Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 291: Chapter 203: Giratina Affection +1! (Two Chapters in One)_2

”Speak!”

Naoki turned his gaze towards the nearby waterfall.

Giratina, exasperated, conceded, ”I agree to your terms!”

”As expected, truly a hot-tempered dragon!” Naoki mused inwardly, feeling the shift in Giratina’s demeanor, sensing that this time Giratina wouldn’t attack him again.

Naoki felt a sense of relief internally, and then slowly began to explain:

”In the future, a person named Cyrus will collect the red chain from Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie to control Dialga and Palkia, aiming to destroy this world.”

Giratina interjected, ”Cyrus?” This human’s actions sounded quite pleasing to it!

Naoki continued, ”...But at the critical moment, you appeared from the shadows and dragged him into the Reversed World.”

Giratina was quite surprised, ”Why would I drag him in?”

It never allowed others to trespass into its domain!

Naoki shrugged, ”Who knows? Since then, he hasn’t been seen again. Some people think he disappeared into the depths of the Reversed World, while others think you ate him.”

Giratina was furious, ”Nonsense! I’ve never eaten a human! I don’t need to eat like you humans do at all!”

Giratina was extremely angry, poised as if it wanted to immediately find the person who said this and attack them for ten days and nights with all its might.

Naoki said, ”That’s not important.”

However, Giratina’s attention wasn’t easily swayed, ”It is important!”

”Yes, whoever said that deserves to be flayed and dismembered!” Naoki added, trying to stroke it a little.

Hearing this, Giratina glanced at him with surprise.

Naoki: ”...”

Ignoring Giratina’s gaze, he continued, ”Before this, a few other things happened.”

”Dialga and Palkia’s realms will collide in the future timeline, leading them into a fierce battle.”

”Their energies are too immense and will disrupt the time-space continuum, affecting your Reversed World. You will angrily chase Dialga and drag it into this place.”

Pausing, Naoki gave Giratina a sidelong glance, speaking cryptically, ”At that time, a human wanting to live in the Reversed World took advantage and used a machine to capture you, trying to replicate your power to open a way in, and then...”

Once again, before he could finish, Giratina interrupted with a loud shout.

”That’s absolutely impossible!”

Naoki smiled slightly, ”Indeed, with your strength, it’s absolutely impossible for such a thing to happen; that human must have used some treacherous means.”

Giratina cast Naoki a glance, suddenly finding this human more and more agreeable.

Naoki continued, ”After that, you chased Dialga to a place called Midina, where the god who created everything awakened from slumber. For some reason, it was enraged and wanted to destroy the entire world.”

”At that time, you would team up with Dialga and Palkia to stop the enraged Arceus.”

Hearing this, Giratina fell into a rare silence.

It knew about the slumbering one.

But it also knew full well it wouldn’t be a match for that being.

”Was the world destroyed?” Giratina asked.

Naoki shook his head with a smile, ”No, you succeeded, not just you, some humans were also making efforts. You held back Arceus, giving humans the chance to change everything.”

Hearing these words, Giratina couldn’t help but reevaluate the human before it.

He was definitely not just any ordinary human!

To know so much about their secrets!

Initially skeptical about these futures, but now...

Seeing the turbulent dragon fall silent, Naoki felt somewhat uneasy.

”Don’t you want to say something?” he asked.

Giratina tilted its head again to look at him for a while and then said, ”I agree.”

Naoki earnestly said, ”Thank you very much, you truly are a kind god, the friendliest Pokemon in the world!”

The ”friendly” Giratina recalled yesterday’s moments when it bombarded the humans for over ten minutes, feeling somewhat guilty.

Fortunately, Naoki didn’t bring up old grievances, merely asking, ”How should I take it?”

Giratina replied, ”Tell me your location, and I’ll open a passage to the Reversed World.”

Naoki nodded, revealing the location of his ranch.

Giratina peered from the Reversed World into the real world, indeed seeing a human ranch.

It felt utterly baffled, ”How did you enter here? No... Your current state is very strange, I don’t understand.”

Naoki shook his head, ”That’s my secret, but I can’t say now because we aren’t friends yet. Let’s wait until our relationship grows closer before talking!”

Relationship...grow closer? Giratina was bewildered.

Naoki thought for a moment and then asked, ”What about the offering I wanted to give to you?”

Giratina, returning to its senses, said, ”I saw a lake in your ranch, place it on the lake surface.”

”Alright.”

Coincidentally, at that moment, the effects of the Poisonous Mushroom Soup wore off.

Everything before Naoki gradually blurred, shifting his vision back to the real world.

After finishing a Pecha Berry on the spot, he returned to the living room, with the help of his sister Indeedee, packing all the snacks like Lucky Pudding, Honey Bun, Secret Sandwich, and Berry Milk and placing them on the lake where the Dragonair lived.

As soon as he and his sister Indeedee arrived, ripples emerged on the previously calm lake surface, as if Giratina had been watching the real world from the Reversed World.

Sunbathing Dragonair were startled by this scene, quickly leaving the water surface, hiding behind Naoki, cautiously poking their heads out to observe the situation.

”Don’t be afraid, it’s alright!”

Naoki comforted them with a word before turning his gaze to the lake face.

In the gentle purple light, a temporal vortex slowly emerged, swallowing the heap of food on the lake surface.

Soon after, a torrent burst from the vortex, transforming into a fountain.

Seeing this, Naoki hastened to shout for a bucket!

Half a minute later, his brother Indeedee, following instructions, ran over controlling a bucket with Psychic.

Naoki placed the bucket under the fountain, and even after it was completely filled, the fountain continued without stopping.

Wow, Giratina was indeed generous!

Seeing this, Naoki promptly asked Koraidon to bring over the big milk container.

Only after filling both large milk containers did the fountain cease.

The purple vortex gradually vanished, everything around returning to calm.

Gazing at the three brimming buckets of mythical ingredients beside him, Naoki felt a sense of harvest joy.

[Water of the Reversed World: Mythical Level ingredient. When used to make cuisine, it grants the dish the effect of ”Reversing the Universe,” born in the Reversed World, guarded by Netherworld Dragon Giratina. Extremely difficult to obtain, it’s a highly precious ingredient.]

It’s not in vain that he ate so many Poisonous Mushrooms, yielding such results at last!

Naoki couldn’t wait to see the specific effect of ”Reversing the Universe.”

Decisively, he put Giratina out of mind, taking Indeedee and Koraidon to carry the three buckets of water back home, preparing to cook some noodles first using them.

*

In the Reversed World, amidst silence and void.

Giratina quietly watched everything happening in the real world.

At this moment, a sense of curiosity arose in its heart towards this human.

A god’s intuition told it, this person was definitely not an ordinary human!

Seeing them enter a house, Giratina turned to look at things floating in the void around it, things clearly not belonging to this world.

Were these...what they called food?

Is this what those insignificant humans usually eat?

Giratina showed disdain.

With its massive body sweeping through the void like a big fish eating small fish, in the next second, all the floating food vanished without a trace.

Giratina’s pupils narrowed.

This...

A special power suddenly appeared in its body!

What is going on?

Giratina was initially stunned, but soon caught on.

It was those human foods it just consumed!
