I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1421 19.80 Second Red Star - Daybreak

Cid Warlock and the alliance upon hearing about a human becoming an Elemental was shocked. Normally, this kind of situation is very rare as it is almost impossible for elementals to like humans. The reason they sign contracts with humans is for mutual benefits.

They will support the human and listen to the orders of their contracted humans, but only if itʼs not something that could harm them. The contract is just to prevent them from harming humans and allow them to take in the world qi of the star where their host is.

After all, it is not possible for them to go to another world unless they were summoned. The contract allowed them to temporarily bind with a human and create a connection between two worlds. Thatʼs why in the eyes of these elementals, their contracted humans are just tools for them to get stronger.

So, for an elemental to sacrifice itself to save a human means their relationship isnʼt simple. They might treat each other as real family, an adoration for a savior or many more rare circumstances between the two. It seems that for Leng Jun and his Fire Elemental Viper King, Chuchu, itʼs both family and savior.

To Elemental Chuchu, Leng Jun is his savior who summoned out from his misery and by signing a contract with him allowed him to heal its wound and gain the opportunity to awaken his bloodline.

Cid Warlock mumbles, ”A human becoming an Elemental? This kind of thing is possible. If so, then are Leng Junʼs memories there, after transforming into another species? If not then those special signs I left behind wouldnʼt be deciphered by him.”

”Please donʼt worry. Brotherʼs memories remained. He should be able to recognize the Major,” said Jeremy.

Cid Warlock sighed in relief when he heard that it would be hard to speak with Leng Jun if he lost his memories of him. That man is a cautious one, if he lost his memories he would definitely treat him as an enemy due to the circumstance of the two racesʼ former enmity and his race being a foreign one and can be considered an invader for entering the planet without permission.

”Thatʼs good then. We shall not bother you anymore. Take a good rest and heal yourself. I will send something for you to eat. We can continue the rest of our conversation for breakfast tomorrow. For now, rest well.

Both of you had suffered a lot.” The Zerg King Cid Warlock said.

”Thank you. We shall do so,” said Jeremy. ”I hope if you my brother really come you inform him we are still alive. When we got separated, it wasnʼt a good situation and he might have thought otherwise.”

”Donʼt worry. I shall inform the soldiers on guard duty to do so,” said Cid Warlock before taking his leave.

After the ones in the tent are left with only the couple, Jeremy and Shiva, they have a private conversation.

Shiva asked his lover, ”Is that person that trustworthy for you to tell everything about this planet? Isnʼt he the one on the news before, the traitor who failed his suicide mission.”

”Those were fake news that the old marshals spread to stop his promotion. After all, he is a Warlock. Someone from the strongest Sentinel Clan. Those old men wanted to suppress him so much that things ended up like that.” Jeremy said.

He heard the real story about the war between the Insect race and the Human race. It can be said that he hated being a human when he heard about the truth of the death of the Zerg Emperor.

Shiva, who was listening to the story about the history of the humans and the Zergs, couldnʼt help but be surprised. He was just a civilian before the apocalypse and he didnʼt know the dark history of the human race. Now that he is hearing about it, he felt even more embarrassed with the words he outspoken before the Zerg King. The humans were at fault.

Not only they caused the war between the human and insect race, but also persecuted the halflings who had been working as a spy for them and even putting their lives on line just to gather more intel about the Zerg Race.

Shiva mumbles, ”I suddenly feel that the death of those old marshals serves them right, but the human sentinels and guides who were dragged by them into the battlefield all died for nothing.”

”That is war. On the battlefield, there is no need for reason. All you need is to fight. The result is only to survive or to die. They died because the war is over. But in war, there is no right and wrong.” Jeremy said.

Obviously, reminding Shiva not to hate the insect race just because they had won the war. As this also means that the Zerg Race lost a lot to achieve such victory.

Shiva said, ”I know. I understand.”

It was at this point that a voice was heard from outside their tent. It is someone from the support staff that does cooking, cleaning and keeping things in order in the camp. He came over to send food as the Zerg King had ordered him to.

”Hello! Iʼm from the kitchen. Iʼm here to serve your late dinner!”

”Oh! Please come in!” said Shiva as his hunger finally woke up when he heard about food.

A halfling Zerg entered, pushing a tray over. He helped the guest pull out a mini table and place it over the bed. This will allow them to eat even when seated on the bed. Plates of hot dishes like white rice, hot seaweed soup, meat, and vegetable dishes were laid on the table. There are also a few small plates of desserts. These are all human cuisines.

Jeremy didnʼt look surprised, as he knew that halflings born on the federation star eat human food. Shiva was different; he heard that the Zerg Race only eats vegetables.

Shiva asked carefully, ”Ahm, I heard that the Zerg Race only eats flowers and vegetables, but this is human food.”

”Haha~ they do. But most soldiers who come here are Halflings. We grew up eating human food. Moreover, ever since King Warlock became the Zerg King, human food can now be found in the hive. Even the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress would try to eat it sometimes. Plus, the alliance soldiers had come with us as well.

