It was claimed that this was the Beast Planetʼs largest forest. According to legend, the majority of the beast raceʼs planet is made up of terrain that is covered in big, wide greenies that resemble green stars. With its abundance of greenery and unknown hazards, the Star Rainforest was home to a variety of wild species.

There have been tales circulating that the star rainforest is home to a diverse range of species, some of which have mutated to become larger than typical animals.

In this rainforest, even the trees are enormous. The tallest is equivalent to a three-story structure. The star rainforestʼs presence and quiet immediately announced an unsettling atmosphere as soon as they arrived at the entrance. The God of Void was irritated by Zhi Yueʼs quick reflexes and his grasp of a corner of his Lord Heiʼs clothing, and he was powerless to stop it.

His wife is clinging to two obnoxious brats, and there is another tail that follows him everywhere.

His anger grows the more he sees these brats. If it were not for his sweetheart holding his hand, he would have flung them far from his Jingʼer. Zhi Yue is tugged by the small, silent jaguar, who also writes something on his hand.

{Why is the Zerg Emperor glaring at us?}

Zhi Yue glanced around as soon as he sensed what the small halfling jaguar was saying, and he saw Milordʼs piercing gaze. He gave a start and instantly decided to ignore it.

He said to the young cub, ”Pretend not to see. He is just annoyed that we are sticking to his wife.”

Upon hearing those comments, the small jaguar halfling paused to reflect before releasing the Zerg Empressʼs sleeves that he was holding. But before he could lower his hand, his smaller hand was seized by a soft, somewhat cool hand. He met the Zerg Empressʼs kind gaze when he looked up.

”Donʼt let go, little one. Itʼs dangerous for you to get separated from me,” said Empress Titania.

He treats the cubs with kindness, as one might anticipate, especially the ones who have not grown to adulthood. The Zerg Empress held the small jaguarʼs hands. He stared at it for a moment, then the corner of his mouth turned up a little. They were standing in front of the Star Rainforest gate, having just arrived. They could feel the many eyes hiding within the jungle, staring at them.

The other halfling wolf stepped forward and said, ”This is the first entrance of the Star Rainforest. We canʼt go straight ahead as there is a nest of wild brown bears near this entrance.”

”Is there no other route?” asked Emperor Augustus.

Though mere brown bears wouldnʼt be hard to kill, with the effects of chaos energy on them, those ordinary brown bears had most likely mutated to be closer to a monsterʼs strength. With two burdens on them, unless they use divinity, it would be a bit dangerous.

The Wolf Halfling said, ”The other routes would also require us to pass the habitat of the king python and wild boars.”

”We should choose the wild boarsʼ route then! Pigs are cuter compared to snakes and bears!” said Zhi Yue.

The mute jaguar-halfling youth tugged on Empress Titania and wrote something on his hands. The Zerg Empress waited for the little one to finish writing.

”You want to use the Python route? You want me to freeze their nest for a while and force them to sleep. As long as we arenʼt too noisy, we can walk through that route?” said the Zerg Empress. He was asking the little one beside him, who kept nodding his head as an answer.

Zhi Yue asked with confusion, ”Do snakes even hibernate?”

”Snakes donʼt hibernate, only warm-blooded animals. They bromate over cold seasons. They become less active, eat less, and sleep more. But they can still wake up to eat if they are truly hungry. What this brat said is considered the safest route.

At least we donʼt have to fight as long as we are careful,” explained the Zerg Emperor, but he asked his wife, ”But if they were affected by Chaos energy, would they still be inactive as an ordinary snake, Jingʼer?”

”They do. Among all the elements that can affect Chaos aside from the same element, there is only ice, fire, light, and darkness, as these elements possess the strongest Yin and Yang properties and are the closest to the origin.

Ice and fire elements had weaker effects than light and darkness elements on Chaos Energy, but with the absolute element of fire and ice, it would be more effective than other elements,” said the Zerg Empress. Though these words left the two brats bewildered, the Zerg Emperor immediately understood.

Emperor Augustus suddenly frowned as if he realized something he didnʼt expect and said, ”Then when I was able to enter that area of your soul domain, it wasnʼt just you who pushed me down.”

”Of course, I pushed you in, but the one who called you to that place is that fragment. Even after the death of Hunluan, the chaos had always sought its own destruction. Without its other half, do you think it will still want to exist?” said the God of Destruction.

He had no idea that, at that very moment, his words had caused two menʼs hearts to tremble. The two who were holding his garments at this very time had to release their grip as the Zerg Emperor swiftly grabbed his wife into an embrace. The unexpected closeness startled the Zerg Empress, but then he heard his beloved whisper.

”I will be with you until the end, whether in nothingness or for eternity.”

A genuine smile appeared at the corner of the God of Destructionʼs lips, and he hugged his man back. ”I know. I believe you, AʼXia.”

The three light bulbs looked away in embarrassment as the two love couples were hugging, but one of them glared fiercely and angrily at the couple from a distance. It seemed that only one person had seen it with his own eyes before it abruptly vanished. Zhi Yue began to protest that they were wasting their time, which led to the coupleʼs separation.

As a response, the Zerg Emperor struck Zhi Yue in the head with his fist.

Owie~

On one side the wolf halfling laughed at him, and on the other the small jaguar cub beside him was blowing on his swollen head like a good boy. After some time, the Zerg Empress decided to follow the halfling jaguarʼs advice. He watched the three nests of wild beasts and froze the entire forest entrance.

