Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 264: Chapter 190: Household Helper (Double Chapters in One)

Seeing this, Naoki took out two packs of honey gummies from the fridge and gave them to them, then started going upstairs.

”Next is the second floor, your rooms are also on the second floor.”

Saying this, they came to the small living room on the second floor.

Naoki opened a door and revealed the room inside, filled with a child-like atmosphere.

”Since I don’t know what you like, I decorated the room in a human way.” He said.

As for the living space, the two Indeedees had no particular demands.

They initially thought they’d have to live in a Poke Ball, so having their own room was a delightful surprise.

Naoki continued, ”The other rooms are the study and the storage room. Oh, by the way, there’s a video phone in the living room on the first floor. If you miss your parents, you can use that video phone to contact them.”

The siblings were naturally overjoyed at this.

After the introduction, Naoki glanced at the time and realized it was unknowingly already 10:30 in the morning.

He thought he’d prepare a lavish lunch today to welcome the two Indeedees.

But since the fridge was nearly empty, Naoki planned to ride Koraidon to the town to buy some supplies.

He asked Cyclizar to take care of the two Indeedees, then left the ranch.

He quickly finished buying the necessary ingredients and, on his way back to the ranch, started thinking about the two Indeedees.

The two Indeedees were still young, not even three months old, truly the youngest Pokemon on the ranch.

Naoki originally thought the two Indeedees would need his care for a while, but upon returning to the ranch, he was surprised to find the house tidied up by them.

The dust on the wooden floor had been swept clean, and every plank was wiped as clean as new.

The dirty clothes in the bathroom had also been washed clean, with the brother Indeedees silently hanging them up on the clothesline outside.

Not only that, Naoki noticed the trash in the garbage bin had also been emptied.

The sister Indeedees even brought him a freshly brewed cup of tea.

”Thank you,” Naoki was stunned for a moment and reached out to take the tea. He happened to be a bit thirsty and drank it all in one gulp.

Hmm, the sister Indeedees’ tea brewing skills were quite impressive!

Naoki was even more surprised, eyes wide, as he watched the brother Indeedees finish hanging clothes and the sister Indeedees brewing tea.

”You know how to do housework?” Naoki asked in astonishment.

”Iya~” the sister Indeedees nodded gently, with a very gentle smile on her face.

Naoki patted his pockets, but couldn’t find anything; he then remembered he’d eaten all the sunflower seed crisps he usually carried.

Seeing his actions, Koraidon seemed to understand Naoki’s thoughts.

It dashed back into the room and took a piece of sunflower seed crisp from Naoki’s snack stash to give to him.

Naoki blinked and looked at the proud face of Koraidon, unable to hold back a laugh.

He patted the big creature’s head, then ate the sunflower seed crisp.

The sister Indeedees repeated, ”Iya~” (Before coming here, Mom and Dad specifically taught us to do housework~).

Whether it’s sweeping, mopping, washing clothes, taking out garbage, hanging clothes, washing dishes, or brewing tea, they excel at it!

No wonder they came from a big estate!

Naoki nodded in agreement. From the looks of it, the two Indeedees didn’t seem to need much looking after.

He put the purchased ingredients in the kitchen, and his peripheral vision suddenly noticed the garbage bin in the corner.

Naoki hurriedly asked, ”Where did you throw the garbage?”

The brother Indeedees pointed to the trash bin on the road outside the ranch, ”Iya.”

Seeing this, Naoki breathed a sigh of relief; at least it wasn’t thrown in the grass or a nook.

Then, a sense of curiosity flashed in his eyes.

”But speaking of which, how did you know I like this kind of tea?”

Hearing this, the sister Indeedees turned to look at Cyclizar.

The brother Indeedees also looked at Cyclizar.

Clearly, both the type of tea and the location of the garbage bin were things Cyclizar told them.

”No wonder.” That made sense now, ”Why don’t you rest for a while? I’ll cook for you.”

Seeing this, the sister Indeedees stepped forward, ”Iya?”

Naoki raised an eyebrow: ”You know how to cook too?”

The sister Indeedees nodded, ”Iya!” (Before coming here, both my brother and I learned, although my brother is clumsy and almost blew up the kitchen several times.)

Brother Indeedees: !!!

He immediately cast a disapproving look at his sister.

Such things should not be said out loud!

Seeing the brother Indeedees’ embarrassed look, Naoki couldn’t help but laugh.

The brother Indeedees turned his head away, lowering his head.

Realizing she had sold out her brother, the sister Indeedees quickly covered her mouth but then realized it was already too late, so she hurriedly tried to cover for her brother:

”Iya, Iya!” (My brother and I specialize in different tasks. I’m good at cooking, brewing tea, taking care of the master and Pokemon, while my brother excels in housekeeping, being a butler, mowing the lawn, and managing the master’s daily schedule, keeping everything in order!)

”Oh, I see.” Naoki nodded cooperatively, praising them, ”You’re both amazing!”

Indeed, if the two Indeedees collaborated, they could significantly reduce his workload.