We cannot just serve them flowers and vegetables as food,” said the Halfling Zergs.

Jeremy asked, ”Is it alright for us to ask about the alliance? If so, you donʼt mind.”

”Of course! This is not a secret, and most planets in our star system know it. I can tell you everything about it,” said the Halfling Zerg.

After an hour, the Halfling had returned to work as he was being called over from the outside. After saying his goodbyes to Jeremy and Shiva, he ran out to resume his duties after being away for the whole hour.

”Akila! Where are you? Itʼs time for us to wash the dishes!”

”Iʼm here! Iʼm here!” The halfling called Akila panicked and grabbed all the empty plates on the table and prepared to leave. ”Iʼm sorry. I need to continue my work.” Then left as if being chased by someone as his name is still being called outside.

After the halfling had left, Jeremy and Shiva were surprised by the things Cid Warlock had done in the Hive Star. He not only brought the halflings to a new planet where they gained their own small planet associated with the Zerg Race. Under their protection of the Insect Race, the halfling had fully integrated with the Zergs and some of them even chose to live on the Hive Star.

Cid Warlock due to his special bloodline as someone from the Royal Zerg Tribe, the Blue Morpho Butterfly Tribe, he was chosen by the Zerg King at that time King Augustus Kaiser as crown prince candidate. After passing all the trials and successfully undergoing evolution, Cid Warlock was enthroned as the current eraʼs Zerg King.

As for the former Zerg King and Zerg Queen, after evolution they both become this eraʼs Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress. Emperor Augustus left the court to King Cid and spent most of his time with his Empress in their own mansion. Ever since then the decision making on that Hive Star is now in Cid Warlockʼs hand.

”He is… quite amazing~”

Shiva was amazed by the life events of Cid Warlock. From a Major who couldnʼt even become a General to a King of another race. It was the kind of story one would see in a book.

Jeremy nodded his head in agreement. ”If not for those old marshals holding him back before, he would have long become the youngest marshal of our planet. But his life now is better, he is already a king and holds his raceʼs lives in his hands. For him to come here to help us, must be to get a clearance for his past self. This is his birth planet.

Even though he wonʼt be living here anymore, he couldnʼt afford to see it destroyed.”

”No wonder, he came here. He even brought an Alliance over. Does he want the Human race to join this alliance?” asked Shiva.

Jeremey hesitated and said, ”If it is before then my answer is yes, but the situation of the human race is unstable even on our own planet. So, I donʼt know.”

”Itʼs okay. Donʼt think about it. Letʼs go back to sleep,” said Shiva.

The sky gets darker as the night deepens. Those who needed to rest had longed to close their eyes. Those in guard duties can only stand outside the tents staying at the bonfire watching over the whole camp. The evening passed with the tranquility of tonight.

---

At dawn...

The soldiers on night duty guard were waiting for their comrades to change positions. The guarding duties are in a shifting schedule of evening and morning. Now that the sun is already rising, those one morning duties would need to exchange places for those who were on night duties for guarding the camp. The soldiers who were about to exchange places met outside the tent.

But just as the other soldiers return to their tent to rest, a bright light from the distance was found going closer to where they are. Itʼs only daybreak and not completely bright in the area, so the bright light coming closer was too obvious in this dimmed atmosphere.

”What is that light?! Can you see it too?”

”Yes! Donʼt you think itʼs coming closer?”

”Donʼt tell me… are you enemies?”

The sound of sirens ringing in the area~

The guards looked at each other and finally rang the alarm. The whole campsite was caught in surprise, and there were those that abruptly opened their eyes and came out as soon as they heard the alarm. As there are more soldiers in this camp, most of them knew the reason for the sudden unwanted alarm. Itʼs a warning for intruders.

Cid Warlock asked as soon as he came out, ”Report! What is happening?”

A Zerg soldier comes over and reports, ”Your Majesty! A moving light was coming closer to this location. It might be an intruder as it was moving quite fast!”

”Good work! Prepare for battle! Grab your weapons and wear your armor!” shouted Zerg King Cid Warlock.

All the soldiers in the camp, regardless of their race had all geared up. Cid Warlock stood upfront with the alliance leaders, Solan and Roan at his side. Lucas is still injured and resting, as for Kian, he is the head doctor of the hospital. He almost canʼt leave that area unless all patients inside the tent had been treated completely.

Zerg King Warlock stood upfront and watched the bright light that was coming closer to them. It was daybreak and the sun had slowly brightened the sky. As for the moving light, everyone was shocked as they finally knew the reason for the light, as four human figures appeared before them with their glowing wings attached on their backs.

The three humans on the back looked normal except for the weird wings of fire on their backs. What caught everyoneʼs eyes is the youth with purplish-red long hair and red eyes looking down on them from the sky. Zerg King Cid Warlock stared at this youth with shocked and incredulity on his face.

He can only call involuntarily, ”Leng… Jun?”
