I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1439 20.3 Vearth - Not Descending

The group led by Warden Yun Ming finally reached the mansion at the center of the territory of the Mo Clan. This mansion had few floors, but still didnʼt look as majestic as the other God residences within Vearth. They just look like an ordinary mansion in a mortal world. They even bump into a couple who was on their way out. This couple is Mo Baojun and Shen Siwang. They are wearing modern clothes.

A pair of pants and long sleeves which is only different in color and style. This is clearly a couple of clothing the two intentionally wore.

Warden Yun Ming immediately greets the two Sovereigns. ”Yun Ming greets Sovereign Lord Shen and Sovereign Lord Mo.”

Leng Jun and the others were stunned at first but also immediately bow their heads towards this young couple who didnʼt look like sovereigns at all. Moreover, as sovereign they still reside with the Mo family. Sovereign Shen Siwang greeted them with a smile, but as usual Sovereign Mo Baojun possessed a cold yet lazy expression on his face.

”Itʼs you, Yun Ming. If youʼre here then that means, but brother is back,” Sovereign Shen Siwang said.

Yun Ming responded, ”Yes, Lord Ye and Lord Hei are at the usual place.”

”Thatʼs good. We should go and visit them on the way,” said Shen Siwang.

Mo Baojun asked, ”Anything unusual happened in the lower realm?”

”Except for the unexpected chaos energy Lord Hei had found, everything is as usual,” replied Yun Ming.

Mo Baojun spoke, ”It is weird enough that chaos energy which had longed merged with everything in existence to be found in such a state. Either way, that energy is dangerous to exist as it can give birth to another world eater if left alone. I will send more people down there to look for traces of it. Tell that retard to just focus on gathering my nephewʼs soul fragments and forget everything else.”

”Yes, Sovereign Lord Mo,” responded Yun Ming.

Shen Siwang pats his shoulder and says, ”You and Lou Wuye have done well. Take your time to rest and we leave them to you as usual.”

”We are just doing our duties,” said Yun Ming.

Shen Siwang smiled as he understood his words while Mo Baojun noticed that the father and son behind Yun Ming were quasi-chaos beings. Most like one that had successfully adapted to the chaos energy that entered his body and was transformed by someone from the Mo Clan to become their familiar.

Mo Baojun spoke, ”Quasi-Chaos Being. I see, you are here to register your name under the Mo family.”

Leone and Lev suddenly feel like kneeling before Mo Baojun. The feeling was not because he is a Sovereign, but because of something else. After kneeling before Mo Baojun, Leone and Lev salute before him.

”Yes, master.” Leone said as he didnʼt know where he got his courage to call a Sovereign his master.

Mo Baojun said, ”Donʼt worry as someone born from chaos energy, I who was born from the Mo Clan is indeed your master. Thatʼs an instinctive reaction for those who were born to become our familiar. I will register you and your son. Also… received this as a welcoming gift.”

With a wave of his hand, Mo Baojun gave the father and son an orb filled with chaos energy. For Chaos creatures, this energy helps them get stronger faster than normal cultivation resources. This refined chaos energy was made from Mo Baojunʼs origin as someone from Chaos.

”You can use this to increase your childʼs cultivation. This is more useful than other cultivation resources in the system mall.” Mo Baojun said as he passed the orb to Leone and took his leave with his husband. ”We are going to see Xiao Jingʼer. You can do as you wish.”

Yun Ming and the others bow their heads and watch the two Sovereigns who didnʼt look like gods in their current attire leave the village with most of the residents bowing their heads as the couple passes by. There are also some who kneel down, but these guys are new residents who havenʼt gotten used to seeing these two sovereigns.

Once they got used to it, upon seeing these big shots again, a slight bow would be enough. The Mo family isnʼt that fond of formalities after all unless they are working.

After the couple disappeared from their sight, Yun Ming looked at the four stunned people behind him. Those who didnʼt know the four sovereigns would think they exist above all gods. The type that must be respected anytime and one they could never simply approach.

Only those who knew them closely would know that these Sovereign Gods also wanted an ordinary life and never really demanded reverence like how others think of them.

Yun Ming said, ”Surprised?”

”Yes! I heard a lot of praises and rumors about the Sovereign Gods and thought we, ordinary gods, would never be granted such close contact with such beings,” Leone said.

Yun Ming said, ”Maybe the other high-tier Gods like reverence towards them, but the Mo family and their other halves are down to earth. So unless they are offended, they are easy to get along with. Moreover, donʼt be scared of Sovereign Mo Baojunʼs cold face. To their family, that kind of expression is normal. My master, Lord Hei, is a bit special.

He is used to wearing a mischievous smile on his lips, but before he met Sovereign Lord Ye, he was also like Sovereign Mo Baojun, expressionless all the time.”

”Since you are registered, there is no need to bother the Mo Family. There are usually only Seniors staying in the mansion and most of their children are out working. I will show you the central city and show you the routes to the dormitories at the outer ring.”

Meanwhile, as Warden Yun Ming is showing the intern the routes in Vearth, our main couple had successfully returned to the core region of the Nether System. They actually entered the Void, as Ye Xiajie enclosed this region within his domain to protect his wifeʼs original body.

In the Void, Nether Systemʼs Core Region...

