I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1438 20.2 Vearth - Feels like home

Lord God An looked at Leng Jun and Chuchu, who were certified to work for the Nether System as interns. Since their cultivation still hasnʼt reached the minimum requirement as a High God, they can only work as an intern until they reach this stage of cultivation and become a full-time employee.

”That kid there, so you want to borrow a puppet vessel for your partner. It would be a bit dangerous for him to stay in his soul form, if he worked in such a state. I can give you a high end puppet vessel, but for half a year your intern allowances shall be halved. Your original internship allowance was 500 points each with less 250 points monthly you have 250 points for each of you.

500 points should be enough for you two to live through every month. Interns will be provided a dormitory until you become a full-time employee, but still if you want your partner to ascend as a real god then you will have to save some points to buy some cultivation resources.

You can exchange from the Nether System Mall, but donʼt forget to eat as your partner cannot not eat as a Demigod.” Lord God An Liang said.

Leng Jun and Chuchu knew that these benefits were provided by their superior before them. Ordinary interns donʼt have such a big allowance, but it seems that the Nether System is quite good to their employees.

”Thank you, Lord God An Liang!” said Leng Jun and Chuchu.

Lord God An Liang said, ”No worries. Just do your task. Donʼt forget to train and get stronger as soon as you can. Our Netherworld is in need of workers; itʼs just that itʼs hard to recruit as the requirements are strict. It would be different like your case, which is a recommendation from the two sovereigns that rule this Netherworld.”

He then looked at the father and son. ”As for you two, you have the option of leaving your son in our care, and we will provide him education, protection, and training while you are out of Vearth working as a Field Warden. Your situation is different from these pairs as your master is Xiao An instead of Xiao Ye. Chaos beings can only serve the Mo Clan.

Even though you are only a quasi-chaos being, your life is under the control of the Mo family.”

”I donʼt know much of the benefits the Mo clan gave to their familiars, but I heard some information from the first batch of Chaos beings that come through me before you. You will be provided a house within the territory of the Mo Clan and this is within the inner ring.

Because your son is only a demigod you can only temporarily stay at the outer ring when he reaches godhood then you can live in the house provided for you.”

”You can live with these children in the same dormitory for free as well. As for your allowance as intern field warden, 1000 points a month. 500 points for your own use and another 500 for buying necessary resources in the System Mall before you leave Vearth. Donʼt take lower realm worlds for granted.

Sometimes prisoners with higher cultivation that escaped from the Nether System would be found in the lower realm. Half of your points are for you to buy items for protective measures. It will only be accessible when you are about to leave the upper realm.”

”I suggest that you go with Warden Yun Ming and report to the Mo Clan first. You will be given the benefits for someone who serves the Mo Clan,” said Lord God An.

He then once again looked at Leng Jun and Chuchu. With a wave of his hand a wooden puppet that looks life-like except for it, not having a face made it seem like a real humanoid being.

”Iʼve completed your registration. This is your nether systemʼs uniform. You must wear it when you go to work. This is your space terminal which also records your points. It can also be used for spatial teleportation within Vearth.”

”The space portal directly to the Nether System you guys had been given access to. This will also be used for your identification. Iʼve also opened the access for the System Mall of the Nether System. If you want to check the System Mall of the God System you will have to approach a staff from the Central City and temporarily have access to it. It needs points though.

Iʼve also availed 100 years free spatial teleportation within Vearth for you, except for private properties and forbidden regions you can use this teleport anywhere in Vearth for 100 years. Well after hundred years you will have to pay with points for it to the Hei Clan for maintenance and extension of use for spatial transfer within Vearth.

Well, you can only choose not to use teleportation and just fly or walk around. It just took time. If youʼre in a hurry then just use this Spatial Teleportation Portal.”

”Your points for this month have been transferred. I will send someone to show you the way to the dormitory at the outer ring and within Vearth,” said Lord God An Liang.

Warden Yun Ming spoke, ”Lord An, Wuye and I will send them the way. We are about to rest and go home after he is done with his current task.”

”Oh, right. You guys are on vacation until the next mission. They can start working after three days so they can adjust to this world. I still have a lot of work to do. You guys may go now,” said Lord God An Liang as they were sent out of the office and appeared in the wide hallway of the castle.

---

In the hallway of the castles, which is usually ever-changing, their small group appeared.

Warden Yun Ming was used to it, but the ones with him arenʼt. He looked a bit entertained at the shocked faces of the people beside him.

He said, ”This is a space shift. The space within this castle walls is all everchanging. I will have you start memorizing the space shift in the place or you will get lost, especially when you arenʼt able to use teleportation on your own. The reason for this is because prisoners like to run away. This space shift exists to hinder their escape route.

This always changes, and since there are lots of patterns, you will have to work hard a bit.”

Warden Yun Ming passed the current set of safe routes during space shifts in the Nether Castle. He passed the knowledge directly to their heads, and there is no need to remember it at all. It would be recorded in their memories, though this would fade at night; they would have to get the new routes the next morning.

”Okay, for now we will go to the territory of the Mo Clan. In Vearth there are lots of family clans, and all of them are gods, as you know. There is hierarchy between these clans; the strongest family in Vearth is the Mo Clan, followed by the Hei Clan, and so on and so forth. By the way, the Mo Clan is Lord Heiʼs maternal family, while the Hei Clan is his paternal family.”

