I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1433 19.92 Second Red Star - Zerg Empress and Lord Chaos

The death of the Ice Elemental Snow God wasnʼt surprising, yet the scene of it was a sight one could hardly forget. There was no blood or flesh due to the explosion of his body. Nothing was left behind except for a white mist, which gave people a cooling feeling. Even his original body, which was towering and made of snow, crumbled under everyoneʼs sight, leaving only those he had devoured alive.

As for those who were frozen, the Zerg Empress glanced at them once to know their situation.

Before descending, Empress Titania looked at Lord Chaos, who had approached her. This man is a part of himself, yet he didnʼt have the intention to merge with him. The God of Destruction didnʼt mind, as he knew that regardless of whether he wanted to merge with him or not, in the end he would still merge with him.

The Zerg Empress said, ”Are you that bored that you would even spend time with that guy? Have you forgotten who you almost killed by one of his fragments before?”

Snort!

”You can even love the man who caused your death; why canʼt I do something similar?” retorted Lord Chaos.

Everyone expected the Zerg Empress to get angry, but he was nonchalant and did not even react much to Lord Chaosʼ words. Obviously, he didnʼt mind his words at all.

Empress Titania responded calmly. ”That is also true. By the way, I saw what happened before. You save a mortal. That is so not like you. If you were a part of me, you would never have that kind of emotion.

Have you mutated in another way or... have you started gaining some feelings for... Heh~ I will only say this once. If you ended up falling in love with my man, the only way for you to stay by his side is to merge with me. After all, I am the only person he can love and no one else. What he feels towards you and my other soul fragments are guilt and regrets.

The care and love he shows you is because you are a part of me and not because of who you are. You should wake up in reality. Ye Xiajie can only be mine and mine alone!”

This declaration is strong and full of confidence. It can be said that the God of Destruction isnʼt wrong. The actions the God of Void has taken in the past few words can be said to be distant and observing. Unless he is one hundred percent sure that the person is a fragment of his wife, he would never show any other emotions than coldness and indifference.

As for the guilt and regret this God of Void shows from time to time, it was because of what happened to Snow.

Even though forgetting Snow in the Void wasnʼt 100 percent his fault and itʼs the problem caused by the God of End, the one who gave that immeasurable pain to Snowʼs heart is still him. The other soul fragments of the God of Destruction noticed this. Even though they feel that the God of Void has indeed loved them, it is still different from the love he gives to the God of Destruction.

Thatʼs why they agreed to merge with the God of Destruction. What they wanted wasnʼt a love full of guilt or regrets, but that kind of compassionate yet obsessive love between two people. A feeling of love that can last for eternity.

The Zerg Empress carefully watched Lord Chaosʼs reaction. After giving him a meaningful smile, Empress Titania seems to have seen something through him and finally ignored him. He descended to the ground to meet with the two wardens who are protecting the aborigines of this star system.

Lord Chaos remained expressionless at the words of the God of Destruction, but upon closer look, the hand hidden within the sleeves of his clothes was gripped strongly enough for him to bleed. How can the scent of blood escape the nose of the Zerg Empress? It was only right now that Lord Chaos felt turbulence within his heart that was about to get out of control.

Even so, he never regrets saving Leng Jun and Chuchu. He had never regretted any action he had taken. Like when they took their lives in the Void, maybe the real reason for that action wasnʼt out of hate. But for Lord Chaos, he was born with only that hate, which is why he can never get along with the God of Destruction, who was reincarnated with different kinds of feelings.

With his mood completely destroyed, Lord Chaos only glanced at the outer space where the two men were still fighting and opened a space door without looking back at the mortals. After all, in his eyes, more of his actions are whimsical, and he had no intention of getting further involved with these mortals. He took his leave without looking back.

Only Chuchu and Leng Jun watched the departure of Lord Chaos; after all, even though his actions were based on whims, he still saved them twice. They were grateful to him, but that didnʼt mean that they could repay him. After all, one is a god of unknown origin, while the other is just a newly born god and a demigod.

As the Zerg Empress approached the wardens, the crowd of living were about to kneel to him once again, but a single gesture of stop made them halt their actions. This is instinctive action; after all, most people in this place are soldiers who have all undergone beatings from this person, especially when he had nothing to do. So, they would never go against his will at all times.

Empress Titania spoke, ”How are things?”

”Reporting to Lord Empress, the two protagonist sons are alive,” said Marquess Silver.

Colonel Bailey said, ”Please take back your power. I canʼt start the repair as I couldnʼt contend with it.”

”Taking it back is not a problem, but... The Zerg Empress looked at the Elementals, who were staring at him innocently. ”If I took it all back, these elements wouldnʼt have a place to live.”

The Ice Elemental Penguin King was stunned when he heard that he would lose his home. For elements that have lost their place, they can only slowly weaken and disappear in the end.