The brown bear would normally hibernate in the winter, but since this was not a true winter season—just a dip in temperature—it was not weak from the sudden cold. It is feeling a little sleepy, but it can still stay awake.

The sudden drop in temperature does not impact the wild boars. They snuggle close to stay warm because of the size of their group. The only race that progressively nods off as the temperature decreases is the snake race, who are extremely weak in the cold and experience great weakness throughout their body.

They were all fast asleep within a few hours. The group noticed enormous snakes wrapped around the trees above their heads, with a few tube limbs dangling feebly from the tree branches, as they walked by the pythonsʼ habitat. This scene would probably cause those who are afraid of snakes to pass out. The gang eventually made their way through the entryway and into the Star Rainforest securely.

The Zerg Empress led the way as they began to move around. He was dragging his spouse along while holding onto Zhi Yue, the small halfling jaguar, and his clothes. The adult wolf halfling, for his part, trailed closely behind the others, alert in case danger came near their group.

Even if he fears that, as an adult, he must not cling to the Zerg Emperor or else the Zerg Emperor will kill him right there.

Zhi Yue asked, ”Lord Hei, have you found what you are looking for? This place is creepy. How there are so many eyes looking at us, but donʼt dare to come out.”

”It is truly weird. Before some entered the forest, they would instantly be surrounded by those mutated animals with gray eyes. How come no one is coming for us?” said the Halfling Wolf.

The Zerg Emperor saw that his wife was giving off a faint silver aura that scared every beast in the forest. He feels a lot of untamed animals fleeing from them. The God of Destruction did not use this aura at the entry for the same reason.

He wished to prevent the untamed animals from emerging from the Star Rainforest and wreaking destruction outside the forest, as this would undoubtedly result in many fatalities. Since the region is sufficiently large for them to flee, even if he makes the animals run, they would not be able to escape the jungle now that they are within.

The Zerg Emperor ignored the two brats and asked his wife, ”Baby, have you found what you are looking for?”

”Found it. Itʼs this way,” said the Zerg Empress, leading them to the cliff whose depth cannot be seen by the naked eye.

Zhi Yue asked in surprise as he looked at the deep cliff before their eyes. ”A cliff? Is what Lord Hei looking at under the cliff?”

”Look down. Itʼs there,” said the Zerg Empress. They all looked down and saw a small cluster of white, blue, and purple star flowers.

As soon as the Zerg Emperor saw those small, familiar flowers, he immediately understood the source of the chaotic energy that caused disharmony on this planet.

”Itʼs Chaos flowers. How can it grow here?” said the God of Void with a frown as he noticed that the eyes peering at them had gotten closer.

The larger ones stared at them, but the weaker ones had already fled. The distance between them had shrunk dramatically the instant they got closer to the brink. This indicates that they are attempting to defend the star flower, which in Vearth is also referred to as the Chaos Flower.

Grrrrrr~ rooaar~ Caws~

Suddenly, a few massive animals like wolves, black bears, tigers, and even large eagles emerged to encircle their tiny party on land and in the air. The children and the mortals in their group were scared by this.

Emperor Augustus said, ”They immediately appeared as soon as we found the flower. They donʼt want us to take it away?”

”Of course. This is also their source of power. Once it was destroyed or taken away, they would return to normal,” said Empress Titania while placing the little jaguar halfling under his protection.

As for the other halfling, it tried to hide behind the Zerg Empress, but did dare to come over as the Zerg Emperor gave him a deadly glare. As for Zhi Yue, he is in front, ready to fight, even though he is a bit fearful thanks to the enemiesʼ size and numbers.

”Lord Hei, what should be done?” asked Zhi Yue.

The Zerg Empress thought for a moment and stared at the young one beside him, trembling in fear. ”Since I canʼt take it away, My love, burn it to nothing!”

”Are you sure, Baby?” asked the Zerg Emperor.

”Iʼm sure!”

”Okay…”

With a snap of his fingers, the God of Void raised his palm to reveal a ball of black flames. It is Hell Flames, the fundamental component of all fire in the universe. The most intense and powerful fire in all dimensions. It has the power to consume even gods, leaving only ashes behind.

The massive wild creatures that surrounded them gave a tiny retreat when the black flames emerged, but they did not flee.

The God of Void noticed that none of the beasts had run away and said with a cold tone of voice, ”Since you donʼt want to leave, then stay here forever.”

The adult halfling wolf leaped on the Zerg Emperor and pushed him off the cliff, seizing the small cub that was clinging to the Zerg Empress, just as he was ready to burn down the entire region, including the cluster of chaos flowers at the edge of the cliff.

Everyone was taken aback, and Zhi Yue was in complete disbelief when he witnessed the Halfling wolf transform into a man with features resembling Milordʼs actual face.

”Ah! What is he doing?!” Zhi Yue shouted, ”Ah! Who the hell is he!?”

Glaring at the man who was falling off the cliff with him, the God of Void was enraged. ”Tun Shizhe, you again! I will kill you!”

”Heh~ I wonʼt allow you to burn such a useful thing!” Tun Shizhe floated towards the side of the cliff taking away the cluster of Star Flowers. ”Thank you for showing me the way, Jingʼer~”

”Who the hell are you calling Jingʼer!?” shouted the God of Void who unfurled his wings to chase after the bastard who flirted with his wife at the last moment.