”As for the creators of Vearth, itʼs the Sovereign of Creation and Light, Sovereign Shen Siwang, who rules the God System, and the Sovereign of Void and Darkness, Sovereign Ye Xiajie, who rules the Nether System. These lords are brothers. As for their other half, in short, their wives, Lord Shen Siwangʼs wife, is the youngest son of Lord Mo, Lord Mo Baojun.

As for Lord Ye Xiajie, his wife, is Lord Hei Anjing, whom you both met. Lord Hei Anjingʼs father is the elder brother of Lord Mo Baojun.”

Leng Jun and the others were bewildered by this explanation and asked, ”But the two sovereigns are brothers; is incest allowed in this world?”

”Ah? Oh, you got it wrong. Even though Lord Shen and Lord Ye are said to be brothers, they werenʼt connected by blood. Unlike other gods and goddesses whose origin is mortal, these two Venerable lords arenʼt. They are born gods from light and darkness. When they exit, they are already both gods born from the universe itself.

The reason they are brothers is because they were gods born at the same time. The two of them treated each other as brothers for such a reason,” Warden Yun Ming explained.

This is the first time they heard that Gods can also be born as God from the beginning. Though this situation is rare itself, Leng Jun and the others had accepted it well.

They left the Nether Prison and once again passed through that towering gates from before. Now they had enough time to look at the world before them. It is a different world from theirs, as if the land were split into multiple types of world compressed into one.

There is a style of futuristic design that uses spaceships as a means of transportation. There is also fantasy style which uses unicorns as mounts as well as elven wings to fly. Also, a cultivation-style mode of transportation like riding a sword or something. There are also normal cars, carriage pulled by horses, hover cars, etc. Itʼs like a mixed-genre world where everything is possible.

Leng Jun and the others were surprised by this kind of world.

Warden Yun Ming said, ”You guys can fly, right? Letʼs go. This time I will show you the way towards the central market at the inner ring and show you the way towards the outer ring. Letʼs go to the Mo Clan first.”

Beings who reach godhood can fly. Itʼs proof of heavenʼs acceptance to their ascension. Likewise, deities who are only god in name and not in body cannot fly, as they are still mortals in reality. As for Demigods, their divinity is limited. They can fly, but only for a short period of time. The first location the group headed to is the Mo Clanʼs Territory.

---

Mo Clanʼs Territory

This is the only private territory of a god that looks like a small village instead of a majestic place for Gods to live. Within such a large span of land, what exists at the center is just an ordinary mansion that can be found anywhere. Not far from it are various mansions that arenʼt much different than the one at the center.

Unlike the other territory of God, where huge ancient castles or palaces were built, this area was simple and minimalist, looking like an ordinary neighborhood.

Leng Jun, Chuchu, Leone and Lev were stunned upon arriving at the Mo Clanʼs Territory. Similar to their home before, they were welcomed by rows of houses and numerous people walking around the street. There were some who were playing musical instruments, some holding hoe and farming at the side, and there were also people holding fishing rods.

It was as if they returned to an ordinary mortal world where life is simple and ordinary.

Leng Jun said, ”What is this place? Itʼs like...”

”Like the lower realm worlds?” said Warden Yun Ming.

{Yes! The feeling is so similar when we are in the Federation Star or in the Spirit world.}

”Thatʼs normal. The Mo Clan is the only clan in Vearth which wasnʼt so obsessed with the meaning of God. They only wanted to leave an ordinary life and thus, their territory is quite similar to the ordinary lives of those from the Mortal Realm. Letʼs go to the Mo familyʼs mansion first.”

On their way, a lot of the people living in this area greet Warden Yun Ming. They treated him not as a powerful god but as a young man who just returned from work. There are lots of elders and children in this location and they are freely able to do anything they want.

”Xiao Yun! You are back! Where is your lover?”

”He still has some work left. He will be back a bit later,” Warden Yun Ming responded.

”Yunyun, you are here. Come with grandma. The persimmons in my garden have ripened. You are on your way to the Mo family, arenʼt you? Can you please send some to the masters for me?”

”Of course, Grandma Chi,” said Warden Yun Ming as he received a basket of ripe persimmons. He gave one to the four who were following after him, ate one for himself and saved one for his lover.

Leng Jun, Chuchu, Leone and Lev look around, feeling that familiar sense of home. It was as if they didnʼt leave their home and were not in the Upper Realm, where everything is huge, majestic and terrifying. In this territory, they feel like they are home and their anxiety slowly fades. They walked towards the center of the village and walked through ordinary cemented roads.

They can see families spending time together, full of happiness. There are even some who are sweeping leaves in front of their houses.

Warden Yun Ming noticed their liking to this place and said, ”Leone and Lev had no problems as they already have a house in this place. You can also save some points to buy a house here, but you will need permission from Lord Mo if you want to live in this place. Donʼt worry, Lord Mo is a friendly person.”

”I also wanted to, but... I still need to give Chuchu a real body first,” said Leng Jun.

Warden Yun Ming patted his shoulder and said, ”You can take your time. As a God, time is all we have.”
