couldn’t help but close her eyes, recalling Tristan’s plan. This was something that Tristan came up with, not Noel.

”Are you serious? Can we even call the northern lords? They respect Noel... I mean the lord, not you. Sorry if you feel offended, but that’s the reality.” Rose sighed.

”Of course, I know.” Tristan nodded. ”Still, Teacher gave me the full right to handle the matter. He even allowed me to borrow his name.

”It’s just... I don’t like to borrow his name so much. Unfortunately, I can’t complete this mission without doing it, so I can only borrow his name for the invitation, but as for the entire task, I’ll try to do it with my own ability.”

”Hmm? What do you have in mind?” Rose frowned. ”If necessary, I will be using my identity as his assistant as well as your adviser here.”

”There’s no need to do so for this occasion.” Tristan pointed down. ”Actually, I’m thinking about selling this ship.”

”Huh?!” Rose widened her eyes in shock.

”We have several personal airships, while the rest of the airships have been shared among the northern lords.

”However, it doesn’t mean that we’re not producing any ships. Although the speed is slow, we can produce more and more ships gradually.

”That’s why selling one is not too much. My task this time is to take care of the northern lords, but if you look at it, it’s clear that my teacher only wants me to stop them, not do anything.

”In the past, the only way to stop me was to make me focus on something. Hence, I will do the same for them. I will make them focus on this ship and buy enough time for the teacher to handle everything he needs to do.

”By using this airship as bait, we can get them all here. And more importantly, we will be able to lure out the people who are planning to attack us.

”Teacher said he is not sure, but he should know that our lives are the most vulnerable right now. That’s why Miss Rui is here to protect us.

”Ultimately, they will be so focused on me that they don’t have time to think about anything else. By the time they realize I’m just stalling for time, everything should be done.

”That’s why I also want you to act with me for this play.”

Rose was quite surprised by the plan. ”You have grown more and more clever.”

”Hehehe. Thank you. It’s all thanks to Teacher. I can’t make a plan as well as his, but replicating a few of his tactics is possible. After all, memory is the only thing I can boast of.”

Rose, of course, knew about his memory. She smiled, satisfied. ”All right. You have my word. I’ll assist you in completing your plan.”

Rose still remembered what Noel had told her back then. ”With the impending chaos, I might not be able to govern the territory as much as this in the near future, so Rose... I want you to take care of Tristan. He will play a crucial role against the chaos.”

Her expression turned solemn as she asked, ”What do you want me to do?”

A nostalgic smile appeared on Tristan’s face. It was as if Noel was sitting in front of her with his confidence.
