I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1420 19.79 Second Red Star - Jeremy and Shiva woke up.

At the place where Jeremy and Shiva choose to stay and fight until the end.

By the time Leng Jun and the rest arrived in the area, a couple of the wild beasts that had gone mad were there. Not a corpse, a single bone, or ashes were left behind. It was as if they had disappeared all of a sudden, leaving not even one of them existing.

The three subordinates of Jeremy were in shock at this scene. They couldnʼt even see any traces left of their leader and comrade, who chose to sacrifice themselves for them. At this point, they could truly no longer hold back all their tears as they watched the empty area where nothing of their friend was left behind.

”How can this be?”

”Can there not even be a single bone left?!”

”Even though we tried to return as soon as possible, itʼs still too late.”

While the three Elementalist were in despair, Leng Jun thought of another possibility. He continued to observe the area, which was clean and had no traces of anything. After all, by the time they arrived at the area, most of it was covered with thick snow. In Federation Star, it is easy for snow to accumulate as winter is the only season considered all year.

Chuchu whispered, {AʼJun, there is a strong scent of fire lingering in this area. Also, all other elements like wind, earth and water. Based on the thickness of elements in this area, a lot of people had definitely come over in this place and eliminated all those beasts.}

”Who do you think they are, Chuchu?” asked Leng Jun with a teasing tone. Only when it comes to Chuchu will his emotions resurface, as for the others, he has no emotion to waste on them anymore.

Chuchu looked a bit startled and asked, {Do you know who they are, AʼJun?}

Leng Jun nodded his head and looked around. At the nearest tree in the area, Leng Jun noticed some scribbles that one would mistake for something children had randomly scratched. But this is a secret code used by the military in the old days, and as a former member of the special forces, there is no way he would make a mistake about it.

Leng Jun murmured, ”Northeast, is it?”

After a while, he removed all traces of this secret code and approached the trio, who were still mourning at the side.

He said, ”Who the hell are you mourning for? Jeremy might still be alive.”

The three looked up to Leng Jun with sparkling eyes when they heard that their leader might still be alive.

”R-Really?”

”You cannot joke about this!?”

”Boss, this is not a good time to joke around!”

Leng Jun retorted, ”Am I bored enough to joke about the life of my brother? Follow me if you want to see him again.”

He waves his hand and once again gives them wings of fire; this time, all three of them were given a pair. Afterwards, he and Chuchu lead the flight journey; this time they are heading directly to the northeast, near the sea region.

At the temporary campsite of the Interstellar Alliance...

While waiting for dinner, Cid Warlock and the other alliance leaders were having another meeting; this time they were having a meeting on how to split up the fertilized ashes of those crazed beasts affected by the chaos energy. There are those who wanted to have a bigger split, as they had sent warriors during the extermination of those beasts.

”Our elven race killed a lot with the insect race; itʼs only right for us to have a bigger share of it!”

”Thatʼs unfair! How about our race then? Most of us are healers; are you going to say that our share will be smaller?” the Dryad Race said. ”If so, then donʼt send your injured warrior for us to heal. We are not healing anyone unless you give us an equal share!”

”How shameless! You didnʼt fight at all! How can you get an equal share!”

The alliance leaders all fought except for the Insect Race, led by the Zerg King Cid Warlock. Their Hive star is already one of the most fertile land in this star system; moreover, with the awakening of the God of Destruction, his soul, which emits chaos energy, merges into the Hive star at each step he takes. Thatʼs why most of the worlds he entered would be promoted to a small level at least.

Watching the alliance leaders brawl like children, totally unlike their dignified selves, in front of their subordinates, Cid Warlock could only press on his temple, looking over at this scene. As for his confidant, Solan, he had already sneaked out, afraid that he might get pulled into the brawl. He left everything for his king to handle.

After all, compared to the people, he is just a confidant and not the leader of a planet. Seeing that the alliance leaders were about to fight for real, Cid Warlock spoke up.

”Thatʼs enough. We shall do point basis. Fighting and healing will be equally 2 points. Support like cooking and cleaning will be 1 point. As for the resources you found on your own, it shall be your alone. Are these rules okay?” Cid Warlock asked.

He is asking, yet his aura says another.

Obviously, he wonʼt allow them to decline his request, as among all the other races on this planet, his Insect Race did all those things as a vanguard and protector of the rear. In the end, all the alliance leaders agreed to these rules.

Cid Warlock said, ”The distribution of the ashes will be before we leave the Federation. It will be stored in a warehouse, and each race can send a guard.”

”Agreed!” the alliance leaders collectively said.

This is actually the best outcome. Though it is safer if there are only a few guarding the warehouse to avoid others pointing it out among the rest of the tents, this is to avoid conflict within the alliance. As almost all of the races treated those ashes that can make their lands fertile, they were extremely precious.

Cid Warlock said, ”Itʼs time to take a rest. We will begin scouting further south once the sun completely rises. Meeting adjourned!”

