I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1413 19.72 Second Red Star - Tun Shizheʼs Situation and Arrival of the Alliance

After escaping the Void, Tun Shizhe was wounded enough that he lost consciousness after forcibly escaping from the Void. The hell creatures are immortals in the abyss. They couldnʼt be killed like elementals as long as their source existed. Moreover, the hell creatures are merciless, and they only listen to the commands of the owner of the Void.

Since they canʼt be killed, he can only eat as much as he can, free himself from their clutches, and make a hole to escape the domain of darkness.

His injuries are now worse than before. At least before, he only needed to heal his hand, and the rest were completely healed. But now itʼs different; the coercion effect of the void on any existence is too powerful. Thatʼs why the sovereign God of Light, Shen Siwang, rarely stays in his brotherʼs domain. As an area filled with all negative existence in the world.

It wouldnʼt affect the evil gods much, but for the other gods, they would be corrupted by it becoming a fallen.

Chaos and destruction are not considered evil. As everything in the world is in balance, there are things that can exist as both good and evil. Unlike the darkness, which only corrupts, the chaos can cause disharmony and, at the same time, nourish. There is a saying that for something new to be born, there must be an end. It can happen through chaos or destruction.

Thatʼs why, even if these two powers mostly lean toward being evil, they werenʼt considered evil.

Gluttony is a branch of chaos; it might be an evil power, but it only devours and does not cause any corruption like the darkness. Thatʼs why, when Tun Shizhe was dropped in the abyss, he was still able to escape, as his ability is something the darkness cannot completely restrain. They could affect each other, but they couldnʼt completely eliminate each other.

When he was dragged to the depths of the darkness, Tun Shizhe blocked out for a while. After waking up, he saw his soul being tainted by the darkness and instantly devoured whatever restrained him from escaping. After coming out of the void, he fell somewhere within the space. Covered with traces of corruption in his soul, Tun Shizhe opened his eyes while in pain.

The coercion of the darkness element in the soul is so painful that even God would choose to avoid it.

This is also the reason why the gods in Vearth didnʼt like being around Ye Xiajie. As the God of Void and Darkness, he is no different in his ability, and just being by his side made others susceptible to becoming a fallen god.

Fallen Gods are different from Demon Gods. The latter is born within the darkness and negative, while the former is the result of a god going mad and losing his godhood, becoming a being that isnʼt a god nor a demon. They are just gods that have gone mad and would never be able to become gods again unless they chose to reincarnate.

But for Gods, reincarnation is like a gamble. They can either be born as a God descendant or have the opportunity to become God again. Or become a mortal stuck in the mortal realm, tainted with endless karma, sin and merits.

Somewhere in space...

Tun Shizhe, bearing the pain in his soul, couldnʼt help but curse as he tried to move his body. He tried using gluttony to devour the darkness in his soul, but a taint cannot be sucked out; it can only be purified or taken away by someone who can control the darkness. Unfortunately, he is not a God that can use holy powers or the God of Void.

He tried to ignore the pain in his soul as he moved. But each move, each breath and a single gesture made his soul tremble from pain. That process of tainting oneʼs soul cannot be stopped once it begins. Tun Shizhe, with a deep frown on his pale face, waves a hand to make a crack in space and passes through it. This space tunnel is directly connected to the dimension where Chaos is staying.

At the opposite side of the tunnel, Lord Chaos noticed the space crack that appeared out of nowhere. He only glanced at it and said, ”You are finally back. How could you take too long for something you canʼt take away? Are you stu---”

THUD!

Lord Chaosʼ words halted when he heard something fall. He turned his head to see Tun Shizhe, who is left with only a missing arm and is now full of black spots and injuries all over his body. As a being that is like a god, it is weird for Tun Shizhe to return to such a state.

Obviously, he fought with someone and barely escaped. In this world, those who can make Tun Shizhe in such a state are limited to the number of hands. Adding the traces of darkness to his soul, he immediately knew who Tun Shizhe had fought.

Seeing Tun Shizheʼs state, Chaos conjured an ice stick, poking at the unconscious Tun Shizhe on the ground.

”Hello, are you still alive?” asked Chaos. He didnʼt look worried at all. After all, since the man has escaped, these wounds are nothing to him. ”At least he is breathing. Boring~”

Even after mumbling these words, Chaos didnʼt help the man on the ground at all. Instead, he chose to ignore him. With a snap of his hand, a hammock appeared in the area, and he laid down on it. He took a nap. After taking a nap, Tun Shizhe, who was on the ground, woke up. He tried to stand up and hissed in pain that spread through his soul.

Tsk!

Tun Shizhe ignored the pain and finally sat down from the soft chair he sat on. Upon hearing his groans, Chaos, who was sleeping in his hammock, woke up and looked at him.

”Oh~ youʼre awake. How unlucky are you to bump on the God of Void? He is more heavy-handed this time. What did you do? By the way, did you find the source of chaos energy?” asked Chaos. He was actually curious why Tun Shizhe returned like a beaten egg when he returned from his journey.