{I... I donʼt want to die. I donʼt want to be separated from my dad! Boohoo~} said the Ice Elemental Penguin King, who started crying like a child at it and hugged his Zookeeper father, who was now carrying him in his arms.

The Zookeeper Uncle asked politely, ”Venerable Lord, is there no other way for the Elementals to exist in this world once you take away your power?”

”There is. I can transfer most of the elements to certain areas where they can live. But... are you humans willing to share this planet with them?” asked the Zerg Empress.

The first to speak out was Jeremy. He knew that his brother wouldnʼt speak out for humans, as he was no longer one. As the current representative of the human race, he had the right to speak out for them.

”We are willing! Not only have they helped us fight and protected us at the last moment, they are beings who were also born on this planet. It will be unfair to have them disappear. Moreover, some of them are families with humans. So, we are willing to share this planet with them,” Jeremy said.

As soon as Jeremey voiced his intentions, the humans, who were a bit scared of making a mess in the presence of such a powerful being, finally spoke out as well. They were also protected by the elements when their gods were fighting that mad one. They had long accepted their existence as a friendly neighborhood.

”Thatʼs right. They havenʼt done anything wrong.”

”The Fox King rarely goes down the ice mountains, and this little guy even protected the humans in the south region.”

”We are grateful for them. They protected us when we were weaker than they were.”

”At least they are different from that scary Wolf God.”

Leng Jun finally spoke up and said, ”Please just give them the south pole and ice mountain regions. I hope you help us, Venerable Lord Empress.”

The Zerg Empress stared at Leng Jun as if scrutinizing him, which made the couple a bit uncomfortable, but they didnʼt voice their discomfort.

”Okay. Then I shall move most of the elemental qi to those two places. Since you accept them, then this world will no longer be owned by the human race alone. You must have some kind of treaty with the spiritual race to keep the world in balance,” Empress Titania said.

”Also, when my husband comes, you should ask him to remove the power of gluttony in you. That power isnʼt something you can control. You are already on the verge of going out of control.”

Leng Jun smiled helplessly when he heard that. He himself knew how hard he had tried to stop his urges to eat something, and the helpless feeling of hunger that could never be satisfied made him extremely uncomfortable.

”I want to thank the Venerable Lord for the help,” said Leng Jun as he bowed his head.

The Zerg Empress nodded his head and flicked a bit of divinity to put the power of chaos inside Leng Jun in a slumber state. At the very least, he wouldnʼt suddenly go out of control, as the chaos energy in him can suppress this power that devours everything.

”When my husband returns, you can tell him he will definitely help you. After all, that power was rightfully his,” said the Zerg Empress as he made a move to summon the eternal ice after moving away from the crowd.

Leng Jun mumbled in shock, ”Eh? But isnʼt this power from that other person the Zerg Emperor is fighting against?”

Colonel Bailey patiently explained, ”The Zerg Emperor and that man from before came from the same origin, thus they possessed similar strength. It is impossible for Lord Tun Shizhe to help you as he hates mortals. Even if you are a god now, you still used to be one. He will not help you remove that power in your body even if you beg.

Our Milord is also capable of wielding, so there is no need for you to worry about.”

”Leng Jun, these are my teachers. This is Teacher Bailey. He is a colonel and the wife of my other teacher. This is my other teacher, Marquess Silver.” Cid Warlock introduced his teachers to this new friend of his.

Leng Jun politely greets them, ”Itʼs a pleasure to meet you. Can I ask a few more questions if you donʼt mind?”

”Go ahead,” said Colonel Bailey with his usual business smile.

Leng Jun asked, ”This power of gluttony. Why does it drive peopleʼs minds? Why was it suddenly under control after mixing with that other power, the Chaos Energy, that can cause madness?”

”This is because gluttony was born from chaos. Both powers can cause madness to their hosts; unless it was the one who was born with this power, all others who got this power will go mad in the end. Chaos is much more powerful than gluttony; this is why it could restrain it, but that itself is temporary.” Colonel Bailey responded.

Leng Jun said, ”I see. But would the Zerg Emperor be alright after taking this power?”

”Milord will be alright. He has his wifeʼs blessing. Because of this, he will never lose control over this power and be able to wield it as his own.” The one who answered the second question was Marquess Silver, who stood beside Colonel Bailey.

Suddenly the land rumbles, and everyone canʼt help but look at the Zerg Empress, who moves away from their group to do something. Under everyoneʼs eyes, the icy mountain range was removed from the west region and thrown towards the north area. The scene of mountains floating in the sky left everyone dumbfounded.

Cid Warlock and Leng Jun, who were also gods, were stunned by the scene and whispered to one another.

”Do you think we can do the same thing in the future?” asked Zerg King Cid Warlock.

Leng Jun retorted, ”Stop dreaming!”