Their four children, upon hearing the news from their uncles, immediately looked for their parents. They have had a family bonding since they came to see their Father and Dad. This time, Hei Anjing gave his children refined chaos energy, except for Ye Qinjing.

Their three biological children were born with bodies suitable for chaos energy and they are adaptable to this energy as children of Hei Anjing. But Ye Qinjing is not born from him and chaos energy would most likely drive him into madness, like how the Beast Race ended up in the last world.

While Ye Jingxia, Ye Jingmo and Ye Anxia were meditating to absorb the refined chaos energy from their Dad, Ye Qinjing can only watch at the side. Even though he didnʼt look envious of his siblings, Hei Anjing still feels that itʼs a bit unfair for this adopted son of his.

Hei Anjing held his eldest sonʼs hand and said, ”Xiao Qin, how about you enter the lower realm world with your Father. Not in the next world where I might not be able to wake up, but in the next, next world when I am sure to wake up. How about you change your vessel? Dad doesnʼt mind giving birth to you and becoming Dadʼs blood child.”

”Your Dad is right? Arenʼt those annoying people in this world always calling you adopted? If so, then just get reincarnated as our real son in the lower realm,” Ye Xiajie said.

Hei Anjing said, ”Once I give birth to you, then no one would dare to say anything. I will talk to the God of Reincarnation and make sure that you keep your cultivation and memories you have. Donʼt worry about feeling weak at that time. Dad and your father will protect you with everything I got. So Xiao Qin, what do you think about this plan?”

Ye Qinjing didnʼt expect his parents to do such a thing. Though reincarnation and such is possible in Vearth, it means returning to the state of being a mortal and no one dares to do it unless they have someone to protect them at their weakest state. But his adoptive parents are willing to bear all those hardships just to give him a new body.

One that will allow him to confidently call himself a Ye and a child of the God of Void and the God of Destruction.

Even though the Mo, Hei and Ye families all treated him no different from his siblings, those who are strangers would always point out that he is only an adopted child of his parents. His parents were both famous individuals in Vearth and his Dad was even more popular than his father. They would always compare him to his siblings.

Saying that there is truly a difference between a foster child and a biological one. His siblings would get angry at those people when they heard them speak such words.

Even though he says that he doesnʼt mind the words of those strangers, deep inside his heart he knows that he is truly different from his siblings. If not for him getting absolute control over Time elements, those people would treat him even worse than they are now. Now that his parents wanted to let him become their real child that his tears couldnʼt be controlled.

Seeing Ye Qinjing shed his tears, Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie pulled him in a hug. They comforted this child whom they failed to accompany in his adulthood in the lower realm and even failed to properly protect him as he found them in Vearth. Because of Hei Anjingʼs incomplete soul state, he cannot remain awake for long periods of time.

But from time to time when he peeks outside the Nether System, he would pick up some issues like this which involve their eldest son.

Even though he punished whoever possessed those loose mouths, he couldnʼt stop all of the Gods from talking about it. He is willing to kill all of them for his child, but his state forbids him from being away from his body and he would feel extremely sleepy once he used up his strength. Thatʼs why he felt so much guilt towards Ye Qinjing.

On the other hand, his husband can barely stay for so long in Vearth as he is in a hurry to gather all those missing soul fragments of his.

Ye Qinjing finally calmed down and said, ”I will listen to Dad and Fatherʼs arrangement.”

”Good. We will call upon you when itʼs time for you to come with me to descend in the mortal realm. Until then, I will leave your brothers in your care alright?” Ye Xiajie said.

Ye Qinjing smiled and said, ”Please leave them to me, Father, Dad!”

The family spent time like this for a month this time, and they hardly left the Nether Systemʼs core region until Hei Anjing started feeling sleepy once again. Within that whole month, the parents and children spent a lot of time together. Even though they couldnʼt go home at the moment, just spending time as a family made them extremely happy and satisfied.

Before Hei Anjing once again fell into slumber, Ye Xiajie sent home their children and immediately came back to see his wife. As expected, he is still worried about Hei Anjingʼs words about not being able to wake up in the next world.

The God of Void asked, ”Baby, are you not able to descend into the next world?”

”The chaos energy I refined must be purified further before I can absorb it. With an incomplete soul, itʼs too fragile to bear the overbearing qi the chaos energy possessed. This is also the reason why I didnʼt completely absorb it after taking it away,” Hei Anjing responded. ”I want you to be even more careful in the next world.

AʼXia, not all of my soul fragments accepted the memories I have passed down to them, and like Chaos, they only have hatred in their hearts. This hatred will be amplified, especially if the life they had in their current world is crueler than it is supposed to be. My love, the only thing that is the most painful for me to see is seeing you get killed by me.

So, please, can you take care of yourself better?”

Seeing such a sad expression on his belovedʼs face, Ye Xiajie couldnʼt help but pull him to his lap and hug him. He finally promised and said, ”Okay, I promise you. I will not intentionally get myself killed under their hands.”

Hei Anjing stared at his husband for a long time and finally reached out his hands to hug Ye Xiajieʼs neck, and they shared a long, yearning kiss.

Once their kiss ended, Hei Anjing whispered, ”In the next world, I will give you my immortality.”