Tun Shizhe, who had just closed his eyes, trying to ignore the pain, was irritated by the queries of the other person with him in the dimension. Just thinking about how he foolishly thought he got the source of chaos, who would have expected that what he got were leftovers? He pulled out the starflowers in his space inventory and showed them to Chaos.

As expected, Lord Chaos laughed when he saw the bouquet of star flowers in his hand. ”Hahaha~ What the hell is that? With how powerful the chaos energy is for me to sense it from here, there is no way it would only be that.”

”I know. I was fooled. The real one was under the cliff. I lost myself for a moment and tried to devour the chaos energy under the cliff, which is being refined by Jingʼer,” storied Tun Shizhe.

Lord Chaos abruptly added, ”And you got hit by the angered God of Void. He must have thought that your actions would affect my main body. No wonder he hit you hard this time. Your alter ego is overprotective of him. He is quite serious that he directly used the Domain of Void against you this time.”

”He intended to kill me by summoning his minions from hell just to drag me to the abyss,” said Tun Shizhe.

Lord Chaos turned silent for a moment before saying, ”It seems it will be harder for you to approach my main body next time. But arenʼt you lucky... He had always awakened in the past worlds. Maybe in the next one, he might not.”

”What do you mean?” asked Tun Shizhe.

Lord Chaos said, ”Chaos energy is hard to digest, which is why he chose to refine it in his body first. It would take hundreds of years or a millennia for a mortal body to make it completely his own. Plus, with his soul incomplete, it would be better to do it in the Upper Realm, where there is more qi to help him.”

”Thatʼs good news then,” mumbled Tun Shizhe, as his bad mood due to anger and pain was forgotten this time.

Though Lord Chaos can guess what evil plans are going on in the mind of Tun Shizhe, he didnʼt warn him how meticulous his main body is, especially if he plans not to awaken in the world where his other half is. After all, just based on his personality alone, it would be hard to say that he wouldnʼt be having back-up plans for situations like this.

Moreover, it was entertaining to see this man suffer. He would just watch what would unfold in the next world.

Even so, before he closed his eyes, Lord Chaos wouldnʼt help but glance at the familiar state of Tun Shizhe. In his memories as Snow, he had suffered from the same thing for a long period of time that went beyond a millennium. It let him recall the pain and agony, as well as loneliness, he had suffered in that lifetime.

His good mood faded and he tried to forget the nightmare he couldnʼt forget in his life. He wouldnʼt help but wonder how his main soul could live a happy life after all the suffering they had undergone and even forgive the man who caused all his pain.

Arrival in the Federation Star

Cid Warlock and the intergalactic alliance that came with him had finally reached their destination. They didnʼt know that the Beast Race that they were intending to stop had all perished except for the King of Beast, Leonhart. They also didnʼt know about the existence of the chaos energy, which is the real cause of the beastmenʼs actions.

Once they enter the Federation Star, Cid Warlock and the other halflings reach the ground of their former planet. They were in dazed to see nothing similar from their memories. The Frozen Apocalypse had completely changed the terrain on this planet. There is only snow and natural scenery can be seen right now.

Even Cid Warlock and his confidant, who vividly tried to recall their memories, say that nothing on this planet now looks familiar to them.

Actually, it wasnʼt only halflings who were shocked by the scenery on the former human planet. With how abundant the snow is and the only natural landscapes that can be seen in the area, they almost couldnʼt recognize this planet.

Zerg King Cid Warlock said, ”Is this truly the Federation Star?”

”Iʼve controlled all spaceship available in the market. There is no way I would make a mistake with the route! This is definitely the Federation Planet!” said Lucas, a subordinate of Cid Warlock whose specialty is intergalactic mapping and route. He is also the engineer of their team and handles everything that involves the spaceship under their control.

Even Kian and Solan were stunned by the scene before them; they truly couldnʼt see any resemblance to the Federation Star they knew or to the one before their eyes.

”The whole planet is covered in snow. So, it was true that this planet had entered the stage of the apocalypse. I could hardly see any traces of humans on this planet anymore,” said Kian.

Solan observed and commented, ”If they can live on the land above the surface, then the only choice is underground.”

”But itʼs strange... How come this world feels like there is nothing living on it? Isnʼt there supposed to be a war?” asked Lucas.

The other leaders of the race also looked bewildered at the scene on this planet. It would be good if the Beast Race didnʼt attack this planet, seeing that it looks empty. But the tranquility and quietness of the world leave them with an even more dangerous feeling. Itʼs the fear of the unknown.

The Zerg King, Cid Warlock, decided to camp where their spaceship had landed. They didnʼt choose the north area to land as it had more flat land than the other location.

As the current leader of the alliance, Zerg King Cid Warlock said, ”Something unknown must be happening in this place. For now, we can only camp near our spaceships to keep safe. Letʼs gather a few groups to gather information and scout nearby. If you find elementals or any aborigines of this planet, do not harm them. It would be better if we could ask them about the situation on this planet.

Maybe there might be no war happening on this star, but something else more dangerous. Be vigilant at all times.”

”Yes, Your Majesty!” collectively responded to everyone under his leadership.