Just as they get out of the main tent, a medical staff room, the hospital tent comes over running, reporting to Cid Warlock and the leaders about the two humans whom they just saved.

”Reporting to His Majesty and all Alliance Leaders, the two humans, Jeremy Gregory and Shiva Wen, had both woken up. They are requesting to meet His Majesty, Cid Warlock.”

”They are awake. This is good. Iʼll go see them!” Cid Warlock said as he walked out of the main tent. The other alliance leaders also followed him out to hear what Jeremy wanted to say.

Upon arriving at the personal tent for Jeremy and Shiva, Doctor Kian who just finished checking on their situation, saw Cid Warlock and the other leaders coming in.

Doctor Kian and the other doctors saluted, ”Your Majesty! Alliance Leaders, greetings!”

”I want to speak with your patients; is it alright?” asked Cid Warlock.

Doctor Kian said, ”Yes, except for fatigue and less energy, they should be able to speak. Then we shall check the other patients. Please excuse us.”

He left the tent together with the other doctors. There are still a few injured warriors waiting for them to check on, especially Lucas, whose wound is a bit deep. After the doctors left, Cid Warlock sat beside the side where Jeremy is. Jeremy observed Cid Warlock and obviously recognized him.

Jeremy spoke, ”So you have become the King of the Hive Star, Former Major Cid Warlock.”

”Just as I thought you would recognize me, former Special Forces Agent Jeremy Gregory,” Zerg King Cid Warlock said.

Jeremy didnʼt look friendly when he stared at Cid Warlock at all. After all, even though he knew that it was the fault of the human race that the Halflings like Cid Warlock left, it was quite unbelievable that he chose to return to a time when the human race was in peril. His arrival obviously had nothing good in it.

”Why did you return to the Federation? Those who wanted to eliminate the Halflings all died in that war. Those who you wanted to take revenge on are not here anymore,” Jeremy said.

Cid Warlock said, ”Iʼm afraid you got it wrong. Our revenge had been completely by us on that war. We donʼt overall hate the human race. After all, half of our blood is still that of a human. We are here to help you. Whether it was against the beast race invading you or the chaos energy spreading in your world, we wanted to help.”

”Liar, you didnʼt help us at all when the Apocalypse had arrived!” Shiva Wen shouted. He can still recall how his parents, young siblings, and grandparents freeze to death, and he doesnʼt even know how to save them. He can only despair as he watches his family turn to ice.

Cid Warlock said, ”That might be true. We had forgotten about the Federation Star after the war. This is because we need to integrate within the hive. Our Zerg Empress was also undergoing evolution at that time, and at some point the hive was closed from all of the news outside.

Weʼve only opened the planet after the Zerg Empress was born, and only recently have we heard about the situation on the Federation Star.”

”Thatʼs only an excuse!”

Shiva Wen wanted to say more, but he was stopped by his lover, Jeremy. ”Shiva, stop. They are Halflings affiliated with the Insect Race. Even though they used to live on this planet, their priorities are different from before. It was also good that they are trying to help us this time. Moreover, none of the humans openly help the Halflings when they are being persecuted by the old marshals before.

They donʼt owe us anything.”

”I...Iʼm sorry,” Shiva Wen said as he started crying.

After he lost his family during the Frozen Apocalypse, Shiva wandered in this white world alone until he was taken by soldiers like Jeremy to the Deep Haven to hide. Only then did his life become a bit better. But who would have thought that the Beast Race would invade their planet while the apocalypse itself wasnʼt over yet?

The elders and seniors who had been protecting them all this time sacrificed themselves just to allow them to survive. Now there is that chaos energy causing madness everywhere. Their home is gone, and so are their seniors. He doesnʼt even know how long the human race can survive in this disoriented world.

Shiva Wen mumbled, ”I apologize. So, please... Please help us. We donʼt know where to go next to survive.”

”I will do as much as I can. I beg you to please help the human race,” Jeremy said as he bowed his head together with his lover.

Cid Warlock spoke, ”We are willing to help you; thatʼs why we are here. Who among the humans can decide the fate of your race, Jeremy?”

”General Surge had recently perished, and so did the other seniors. The leader of the human race is my brother and former special forcesʼ captain, Leng Jun,” Jeremy answered.

Cid Warlock was delighted to hear that Leng Jun is still alive and also the leader of the human race. This is the best situation for both sides. Not only Leng Jun is of similar age as he is, he also used to be a good acquaintance of his.

”Captain Leng being alive is the best news. When we save you two and eliminate those mad beasts, Iʼve left a special code nearby. If itʼs Leng Jun, he would definitely find it and go here to find us,” said Cid Warlock.

The couple looked at one another and knew the situation of Leng Jun. Not only is he no longer a human, when they separated from the group, Leng Jun is still in the process of evolution. They told everything about the situation of the Leng Jun and the human race to Cid Warlock and the alliance.

It became a long and serious talk between races and finally the other side learned what truly happened on this planet for it to change this much.
